The end cap interfaces have rotational shafts, cylindrical receiving portions, receiving slots, and flange slots. A pair of end caps are exterior to the end cap interfaces, the end caps have flange recesses, rotation surfaces, shaft openings, and cam receiving areas, where the rotational shafts are disposed through the shaft openings, the receiving portions are adjacent to the rotation surfaces, and the flange slots are disposed in the flange recesses. The end caps are attached to a drawer. A cam is engaged to each of the rotational shafts. Each cam includes a shaft receiver, an actuator support and a cam actuator. The cams engage levers to release a drawer from a cabinet upon actuation of the handle.
Device and method for securing a deadbolt door lock
Disclosed is a security device for securing a deadbolt door lock having an interior face plate and a lever movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The security device includes a base member configured to be secured to the interior face plate of the deadbolt lock, and a lock member pivotably secured to the base member so that the lock member pivots between an open position and a closed position. The lock member is configured to prevent movement of the lever from the locked position to the unlocked position when the lock member is in the closed position and to permit movement of the lever from the locked position to the unlocked position when the lock member is in the open position.
CHILD PROOF LATCH AND METHOD OF FITTING
The invention relates to a child safety locking mechanism for a cupboard comprising first and second movable doors 3a, 3b and a fixed frame 3, and comprising first and second latching means 1, 31 and a catching means 2, the first and second latching means 1, 31 each comprising a retractable rod 4, 34 removably engageable in a corresponding recess 5a, 5b in the catch means 2 and retractable by a user operable unlocking means 12, 42 against the action of a spring 6, 36 which spring 6, 35 restores the retractable rod 4, 34 to the catch engaged position when the user releases the user operable unlocking means 12, 42; wherein the user operable unlocking means 12, 42 includes secondary locking means 13, 43 which normally prevents the operation of the user operable unlocking means 12, 42 and which must be unlocked before the user operable unlocking means 12, 42 can be operated. The secondary locking means is unlocked by a rotating, sliding or pressing-in action, and corresponding the unlocking means 12, 42 may be released by a rotating, sliding or pressing in action, and that the direction movement required to unlock the secondary locking means 13, 43 is different to the direction of movement required to release the unlocking means 12, 42. The retractable rod 4 includes a first catch engaging end 4a and second opposite operating end 4b which includes a gear rack 9, and the user operable unlocking means 12 includes user engaging surface and is connected by a shaft 11 to gear wheel 10 which engages the gear rack 9 to slidably move the retracting rod 4 when the engaging surface of the user operable unlocking means is rotated by an adult user.
Locking device and method for a parcel box
Locking device is disclosed for parcel boxes or lockers. The device comprises a user operable handle and a lock mechanism comprising a motor to rotate a pinion to move a rack attached to a handle-blocker and to a deadbolt. The handle-blocker controls transition of the user operable handle between open and closed positions due to movement of the rack, and simultaneously the deadbolt is configured to move between locking and unlocking positions. In the closed position, the handle-blocker and the handle-body have a linear connection with each other and in open position this connection is lost. The handle may be activated by tapping the handle-cover, or by using an RFID, NFC or by mobile technologies. A method to operate opening and closing a parcel box locked with the locking device allows one or more users to access the parcel box via software application paired with the device.
Integrated latch mechanism for securing rackmount equipment in a chassis
An integrated latch apparatus for a securing and releasing computer equipment from a chassis includes a support bracket, a rotating shaft, a sliding plate having a latching extension, and a handle having a rotating end. The handle is secured at the rotating end to the support bracket about the rotating shaft. The rotating end of the handle includes nudging extensions. A torsion spring is disposed on the rotating shaft such that the torsion spring biases the support bracket against the handle such that the handle is in an open position when the torsion spring is extended towards an equilibrium state and in a closed position when the torsion spring is biased toward a fully compressed state. The nudging extensions engage and laterally move a sliding plate when the handle is rotated between the open position and the closed position.
Systems, devices, and/or methods for managing door locks
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, which can comprise a securement. The securement comprises a rising member and defining at least a first slot. The system can comprise a locking member, the locking member defining an aperture. Wherein, when operatively coupled to the securement, a padlock coupled to the locking member via the aperture prevents removal of the locking member from the securement.
LOCKING DEVICE AND FOOD PROCESSOR
A locking device and a food processor. The locking device includes a cover plate; an unlocking mechanism including an unlocking key and an unlocking portion connected to the unlocking key. The unlocking portion is disposed in the cover plate and can move in the length direction of the cover plate. A disabling mechanism includes a blocking portion and an actuating portion, wherein the blocking portion can be clamped to the unlocking portion to block the movement of the unlocking portion in the length direction, and the actuating portion is in linkage with the blocking portion in such a mode that the blocking portion moves away from or close to the unlocking portion. After the disabling mechanism is started, a user does not need to press the unlocking key again when needing to open the door.
