INDICATOR LEVER
An indicator assembly for a lock assembly in which rotation of an indicator barrel having different indicator symbols is facilitated via magnetic forces. Upon locking of the lock assembly, such as via a push button assembly, an actuator is linearly displaced in a first direction, causing an activation pin that is connected to the actuator to push an activation carrier in the first direction. The activation carrier can also be rotated so that a first pole of a first magnet that is coupled to the activation carrier is linearly and rotably brought into closer proximity to a similar first pole of a second magnet that is coupled to the indicator barrel. Such displacement of the first magnet can cause a repelling force to be provided between the first and second magnets that facilitates the rotation of the indicator barrel about the lever from a first position to a second position.
LOCK
A lock for installation in a door leaf defining a first plane, the lock comprising: a housing; and a bolt moveable relative to the housing between a retracted position, and an extended position in which a distal portion of the bolt protrudes from an opening in the shoulder sloped in a plane parallel to the first plane, such that the bolt housing; wherein the distal portion of the bolt comprises at least one is moveable into the retracted position in response to a force applied to the shoulder.
Lock
A lock driver for a lock, including a lock cylinder body, an actuation attachment portion and an adapter structure. The lock cylinder body has a front end, a back end opposite the front end and an outer surface. The lock cylinder is positionable and rotatable within a bushing. The actuation attachment portion extends from the front end of the lock cylinder body. The actuation attachment portion includes an attachment interface that is structurally configured for coupling to a user maniuplatable structure. The adapter structure is associated with the back end of the lock cylinder body. The adapter structure is structurally configured to interface with an existing lock structure.
MODULAR BIDIRECTIONAL SPRING CAGE
An exemplary apparatus includes a modular, self-contained spring cage and a spindle. The spring cage includes a housing and a clock spring mounted in the housing, and the clock spring includes a first leg and a second leg. The spindle extends through the spring cage, and is rotatable from a home position about a longitudinal axis in each of a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction. Rotation of the spindle from the home position in the first rotational direction causes pivoting of the first leg while the second leg remains stationary, thereby causing the clock spring to urge the spindle to return to the home position. Rotation of the spindle from the home position in the second rotational direction causes pivoting of the second leg while the first leg remains stationary, thereby causing the clock spring to urge the spindle to return to the home position.
Rotation converter
A rotation converter according to certain embodiments generally includes a case, an input member, a shuttle, and an output member. The input member is rotatably mounted to the case, and is rotatable from an input member home position in each of a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction. The shuttle is movably mounted in the case, and is engaged with the input member such that rotation of the input member from the input member home position in each of the first rotational direction and the second rotational direction drives the shuttle from a shuttle home position to a shuttle actuated position. The output member is rotatably mounted to the case and engaged with the shuttle such that the output member rotates in an output member rotational direction in response to movement of the shuttle from the shuttle home position to the shuttle actuated position.
Mechanism for transmitting a torque applied to a handle and a method for operating a mechanism for transmitting a torque applied to a handle
Disclosed herein is a mechanism (10) for transmitting a torque applied to a handle (12). The mechanism (10) comprises a torque transmitter (18). The torque transmitter (18) is for transmitting the torque applied to the handle (12) coupled thereto. The mechanism (10) comprises a torque transmitter stop (40) within the housing (14). The torque transmitter (18) and the torque transmitter stop (40) are cooperatively arranged for the torque transmitter stop (40) and the torque transmitter (18) to engage to arrest a torque transmitter rotation. The torque transmitter (18) and the torque transmitter stop (40) are cooperatively arranged for the torque transmitter stop (40) and the torque transmitter (18) to disengage when the torque so applied exceeds a predetermined torque value. Also disclosed herein is a method for operating the mechanism (10) for transmitting a torque applied to the handle (12).
Hub for lock device, and lock device
A hub (10) for a lock device (104), the hub (10) comprising an outer member (12) having an outer opening structure (20); an inner member (14) having an inner opening structure (22); an intermediate member (16) having an intermediate opening structure (24); an attachment element (18) configured to be attached to the intermediate member (16), and being movable between a locking position (96) and an unlocking position (102); and a locking member (28) for rotationally locking the outer member (12) and the intermediate member (16), or for rotationally locking the inner member (14) and the intermediate member (16); wherein the hub (10) is configured such that the locking member (28) can be withdrawn from the intermediate member (16) when the attachment element (18) adopts the unlocking position (102). A lock device (104) comprising a hub (10) is also provided.
DOOR LOCK
A lock structure, which provides for latch bolt, which is used to open doors, to be opened independently from both sides of the door. The feature of the invention is that it comprises at least one left door handle bar receiving the motion from the left door handle, at least one right door handle bar receiving the motion from the right door handle, at least one joint, which will enable the left door handle bar and right door handle bar to move independently from each other.
Prosthetic attachment lock
An attachment lock (27) for a prosthetic limb including a housing (28) having an opening (32) for insertion of a prosthetic locking pin (13). A locking member (29) is mounted within the housing (28) and is arranged releasably to secure an inserted locking pin (13). The lock (27) includes means (35) to adjust the position of the locking member (29) relative to the housing (28) along the axis of an inserted locking pin (13).
