Tamper-proof electronic bolt-seal
A tamper-proof bolt-seal incorporating a unique identification tamper detection sensor that cannot be restored or duplicated after the bolt. The sensor employs a resistive sensor wire embedded in the bolt. The resistive sensor wire has a randomized length to enable a unique resistive value for that sensor. The resistive value of the sensor is combined with an electronic identification code to create the unique seal identification for the tamper detection sensor, therefore giving the bolt a seal identification that is unique and that cannot be restored or duplicated.
Security system with anti-tampering sensors and cybersecurity
The disclosed embodiments include a method for tamper-proof protection of containers used for shipment of goods. The system contains a lock with electronic and mechanical components and a controller. A sensor is connected to a lock so that if forms a closed loop. The sensor can be an optical fiber or a distributed arrangement with an optical or an electrical shield. The electronics in the lock provide real time monitoring of the status of the lock. The lock cannot be opened or reproduced due to the signature of the closed loop which is stored in a remote server. Intrusions detected are relayed to an authorized recipient via a variety of communication channels. The data and control of the entire system is protected with several programs targeted to provide cybersecurity.
Ski locking device
A ski locking device and method for securing a pair of snow skis equipped with snow brakes are provided. The ski locking device comprises a housing (1320) having a rear portion (240), and a lockable closure member (1370) connected to the housing (1320). The housing (1320) and the lockable closure member (1370) are configured such that, when the ski locking device is in a closed position locking a pair of skis, with a slide surface of the first ski (3010) facing a slide surface of the second ski (3020), the rear portion (240) of the housing (220) faces a first edge (3012) of the first ski (3010) and a second edge (3022) of the second ski (3020). The lockable closure member (1370) encloses the snow brakes (3040; 3050) at a crossing point (3060) of the snow brakes.
PHONE AND TABLET CASE
A case for a portable electronic device includes a substantially hollow housing formed of a first section and a second section. The first section is dimensioned and configured to tightly retain the portable electronic device. A hinged connector secures a first portion of the first section to a first portion of the second section and allows access to the portable electronic device when the second section is in an open position. One or more locking mechanisms removably connect a second portion of the first section to a second portion of the second section and prevents access to the portable electronic device when the second section is in a closed and locked position. A locating device is disposed within or attached to the first section.
Method for locking, unlocking and positioning of a tool
Methods, nodes, a power tool and computer programs for and in a power tool (100) for enabling unlocking and locking of the power tool for prevention of unauthorized use, the method comprising receiving (S100) an unlock message to a control unit (210), the message including an instruction to unlock the tool (100), unlocking (S110) the power tool (100) according to the instruction by the control unit (210) via an actuator unit (250), counting (S120) an authorization time period from reception of the first message to the control unit (210) by a counter (230), wherein when the counted authorization time period exceed a predetermined threshold, locking (S130) the power tool (100) by the control unit (210) via the actuator unit (250), thereby enabling prevention of unauthorized use of the power tool (100) by remote unlocking and locking.
Locking System and Method for a Movable Freight Container
A locking system and method for a movable freight container comprises an electronic module with a shaft that goes into a cavity in a mechanical lock module. The shaft is securely retained in the cavity by a lock mechanism in the mechanical lock module by moving the lock mechanism to a locked position. A plurality of magnetic field sensors in the shaft are used to read the position of the shaft in the cavity by sensing or not sensing one or more magnets in the lock mechanism to confirm continuous time insertion of the shaft in the cavity. A wireless communication component in the electronic module wirelessly transmits an alarm signal if the magnetic field sensors detect an unexpected interruption in at least one of the continuous time shaft position magnetic sensor readings.
PORTABLE SAFE
A portable safe for a firearm or other valuable, which may be worn on a belt, comprising a first plate and second cover hingedly connected along a bottom edge, and comprising a latch along a top edge. The latch may be manually operated and may be remotely lockable to prevent unauthorized opening. A firearm may be stored in the invention by placing the barrel of the gun onto a barrel pin in a sliding engagement. The barrel pin may be long enough to protrude into the chamber of the invention to prevent storage of a firearm that has a round in the chamber. The portable safe may be configured for left or right hand draw. The invention may comprise a GPS receiver such that its location may be easily ascertained. The safe comprises safety features preventing unauthorized use while allowing an authorized user quick access to its contents.
Device for electronically sealing container using proximity wireless communication, and system and method for operating same
The objective of the present invention is to provide a device for electronically sealing a container using proximity wireless communication for controlling the sealing of a container door from a remote distance by applying a proximity wireless communication technique to the device for electronically sealing a container, so that unlocking a container becomes more convenient, rapid, and safer, and to provide a system and a method for operating the device for electronically sealing a container. The device for electronically sealing a container is coupled to a keychain outside of the container, so that whether the container door is open or closed can be checked in real time, and various types of information related to the container can be relayed, in real time, to a shipper or persons associated with tracking the container, thereby fundamentally eliminating the possibility of illegal opening and closing of container doors associated with existing container-locking devices, and also allowing convenient, rapid, and safe unlocking of container doors.
ANTI-TAMPERING RE-USABLE SEAL DEVICE
Disclosed are devices, systems, apparatus, methods, products, and other implementations, including a seal device that includes a housing and a controller disposed inside the housing, with the controller including at least one sensor configured to measure motion data to detect motion of the seal device, and a communication module. The seal device further includes a seal connectable to the housing, with the seal including a shell and a conductive wire connectable to the controller. The controller is configured to cause the communication module to transmit at least one signal at least in response to one of, for example: a) determination, based on the motion data measured by the at least one sensor, of movement of the seal device, and/or b) detection of structural damage to the seal.
