LATCHING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A latching system and method are configured to selectively latch and unlatch a first component in relation to a second component. The latching system and method include an actuator, a first coupler secured to the actuator, a latch, and a second coupler secured to the latch. The first coupler is configured to couple to the second coupler to couple the actuator to the latch. The first coupler is configured to uncouple from the second coupler to uncouple the actuator from the latch in response to the latch being manually operated.
User sensing exit device
One embodiment relates to an exit device assembly. The exit device assembly includes a center case, a push pad movably mounted on the center case, and a mechanical case coupled to the center case, wherein the exit device includes an opening. The assembly also includes a sensor aligned with the opening, wherein the sensor is structured to detect a user from a distance through the opening and to generate an output signal in response to detecting the user. The assembly also includes a latch and a latch actuator. The assembly also includes a controller in communication with the sensor and the latch actuator, wherein the controller is structured to transmit an actuating signal in response to receiving the output signal from the sensor, wherein the latch actuator is configured to move the latch from the locked position to the unlocked position in response to the actuating signal.
Latch arrangement
A latch arrangement for fastening a panel of a door or a window to a frame element is provided. The latch arrangement includes a locking element mounted on the frame element and displaceable between a locked position in which the locking element can be engaged with the panel locking thereby the panel to the frame element, and an unlocked position in which the locking element is disengaged from the panel unlocking thereby the panel from the frame element. An actuating mechanism, optionally including a manually operable handle, is mounted on the panel and configured to selectively engage the locking element and to displace the locking element to the unlocked position. Where a stop latch provides deadlock functionality, the panel-mounted actuating mechanism preferably sequentially releases the stop latch and then displaces the locking element.
Flush handle device for controlling vehicle door latch
A vehicle door device includes: a latch mechanism configured to be switchable between a latch state and an unlatch state; a door handle configured to be movable between a first position and a second position; a door handle projecting mechanism configured to move the door handle from the first position to the second position when a press portion provided on an outer surface of the door handle or in a peripheral portion of the outer surface of the door handle is pressed; and an electrical unlatch operation mechanism including a switch and an electric actuator, the switch being operated by the door handle or the door handle projecting mechanism when the press portion is pressed, and the electric actuator being configured so that, when the switch is operated, the electric actuator is operated to switch the latch mechanism from a latch state to an unlatch state.
Acoustic-electric remote control release hook used on water and underwater
An acoustic-electric remote control release hook used on water and underwater includes a first shell and a cylindrical framework. The cylindrical framework is fixedly connected with the first shell in a detachable mode; the first underwater transducer is remotely matched with a second water transducer which extends to the underwater through a cable, and the second water transducer is connected with a control switch through a cable. An acoustic command receiving module is arranged inside the first shell, and a power supply end of the acoustic command receiving module is connected with the power supply. A signal input end of the acoustic command receiving module is connected with the first underwater transducer through a cable and a watertight connector assembly, and a signal output end of the acoustic command receiving module is connected with the driver of the direct-current motor.
LATCH MODULE AND AN APPLIANCE USING THE SAME
A latch module incorporated with an automatic opening function and a secure lock function includes a latch, a spring that applies a force to move the latch in a first direction, a drive to move the latch in a second direction, a cam that transmits power of the drive to the latch, and first and second switches that are turned on and off by the cam. The first and second switches are in a first mode in which the two switches are turned on and the latch is disposed at a manual lock position, a second mode in which the first switch is turned on and the second switch is turned off and the latch is disposed at an opening position, a third mode in which the first switch is turned off and the second switch is turned on and the latch is in a secure lock position.
SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING DELIVERY ITEMS AND METHOD THEREFOR
A parcel-lock system and methods for securely receiving delivery items or parcels. The system has an electronically controllable parcel-lock on a door of an enclosure. The parcel lock stores one or more unlocking codes such as QR codes or barcodes. When the parcel lock receives an access code matching one of the unlocking codes, the parcel lock unlocks the door to allow the deposition of the delivery items, and starts video-recording using a front and a rear camera thereof. The parcel lock also continuously plays a beeping sound during the time the door is open.
LOCK
The invention relates to a lock including a locking mechanism having a latch that is movable between a latched position, which is provided for securing a counter-piece movable relative to the locking mechanism, and an unlatched position provided for releasing the counter-piece, and having an actuation element for manually moving the latch into the unlatched position. The lock furthermore includes a coupling element that can be transferred between a coupled state, in which it is coupled to the latch, and a decoupled state, in which it is movable relative to the latch, and that can be moved from a passive position into an active position by means of the actuation element, wherein the latch can be moved into the unlatched position by a movement of the coupling element, which is in the coupled state, from the passive position into the active position by the actuation element.
DOOR LOCK WITH AUTHENTICATION MODULE
A system for a door includes a door lock having a handle assembly and a lock. The lock is movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. An authentication module is mounted to the door lock at a position offset from a surface of the door. The authentication module is operably coupled to the lock.
LOCK
A lock comprising a housing, a plunger, a locking member, a locking plate, and a control assembly. The housing having an internal cavity, a recess, and a bore. The plunger is disposed in the bore and is slidable between a closed position wherein a second end of the plunger is positioned in the internal cavity and an intermediate portion of the plunger extends across the recess, and an open position wherein the plunger is withdrawn from the internal cavity and the recess. The locking member is movable between a locking position wherein the locking member is engaged with the plunger and an unlocking position wherein the locking member is disengaged therefrom. The control assembly operates the locking plate between a lock position to hold the locking member in the locking position and an unlock position to permit the plunger to move from the closed position to the open position.
