The key cover and the reader are in wireless communication with each other and further in wireless communication with an application of a mobile device. The key guard system is configured to secure a key within the retractable sheath and prevent tampering and otherwise unwanted removal of the key from the retractable sheath.
Method and System for Isolation Management and or Access Control
A system of isolation management comprises a computer for generating an isolation plan; a lockbox configured to receive the isolation plan from the computer; a mobile device associated with an individual, and one or more locks for isolation locking of an asset by each individual according to the isolation plan. The mobile device is allocated to the lockbox according to the isolation plan. The lockbox is configured to recognise the mobile device when proximal to the lockbox. The one or more isolation locks are removably housed in the lockbox. The one or more isolation locks are each able to be recognised by the mobile device and the mobile device is configured to record an association of one or more of the isolation locks to the mobile device according to the isolation plan. There is also an isolation point for isolating the asset with the one or more isolation locks according to the isolation plan. The isolation point is able to be recognised by the mobile device.
Key for operating a lock mechanism and kit of parts
The present disclosure relates to a key (101) for operating a lock mechanism (L). The key (101) includes a shank (105); and a blade (107) having a lock operating bit portion (111). The blade (107) is movable relative to the shank (105) between an operative position and a non-operative position. The blade (107) is disposed alongside the shank (105) in said non-operative position. The present disclosure also relates to key (101) in combination with a key fob; and a kit comprising a key (101) and a lock mechanism (L).
Housing for radio-frequency identification/near-field communication tag and strap for same
A housing can include a first part and a second part. Each of the first part and the second part can include a first surface, a second surface, a third surface, a fourth surface, and a fifth surface. The second surface can form a first edge with the first surface. The third surface can form a second edge with the second surface. The fourth surface can form a third edge with the third surface. The first part can be attached, via an attachment, to the second part so that the first surfaces form an exterior surface of the housing, the second surfaces abut each other, the third surfaces abut each other, the fourth surfaces abut each other, and the fifth surfaces define an interior space of the housing. The attachment can be within the interior space and can include an ultrasonic weld. The housing can house an antenna.
