KEY IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
A key identification system that includes a key identification system housing, a key clamp, a key ring support tray, and two digital identifiers is disclosed. The key identification system housing may include a key receiving aperture extending through housing and sized to receive at least some of a key blade of a key. The key clamp is positioned adjacent to the key receiving aperture and allows the system to maintain the key blade in a fixed position within the key identification system housing when the key is inserted into the key receiving aperture. The key ring support tray is typically coupled to the key identification system housing below the key receiving aperture. The two digital identifiers are positioned within the key identification system housing and designed to capture key blade information.
Low cost electronic key finder with light impinging upon photodetectors across a slot and around key in slot
A system for identifying a key to a lock. The system uses a simple scanner. Within the scanner, a plate is illuminated by at least one LED. Opposite the plate is positioned a matrix of photodetectors. The plate and the matrix of photodetectors are separated by a slot that is sized to receive the key. The matrix of photodetectors generates an electronic signal that is indicative of light from the plate that passes across the key in the slot. A memory is provided that stores known key signals. A processor is provided that compares the newly generated electronic signal to the known key signals in the memory to find a match. A display is provided for displaying information about which the key signals from memory is a match. In this manner, a person can identify the key.
Combination key and locking cover
The combination key and locking cover provides a decorative key and a decorative cover for the blade of the key in order to aid in loss prevention of the key, as well as providing protection for the user from the cuts in the blade of the key. The key includes a head, a locking hub mounted on a lower portion of the head, and a blade secured to the locking hub and projecting downwardly therefrom. The cover has opposed upper and lower ends, with a rim being formed at the upper end of the cover, and a recess formed inside the cover. The locking hub of the key is releasably lockable to the rim of the cover, such that when the locking hub of the key is attached to the rim, the blade of the key is releasably contained within the recess.

Automatic adjusting barrel lock key
A barrel lock key is configured to unlock a variety of barrel locks requiring various stroke lengths of a barrel lock key to be unlocked. The barrel lock key can be actuated between a neutral position, an intermediate position, and an overthrow position. In the neutral position, there are no outside forces acting on the barrel lock key. In an intermediate position, the barrel lock key can be configured to place a barrel lock in an unlocked orientation. In the overthrow position, the barrel lock key is fully actuated and is configured to maintain a barrel lock in an unlocked orientation without excessive forces that act to disengage the barrel lock key from the barrel lock.
