LOCK BYPASS DETECTION
A lock system and method for alerting a user or other entity that a lock has been or is being tampered with is disclosed. The lock includes at least one enhanced security pin that is electrically isolated from the rest of the lock. When the lock picker attempts to pick the lock a portion of the enhanced security pin contacts either the plug or the outer casing of the lock to complete a circuit with an alert component. The completion of the circuit causes the alert component to generate an alert signal that can be observed by the user or other entity.
Pick-resistant pin tumbler lock
A pick-resistant pin tumbler lock having a first stage in which the pins may move but the plug cannot rotate, and a second stage in which the plug may rotate but the pins cannot move. Pin movement inhibitors prevent further movement of the pins once sufficient rearward force is applied to the lock, and a rotation inhibitor prevents rotation of the plug until after the sufficient rearward force is applied.
LOCK DEVICE
A lock includes a housing, a cylindrical core body and a tumbler unit. The core body is rotatably mounted in the housing, and includes a core axle, and a core tube sleeved on the core axle. The core axle has a helical keyway. The tumbler unit includes a housing pin hole formed in the housing, a tube through hole formed through the core tube, a pin assembly movably mounted in the housing pin hole and the tube through hole, a hole-defining surface defining the tube through hole and having a shoulder surface portion, and a resilient member disposed in the housing and resiliently biasing the pin assembly to abut against the shoulder surface portion and extend into the helical keyway.
Pick-resistant pin tumbler lock assembly
A pick-resistant lock assembly may include a housing having a cylindrical opening. The cylindrical opening may have a centerline. The housing may include a plurality of pin cavities intersecting the cylindrical opening. A plug may be rotatably mounted in the cylindrical opening. The plug may include a keyway and a plug axis. A slide bar pocket may be formed within the housing. The lock assembly may include a pin verification mechanism having a slide bar in the slide bar pocket. The pin verification mechanism may be concealed within the housing and may be inaccessible to an attacker inserting a hand tool through the keyway. Other examples may be described and claimed.
TRIGGERED ROTATION- ARRESTING DEADBOLT
The disclosure relates in general to a locking mechanism for a door. Specifically, the disclosure relates to a thumbturn latching mechanism having a triggered rotation-arresting assembly therein, configured to inhibit rotation of the lock mechanism upon unauthorized removal of the posterior portion of the latching mechanism, while still allowing for selectably bypassing the rotation-arresting mechanism from the anterior portion of the locking mechanism.
Cylinder Lock with Interact Mobile Devices
A tumbler pin lock includes one or two auxiliary locking mechanisms including an auxiliary locking pin, and an auxiliary blocking component to provide enhance locking in addition to the locking provided by the tumbler pins so that the lock remains locked even if the tumblers are picked or bumped into their unlocked positions. A cylinder lock is provided with an auxiliary locking pin which projects into the keyway, which, with the proper key, is slid forward with a mobile device into an area in the lock housing where an auxiliary groove allows the cylinder plug to turn. The second locking component, which is approximately rectangular similarly has a post that is moved forward with the insertion of the proper key into an annular groove allowing the cylinder plug to turn.
Cylinder lock and associated key
A cylinder lock and an associated key, the lock comprising a fixed body and a plug, which is accommodated within a respective cavity of the body and can rotate with respect to the body. The plug comprises a substantially longitudinal compartment for the functional accommodation of a key which comprises a grip portion from which an elongated body extends which is provided with coding grooves and protrusions on its outer surface; between the plug and the body there are respective accommodation channels for translating coding elements, which open onto the substantially longitudinal compartment; the plug comprises at least one auxiliary duct, which faces the substantially longitudinal compartment and extends at least partially in the body, for the sliding accommodation of at least one coding unit that is constituted by at least one pin and at least one conical portion.
LOCKSET
A lockset includes a lock cylinder, a lock casing, a first lock member, a second lock member and an anti-theft member. The lock cylinder includes a key hole and a first lock slot. The lock casing includes a second lock slot. The first lock member is accommodated in the first lock slot. The second lock member is accommodated in the second lock slot. The anti-theft member is sandwiched in between the first lock member and the second lock member. When two ends of the anti-theft member are respectively located in the first lock slot and the second lock slot, the lock cylinder and the lock casing are locked. When a contact surface between the anti-theft member and the first lock member or the second lock member is aligned with a rotation interface between the lock cylinder and the lock casing, the lock cylinder and the lock casing are unlocked.
Pickproof lock
A pickproof lock has a hollow housing, a lock shaft and a sleeve mounted in the housing, multiple axial pin sets mounted in the lock shaft and the sleeve, and at least one radial pin set mounted in the housing and the lock shaft. When unlocking the pickproof lock, the key is able to push the axial pin sets and the at least one radial pin set to unlocking positions, so as to drive the lock shaft to rotate and to unlock the pickproof lock. The complexity of the pickproof lock is increased. People with bad intentions are unable to unlock the pickproof lock with a lock picking tool, such as a round tube. Accordingly, personal goods or private matters can be safely protected by the pickproof lock.
