The present invention relates to a hinged door locking device and, more particularly, to a hinged door locking device comprising a rotatable lever installed on a door frame separately from a main locking device generally used for security, wherein a side to be opened by rotation in the hinged door is brought into tight contact with the door frame at multiple points in the longitudinal direction by operating the lever. Thus, the hinged door locking device is configured to readily maintain the tight contact and has high usability as an auxiliary locking device.

Lock

A lock includes a housing assembly, an actuatable lock assembly and a latching assembly. The actuatable lock assembly is positionable in at least a closed orientation and an open orientation. The latching assembly further includes a latch, a cam and a motor. The latch, having a cam profile, is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the actuatable lock assembly is maintained in the closed orientation. In the unlocked position, the actuatable lock assembly is positionable into an open orientation. The cam is rotatably mounted and has a first follower configured to intermittently coact with the cam profile of the latch, to, in turn, move the latch between the locked position and the unlocked position. The motor is coupled to the cam. Actuation of the motor causes rotation of the cam, resulting in movement of the latch between the locked and unlocked positions.

Motor vehicle lock with a position securing system

The invention relates to a door lock or flap lock comprising a locking mechanism that has a rotary latch and a pawl for locking the rotary latch. Said type of lock is also described in DE 103 20 457 A 1. The aim of the invention is to provide a lock with a position securing system with low technical complexity. Said aim is achieved by a lock with a locking mechanism comprising a rotary latch and a pawl for locking the rotary latch. The lock comprises a position securing system for a locking or anti-theft device. A spring is used for securing the position. Said spring is embodied as a dual-acting clamping spring. A tilting mechanism tilts a slot thus securing the position of the slot if excessively accelerated. As a result, an undesired movement of the slot is inhibited and the position thereof is thus improved.

HANDLE RETENTION

A handleset includes a housing, a spindle sleeve, a handle, a coupler, and a spindle. The spindle sleeve includes an aperture, and is rotatably mounted to the housing. The handle is mounted to the spindle sleeve and includes a recess aligned with the aperture. The coupler is movably mounted in the aperture for movement between a decoupling position and a coupling position. The coupler in the coupling position is disengaged from the recess and does not prevent removal of the handle from the spindle sleeve. The coupler in the coupling position extends into the recess and prevents removal of the handle from the spindle sleeve. The spindle is movably received in the spindle sleeve and selectively retains the coupler in the coupling position.

Kitchen appliance comprising drawer

The present disclosure provides a kitchen appliance with a drawer. The kitchen appliance has a body, a drawer and a position-limiting lock assembly. The drawer is located in an accommodation cavity of the body. The position-limiting lock assembly has a lock and is mounted on the body and above the accommodation cavity. One end of the lock is rotatably connected to the body, and the other end of the lock protrudes from the front opening of the body. When the other end of the lock rotates to a position in front of the drawer cover, the drawer is restrained from being pulled out of the accommodation cavity; when the other end of the lock rotates away from the position in front of the drawer cover, the drawer can be pulled out of the accommodation cavity, thereby preventing the drawer from being accidentally opened in movement settings.

An electronic device includes a first unit, a second unit, and a lock mechanism. The lock mechanism includes: an engagement projection provided on a third side surface of the first unit; a latch provided on a fourth side surface of the second unit, the latch being rotatable around a rotation axis provided perpendicular to the fourth side surface between a first rotational position where the latch does not engage with the engagement projection and a second rotational position where the latch is engageable with the engagement projection, and an urging member that urges the latch to be positioned at the second rotational position. The latch has an inclined part. When the latch is located at the second rotational position and the first unit is changed to a closed state from a state where the first unit is not closed, the inclined part abuts on the engagement projection during the change.

A lock, attachable to a coupling in a bushing coupled to an outside structure, includes a housing, an actuatable lock assembly and a latching assembly. The actuatable lock assembly is rotatable relative to the housing assembly in a closed orientation and an open orientation, and, has a spindle member having a knob attachment portion and a coupling attachment portion. Here, the spindle member and a knob are configured to rotate relative to the housing assembly. The coupling attachment portion is extendable into a central bore and attachable to a coupling. Upon attachment, relative rotation of the spindle member and the coupling is substantially precluded. The latching assembly is positionable in one of a locked position and an unlocked position. The latching assembly is positioned within the cavity of the housing assembly and includes a motor to direct the actuatable lock assembly from a closed orientation to the open orientation.

LATCH HAVING COVER

A latch is configured to fix a panel relative to a frame. The latch includes a housing having a longitudinal axis and defining an aperture along the longitudinal axis; a cap mounted within the aperture of the housing for rotation about the longitudinal axis, the cap comprising a drive surface; and a cover coupled to the housing to pivot about a lateral axis, the cover pivotable to be in a closed position in which the cover covers the cap; wherein when the cap is in an unlatched position, the drive surface of the cap is aligned with an engagement surface of the cover and positioned to block the cover from pivoting to the closed position; and wherein when the cap is in a latched position, the drive surface is unaligned with the engagement surface and positioned to permit the cover to pivot to the closed position.
