BICYCLE LOCKING DEVICE HAVING ABNORMAL LOCKING PREVENTION FUNCTION, AND METHOD THEREFOR
20200087951 · 2020-03-19 · ·

The present disclosure relates to a bicycle locking apparatus having an abnormal locking prevention function. The bicycle locking apparatus includes a sensor unit which measures a driving condition of a bicycle to be locked by using a plurality of sensors and outputs sensing data about the driving condition, a locking operation unit which performs a locking operation or an unlocking operation on the bicycle to be locked in response to input of a lock signal or an unlock signal, and a control unit which controls the overall operation of the bicycle locking apparatus. The control unit includes a first driving state determination unit which determines a first state of the bicycle to be locked by using sensing data of a first sensor group, a second driving state determination unit which determines a second state of the bicycle to be locked by using sensing data of a second sensor group.

Method for causing a change of operating mode

The disclosure relates to a method including the steps of: detection of a presence of an access authorization verification apparatus in surroundings of an access control apparatus by first communication means of the access control apparatus, and prompting, when the presence of the access authorisation verification apparatus in the surroundings of the access control apparatus is detected, of a change of operating mode for second communication means of the access control apparatus. In addition, the disclosure relates to an access control apparatus, a computer program, a recording apparatus, a system and a use for an access authorisation verification apparatus.

Lockout system for energy sources

A lockout system includes a hasp assembly and a plurality of tags. The hasp assembly has a back plate defining slots each sized and shaped to receive a tag. The back plate and tags each have openings that align when a tag is received in a slot. A first hasp portion on the back plate defines part of a closed loop. A longitudinal locking bar is slidable along the back plate and has notches shaped to receive ends of the tags. Moving the locking bar between an unlocked position and a locked position operates the second hasp portion between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the first and second hasp portions complete and define the closed loop, where one or more tags can be installed in slots with the first end of the tag engaging a notch to lock closed the hasp portion.

DOOR ACCESS DEVICE

Door access devices are disclosed. An example door access device includes a door handle to open a door and a fingerprint reader disposed on a rear side of the door handle to read a fingerprint from a user touching the rear side of the door handle. The fingerprint reader is obscured from view from a vantage of the user attempting to open the door.

METHOD OF CONTROLLING A VEHICLE DOOR LOCK SYSTEM

A method of controlling a vehicle includes sensing movement of an interior door handle, sensing a position of a vehicle door after movement of the interior door handle is sensed to determine if the door remains in an unopened position or if the door moves into an opened position after movement of the interior door handle is sensed. When movement of the interior door handle is sensed, a timer is started to determine if the measured time period is equal to or greater than a maximum delay time. A active or inactive state of a double door lock feature of the door lock system is determined and a control signal to automatically generated to deactivate the double door lock feature if the double door lock feature is active, the measured time period is equal to or greater than the maximum delay time, and the door is in the unopened position.

House

[PROBLEMS] Providing a house by which exhaust heat from equipment provided in a wall of the house does not adversely affect the environment in a living space, the maintenance, management, and update of the equipment can be easily performed, and crime prevention performance of an accommodating place of the equipment can be improved. [SOLUTIONS] The exhaust heat from the equipment 48 accommodated in the hollow portion 37 can be released to the second space 6 of the garage. Further, the electronic lock 45 of the door 43 for opening and closing the outdoor side opening portion 35 of the hollow portion 37 can be unlocked only for a preset time. Therefore, since unlocking is disabled except for the preset time, the maintenance, management, and update of the equipment 48 can be easily performed, and the crime prevention performance can be further improved.

A METHOD AND A HOUSING FOR STORING AND CONTROLLABLY RELEASING A PRODUCT
20240044173 · 2024-02-08 · ·

Aspects of the invention relate to a method of controllably releasing a product to a user from a housing. The housing comprises at least one compartment, and an access opening for accessing the compartment, the access opening having a locked state and an unlocked state. The method comprises locking the access opening to the container to prevent access to the product; monitoring a measurable parameter, and comparing the measurable parameter with a threshold value; determining whether to unlock the access opening by determining whether the monitored measurable parameter meets the threshold value; and either in response to determining that the access opening should be unlocked, unlocking the access opening allowing the user to access the product located within the compartment; or in response to determining that the access opening should not be unlocked, keeping the access opening locked, preventing the user from accessing the product located within the compartment.

Vending lock

A cooler and freezer access control system locks a cooler or freezer when occurrence of an event is detected that requires limiting access to the inside of the cooler or freezer. Examples of such events include the loss of power to the cooler or freezer for a predetermined period of time, the opening of the cooler or freezer door for longer than an allowed time, the loss of functionality of a temperature probe and others. In an embodiment, a service mode is supported wherein the door is left unlocked despite the occurrence of such an event, to allow a stocker or other personnel to leave the cooler or freezer door open while stocking the cooler or freezer with product.
