SELF-DEFENSE KEY HOLDER
Aspects of the present disclosure generally pertain to an apparatus and method for holding a key for self-defense. Aspects of the present disclosure more specifically are directed toward a self-defense key holder or an apparatus that rapidly converts a key (e.g., house key) into a fighting weapon, for example, for self-defense. The defense key holder may utilize an existing key (e.g., home/office/auto) to replace bulky and often prohibited self-defense aids. This disclosure may be useful for giving a user additional control and force in a variety of motions with a key or other object.
Key
A key includes a key-shaped supporting structure, made of a metal material, which includes a stem and a head having an opening therethrough, the opening being entirely laterally delimited by inner side walls extending from one face of the head to the other; and an insert, made of a polymeric material, which includes an identification system and which is removably inserted into the opening of the head, the insert having at least one section protruding from the inner side walls of the opening and laterally projecting with respect to the opening, thus abutting against a part of the head portion provided about the opening.

Self defense instrument and key with sharpened tip
The present invention is a self-defense instrument comprised of an ergonomic key holder and a key with a sharpened tip that is retained within a slotted compartment defined within the key holder, said key holder further including opposite extending protrusions that extend generally perpendicularly away from the slotted compartment and that are configured to be graspable by the user's hand.

Fabrication system for key making machine
A fabrication system is disclosed for use in a key making machine. The fabrication system may have a housing with a slot configured to receive a key blank, and a receiving unit configured to accept a shank of the key blank at the slot. The receiving unit may be configured to mechanically align the shank as it is inserted by a user. The fabrication system may also have a clamp movable between an open position and a closed position, and an actuator. The actuator may be configured to move the receiving unit and the key blank to the clamp, and to move the receiving unit away from the key blank after the clamp has moved to the closed position.

Vehicle key assembly
A vehicle key assembly may include a main body case; an emergency key including a key portion and a knob connected to the key portion and provided to be introduced into the main body case; a restraining member; and a manipulator configured to operate the restraining member, wherein the knob includes: a knob case connected to the key portion and configured to close an opening of the main body case in a state of being accommodated in the main body case; a key ring member mounted on the knob case to be introduced into or retracted from the knob case to be protruded to an outside of the main body case; and one or more elastic members provided in the knob case and configured to press the key ring member in a protrusion direction in which the key ring member is protruded.
