BAR HANDLE WITH INCORPORATED LOCK
A bar handle with incorporated lock having a tubular element for gripping a handle, installed on a face of a door by way of interposition of at least one spacer element, and a lock which is at least partially contained inside the tubular element. The handle includes a release device for releasing the lock, which is configured to be operated manually with a pusher element installed on the tubular element. the handle comprises a release device for releasing the lock, which is configured to be operated manually with a pusher element installed on the tubular element.
Sash window restrictor
A sash window restrictor (20) has a housing (22) which is to be let into a vertical frame member (10) of one sash (normally the upper, outer sash) of a window, at a position, say, 10 cm above the top rail of the lower sash when the windows are closed. A tab (24) is mounted in the housing and can be retracted into the housing or extended from the housing. A mechanism acts between the tab and the housing and allows the tab to be pressed into the housing and held in the housing for a period of time before the tab is released to allow the tab to extend. With the tab extended, the lower sash (12) can be lifted until it reaches the tab (24) but no further, so that a 10 cm gap will be opened at the bottom of the window.
IMPROVEMENTS TO LATCHES FOR MOVABLE BARRIERS OR THE LIKE
Disclosed is a latch assembly mountable to a structure including a latch, remote actuating unit, and a guide. The guide is adapted to facilitate installation of the latch assembly. The guide is formed separately to the latch and the remote actuating unit. The guide is mounted with one of the latch or remote actuating unit on installation of the assembly on the structure.
Latch locking mechanism
Provided is a latch mechanism including: a main body including a first enclosure and a second enclosure; a latch including: a latch body positioned within and slidingly coupled with the first enclosure of the main body; a latch lock fixed to the latch body; and a handle fixed to the latch body; and a latch locking mechanism including: a stopper positioned within and slidingly coupled with the second enclosure of the main body; a limit bar fixed to the latch body; a spring holder fixed to the latch body; and a spring positioned on the spring holder.
TAMPER RESISTANT GRAVITY LATCH
A hasp assembly (200), having: a hasp (302) that engages a staple (404); an actuator (320) that retains the hasp in an engaged position; a first passage (410) and a first element (802) therewithin; and a second passage (412) and a second element (418) therewithin. A linear length of the second passage (L2) is greater than a linear length (L1) of the first passage. When in a tilted orientation (800) the first element is urged by gravity along the first passage and impact of the first element on the actuator releases the hasp, and the second element is urged by gravity along the second passage toward a terminal position (712) where the second element blocks the first element.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURING CALF HUTCHES
A securement system for securing one or more calf hutches is provided. The securement system includes latch assemblies and a line. The latch assemblies are configured to be attached to the calf hutches and comprise receiver flanges and latch arms. Each receiver flange includes a vertically-extending plate defining a locking slot with an open end. Each latch arm may be shifted between a closed position in which it blocks the open end of the locking slot and an open position in which it does not block the open end of the locking slot. Each latch arm is biased to the closed position.
LEAK CONTAINMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A leak containment system includes a mounting bracket, a tray, and a locking mechanism. The mounting bracket has a first rail, a second rail, and a panel extending between the first rails and the second rail. The panel is vertically offset from feet formed on the first rail, and a channel is defined by at least the first rail and an underside of the panel. The tray is removably received within the channel. The tray includes a bottom surface surrounded by perimeter walls that together define a fluid container. The perimeter walls include a front perimeter wall that extends upwardly above the other walls. The locking mechanism is coupled to the mounting bracket and is configured to selectively engage the front perimeter wall of the tray to restrict movement of the tray outward from the channel.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR WASTE CONTAINER AND METHODS
The present invention provides a locking device for a waste container that keeps the lid of the container closed when the container is knocked over on its side, as may arise from a sudden jerking or jarring motion, such as by impact with the ground, to prevent spillage of its contents. The locking device allows the lid to open automatically when the waste container is tipped over by a dumping operation. The locking device includes a sliding block slidable between a locked position and an open position, and a pendulum weight detachably attached to a magnet, when detached from the magnet, the pendulum weight blocks the sliding block from sliding to the open position. When attached to the magnet, the pendulum weight allows the sliding block to slide to the open position.

Weight-triggered locking feature
An apparatus includes a housing, a spring-loaded plunger within the housing, and a spring-loaded rotating lock extending from the housing. The spring-loaded plunger includes a slot and an end portion. The end portion is configured to extend outside the housing and to be moved inward at least partially into the housing. The spring-loaded rotating lock includes a shaft, a locking pin positioned on the shaft, and a disc positioned on the shaft and having a recess. At least part of the spring-loaded plunger fits within the recess of the disc and is configured to contact the disc, and at least part of the disc fits within the slot.
