Rack component latches

Latching components for retaining rack component cases within server racks are described. In one example, a latching component is installed at an interior surface of a rack component case. The latching component includes a protrusion. The latching component is biased in a locked position in which the protrusion is outside the rack component case. The latching component is moveable from the locked position to an unlocked in which the protrusion is removed from outside the rack component case using an unlatching component.

The mounting structure for a display screen includes a cabinet for fixing the display screen. The cabinet includes an outer frame that is connected to an external fixed structure and a panel that is detachably connected to the outer frame. The outer frame is fixedly connected to the panel through a lock mechanism in a locked state and is separated from the panel when the lock mechanism is opened. The cabinet is divided into the separate panel and the outer frame, and the outer frame that is lighter in weight is installed at first and then the panel is detachably connected to the outer frame by the lock mechanism.

The lock with key having expanding arm elements is a lock. The lock with key having expanding arm elements comprises a body structure and a key structure. The key structure inserts into the body structure. The key structure rotates within the body structure to release the locking elements of the lock with key having expanding arm elements. The key structure comprises a plurality of rotating blade structures. Each of the plurality of rotating blade structures interact with an independent lock mechanism selected from a plurality of lock mechanisms contained in the body structure. The rotation of each rotating blade structure within its associated independent lock mechanism releases the locking elements of the lock with key having expanding arm elements.

High security locking system which forms a deviating picking path and associated deviated key

A high security locking system comprising a deviated key and a lock housing. The lock housing may further comprise a face plate with a keyhole for receiving the deviated key and first pin slots disposed within the lock housing. The high security locking system may comprise a lock cylinder disposed within the lock housing and include second pin slots disposed within the lock cylinder. An idler block may be disposed within the lock cylinder and may be rotatable, which may allow the deviated key to align with one or more of the second pin slots in the lock cylinder. Additionally, a stationary block may be disposed within the lock cylinder and the deviated key may rotate around the lock without interfering with the stationary block.

A key, comprising: a key head; and a key shank (10), characterized in that the key shank (10) includes a torsion section (20) that is formed, in particular cold formed, along a longitudinal axis (L) at least in sections, wherein the key shank (10) includes a base cross-section (26) in a transition portion to the torsion section (20), wherein a cross-section (30) of the key shank (10) protrudes at least in sections beyond the base cross-section (26) in the torsion section (20) in a direction towards the key tip (70).

Hybrid physical and logical locking device and mechanism

In an approach, a locking device comprises a lock cylinder, a first solenoid valve and a second solenoid valve, a barcode scanner adjacent to the lock cylinder, a spring-loaded interface adjacent to the lock cylinder, and a logical circuit comprising a first disc and a second disc. In an approach for using a hybrid security key in a non-networked device, a locking device of the non-networked device authenticates logical and physical attributes of a hybrid security key, determines authorizations of the hybrid security key, and audits use of hybrid security key while in the locking device of the non-networked device.

A key for use in a cylinder lock with a rotatable key plug having an elongated key blade with a relatively wide lower portion and a relatively narrow upper portion. A step-like transition region between the wider lower portion and the narrow upper portion. The key blade includes a longitudinal profile groove located adjacent to the step-like transition region that extends along at least a portion of the length of the blade. An inner wall of groove is substantially parallel to a side surface of the lower portion of the key blade. The longitudinal profile groove includes an undercut portion adjacent to and inside a ridge portion of the key blade. The outside of ridge portion forms apart of the side surface of the blade in the relatively wide lower portion up to the step-like transition region and the inside of ridge portion facing inner wall of the groove.

A lock cylinder comprises a cylinder housing, a disk housing rotatably supported about a cylinder axis in the cylinder housing, a plurality of rotatably supported disk tumblers arranged along the cylinder axis in the disk housing, wherein each disk tumbler has a reception opening for a key, and a blocking element which is arranged in front of the disk tumblers, with respect to the key introduction direction, and is rotationally coupled to the disk housing. The blocking element is movable by a rotation of the key in an unlatching direction out of a blocking position in which the blocking element engages into a reception recess at the inner wall of the cylinder housing into a release position in which the blocking element is out of engagement with the reception recess.
