KEY, LOCK, AND LATCH ASSEMBLY
A latch mechanism includes a hook-handle assembly coupled to a first panel and a clevis coupled to a second panel. The hook-handle assembly engages the clevis to secure the first panel relative to the second panel.
Door latch installation
A door latch system (1) comprises a latch (10) and rose bases (60A,B) which clamp together against a door panel through a cross-drilling in the door panel by screws 80 engaging in bosses (94) above and below the latch body (12). The latch body is supported in the cross drilling by an adaptor (40) which in turn supports sleeve extensions (90) of the rose bases to prevent the rose bases from turning on operation of the handle knob/levers attached to the rose bases. The sleeve extensions are open, (that is, C-shaped in section) so that the diameter of the parts of the system within the cross drilling can be minimised, whereby the diameter of the rose bases can likewise be kept within desirable limits of size.
STATUS-INDICATING CYLINDRICAL LOCK ASSEMBLY
An exemplary status-indicating locking assembly includes a cylindrical lock assembly and a status-indicating assembly. The status-indicating assembly includes a sensor configured to sense the status of the cylindrical lock assembly, a transmission configured to communicate the lock status to at least one side of a door, and an indicator configured to display indicia relating to the lock status on the at least one side of the door. In certain forms, the sensor, transmission, and indicator may be electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, magnetic, or combinations thereof.
Security lock
A security lock, having a lock tongue, a key cylinder (20), and a key (30). The key cylinder (20) has a main body (21), a cover (22), and a connection assembly (40). The main body (21) has a channel (24). An electronic control assembly (50) and a mechanical control assembly (60) controlling the connection assembly (40) are provided within the main body (21). The key (30) has an elongate portion (31) and a grip portion (32). A power supply and a control chip are provided within the grip portion (32). The elongate portion (31) has bitting cuts (33) and a first contact member (34) connecting to the control chip. During an unlock operation, the key (30) is inserted into the channel (24), the first contact member (34) is communicatively connected to the electronic control assembly (50), and the bitting cuts (33) press against the mechanical control assembly (60).
Lock mechanism
A lock mechanism includes a first mounting plate, a second mounting plate, a restricting plate, a fixing base, at least one first fixing element and at least one second fixing element. The first mounting plate and the restricting plate are mounted on one side of a door, and the second mounting plate and the fixing base are mounted on the other side of the door. The first fixing element is penetrated through the restricting plate in a direction from the restricting plate toward the second mounting plate. The second fixing element is penetrated through the fixing base in a direction from the fixing base toward the first mounting plate. The fixing base and a lock cylinder disposed on the fixing base can be disassembled and replaced by removing the second fixing element such that dismantling the whole lock mechanism is not necessary.
Padlock With Integrated Keyway
A padlock is configured to be locked and unlocked by a key and includes a lock body having an internal cavity with a locking mechanism and a keyway extending through the lock body into the internal cavity to provide access to the locking mechanism by the key. The locking mechanism is configured to be selectively moved over a range of positions when the key is received therein to lock and unlock the padlock. The keyway has an eccentric profile that permits the key to be removed from the locking mechanism in only a single position of the range of positions.
BARREL PIN ASSEMBLIES
The disclosure relates to a cylinder lock wherein an eccentric barrel pin assembly with two contact points within the keyway are independently movable within the barrel to a common shear line against a single nested column pin assembly.
High-strength lock
Described herein is locking apparatus, method for making a locking apparatus, and method for mounting a locking apparatus to the door of a personal storage container. The locking apparatus may include a threaded portion having deformed threads and a lock body shape to fit a restrictive mounting hole.
Enhanced security handcuff apparatus
A handcuff design is provided, including a handcuff strand having ratchet teeth with openings formed therein, a ratchet button comprising teeth configured to interface with the openings formed in the handcuff strand, a universal handcuff key receptacle configured to receive a universal handcuff key, a pawl arrangement including a rotatable pawl element configured to be moved in a direction away from the handcuff strand by the universal handcuff key, the pawl arrangement including a spring mechanism, and a lock bar configured to impede movement of the pawl arrangement unless moved to an unlocked position. Unlocking the handcuff requires digitally actuating a first of the pair of ratchet buttons concurrently with digitally actuating a second of the pair of ratchet buttons while simultaneously employing the universal handcuff key, thereby releasing the ratchet teeth of the handcuff strand.
