The electronic security tag further includes a locking member to lock the connecting member to the tag body member. The locking member includes a clutch mechanism movable along a second axis parallel to the first axis between a first position in contact with the pin portion and corresponding to a locked state and a second position corresponding to an unlocked state. The clutch mechanism including at least one member formed from a non-ferromagnetic material.
Lighted door jamb for an access door
An illumination system is provided for an access door may include an elongated illumination housing configured to be coupled to at least one of an upstanding jamb and a corresponding jamb casing extending along the one side of the access door, an elongated light transmissive cover coupled to the illumination housing, an elongated light pipe received within the illumination housing, an illumination source housing operatively coupled to one end of the light pipe, an illumination source disposed within the illumination source housing and configured to produce and transmit visible light into the light pipe so as to be visible through the light transmissive cover, a source of electrical power, and a control unit configured to selectively apply electrical power from the source of electrical power to the illumination source to produce the visible light.
DOOR ASSEMBLY WITH RECHARGEABLE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY FOR INTEGRATED ELECTRIC DEVICES AND METHODS THEREOF
Aspects of the present disclosure describe a rechargeable door that includes at least one internal rechargeable battery and at least one further DC component powered by such rechargeable battery, wherein the at least one internal rechargeable battery is configured to be recharged via a physical connection, such as wired connections, or other contacts such as magnetic contacts or pogo pins or spring contacts, in the door via a second rechargeable battery or via wireless recharging, for example magnetic inductive or resonance charging, via placement of the second rechargeable battery on or within the door.
Electronic lock without active power source, electronic device having the electronic lock, and method of operating the electronic lock thereof
The disclosure provides an electronic lock without an active power source, an electronic lock system, and a method of operating the electronic lock. According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic lock includes a WPR which receives wireless electrical power to provide power for the electronic lock; a circuit board electrically connected to the WPR and including a wireless transceiver which receives a lock command or an unlock command; and a controller configured to generate a lock control signal or an unlock control signal in response to receiving the lock command or an unlock command; and an actuator electrically connected to the circuit board and receives the lock control signal to lock a mechanical lock component or the unlock control signal to unlock the mechanical lock component.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR LOCKING CHARGING, FUELING, OR SERVICE FLAPS
A locking device enables locking a charging, fueling, or service flap on a compartment. The flap is reversibly movable between a closed position and an open position. The locking device includes a flap lock for locking the flap in its closed position. The flap lock has a locking position, in which the flap lock locks the flap, and a release position in which the flap is moveable in relation to the flap lock. A first transfer shaft is connected to the flap lock such that the flap lock is moveable by a movement of the first transfer shaft between the locking position and the release position. A pushing element is connected to the first transfer shaft and configured so as to push the flap out of its closed position away from the charging compartment after the flap lock is transferred into its release position.
OUTDOOR CHAISE LOUNGE WITH INTEGRATED LOCK-BOX TO SECURE VALUABLES
An outdoor chaise lounge may include a frame, multiple legs coupled to and extending below the frame to support the frame, a seat member coupled to the frame to enable a user to sit or lay on the seat member, a lock-box fixedly supported by the frame that enables a user of the outdoor chaise lounge to store and lock items therein. The lock-box may include a lock-box door inclusive of a user interface that enables a user to lock and unlock the lock-box. A door member may be coupled to the seat member and have a closed position and an open position such that when said door member is in the open position, the user has access to the user interface on the lock-box door.
ELECTRONIC LOCK SYSTEM, METHOD PERFORMED USING ELECTRONIC LOCK SYSTEM, PORTABLE TERMINAL, METHOD PERFORMED USING PORTABLE TERMINAL, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
To suppress costs when an electronic lock is used, when key information held by an electronic lock and a server is “K//n” (“n” is an integer), key information “K//n” and new key information “K//n+1” are supplied from a server to a portable terminal of a user who wants to unlock the electronic lock. The key information and new key information are transferred from the portable terminal to the electronic lock, and when the key information transferred from the portable terminal to the electronic lock matches the key information recorded in the electronic lock, the electronic lock is unlocked. When the key information expires, the key information recorded in both the electronic lock and the server are overwritten with “K//n+1.”
