Receptacle latching mechanism incorporating a go-gauge
A latching mechanism includes a gauge defining a passage extending therethrough, and a latch operably connected to the gauge and structured to be rotatable from a latching position to an unlatched position by movement of a component at least partially through the passage. The latch is structured to engage a latch engagement feature positioned on a lid of a receptacle to maintain the lid in a closed condition when the latch is in the latching position. The receptacle lid is released for opening when the latch disengages from the latch engagement feature.
A LOCK UNIT
The invention concerns a lock unit, comprising a lock assembly having a locking element and a drive receiving portion operatively associated with the locking element and a drive unit connected to the lock assembly, the drive unit having a motor and being configured to move the locking element of the lock assembly from a locked position to an unlocked position, the drive unit including a driving element that interfaces with the drive receiving portion of the lock assembly to move the locking element from the locked position to the unlocked position, wherein the drive unit is selectively separable from the lock assembly. The invention facilitates fitment of the lock assembly in position, provides a more compact and secure solution, and assists in regard to maintenance.
Emergency deadbolt device
A door deadbolt device that can prevent a door from opening operates independently from the lockset installed on the door. The device is easily locked from the inside of the room with a one-handed motion using an insertable tool or key which may be carried separately or stored out of the reach of small children or unauthorized persons. The bolt is positioned so as to be pushed into a locking position under the tension of a spring, thereby easily and securely bolting the door. The present invention further allows the user to rapidly unbolt the door from inside the room also with a one-handed single motion. Optionally, the device can also be unbolted from the outside with a special tool.
Dust-proof and anti-theft tubular lock assembly
A tubular lock assembly has a tubular lock, a cover, and a disassembling unit. The tubular lock has an annular keyhole and a cover screw hole enclosed by the keyhole. The cover is detachably assembled with the tubular lock, and has a covering board segment, a screw rod segment, and a first fitting segment. The covering board segment covers the keyhole. The screw rod segment is detachably screwed in the cover screw hole of the tubular lock. The first fitting segment is formed on the covering board segment. The disassembling unit has a second fitting segment. The second fitting segment corresponds in shape and size with the first fitting segment of the cover, such that the second fitting segment is adapted to engage with the first fitting segment, and the disassembling unit is capable of rotating the cover.
WIRELESS CONTROLLED BLOCKING APPARATUS AND SINGLE POINT LOCKING SYSTEM
A wirelessly controlled blocking apparatus to enable a single-point locking system for securing multiple access points on a cabinet panel. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide for a wirelessly controlled blocking apparatus to enable a single-point locking system for securing multiple access points. In accordance with certain embodiments, the wirelessly controlled blocking apparatus is utilized to secure an access panel of an enclosure, such as an electronics cabinet. In accordance with certain preferred embodiments, an electronics cabinet comprises a plurality of quarter-turn cam latches being installed on the access panel and configured to selectively secure the access panel to an opening of the enclosure.
Systems and Methods for Preventing the Opening of a Door by Unauthorized Personnel
Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed involving a door blocking apparatus to reduce a likelihood of, and possibly prevent, opening of a door by unauthorized personnel. The apparatus may be networked in a security system and may be connectable to an online security platform. In a particular embodiment, an embodiment of the invention may include a security system involving a plurality of door locations having a plurality of networked door blocking apparatus. Each door blocking apparatus may include a door blocking mechanism operable by a user on a safety side of a door, such as having the user rotate an apparatus handle that rotates the door blocking mechanism between a non-blocking position and a blocking position. In the non-blocking position, the door blocking apparatus does not block the door from opening and closing. In the blocking position, the door blocking apparatus blocks the door from opening and from closing completely.
Door locking device
Locking device for the opening of a door including two opposite members apt to be mounted to a door and to a post, respectively, and provided with housing holes of screws for the engagement with a surface, one of the bodies including a solid body except for a cavity provided on one of the side walls, the other one of the bodies including an outside shell internally provided with a housing cavity of a sliding body, characterised in that a lock block for the movement of the sliding body is furthermore provided, housed within a cavity provided on the top surface of the outer shell as well as dampening and thrust structure of the sliding body.
Systems and methods for electronically locking HVAC doors
Systems and methods are disclosed that operate a door latch of a door of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system electronically based on operating a locking engagement device. The locking engagement device may be disposed on an outer portion of a door, the latch may be part of a latching system disposed on an inner portion of the door, and the locking engagement device may transmit a signal indicating that the locking engagement device is in an open or closed position to the latching system via a conductor electronically coupling the locking engagement device and the latching system. In some embodiments, the locking engagement device may transmit a signal indicating that the locking engagement device is in an open or closed position to a controller, which may then instruct the latching system to open or close the latch based on receiving the signal.
Actuating handle with blocking device
The invention relates to an actuating handle (100) for a door with an escutcheon (104) and a handle (102) for actuating a locking device arranged in the door. The handle (102) for actuating the locking device is mounted in the escutcheon (104) rotatably about a first axis of rotation. The actuating handle (100) moreover has a blocking device (106), having a release position in which a rotation of the handle (102) about the first axis of rotation is released, and a blocking position in which a rotation of the handle (102) about the first axis of rotation is blocked by the blocking device (106). The actuating handle (100) moreover has an actuating mechanism (112) for the blocking device (106). According to the invention, it is provided that the actuating mechanism (112) has a sliding element (108) which is displaceable along a circle segment centered around the first axis of rotation, wherein a displacement of the sliding element (108) along the circle segment brings about an actuation of the blocking device (106).
