Systems and methods for locking device management including time delay policies using random time delays
A locking device employs improved lock management techniques based on time delay polices that use a random period of time. The locking device receives a first credential of a custodian, validates the first credential and determines a random period of time based upon a time-delay policy when the first credential is validated. The locking device executes a lock release protocol upon expiration of the random period of time.
SHIELDED ELECTRONIC LOCK BOX
Systems and methods are disclosed for maintaining security and data gathering for a number of vehicles. The systems include a vehicle activity module for each of the vehicles. The vehicle activity module has a wireless transmitter, a storage device, at least one sensor for receiving event information from identification devices, such as RFID cards, keypads, magnetic ID cards, and the like, a releasable key container, and a processor for accessing and analyzing information. The VAMs are wirelessly connected to a computer system. The VAMs control access to the keys, monitor information relating to access, and store and transmit information relating to sales events, non-sales events, and intrusion events. The VAMs are capable of autonomous operation, without the need to access the computer system to verify event information. The VAMs further include signal attenuating mechanisms to facilitate use of “smart keys.”
MOBILE DEVICE FOR SAFE, SECURE, AND ACCURATE DELIVERY OF ITEMS
Embodiments of a system and method for using a mobile device to assist with the efficient and secure delivery of item. The mobile device can assist an item deliver to lock or unlock secure item delivery receptacles. The mobile device can also notify an item deliverer about particular delivery conditions associated with particular delivery endpoints. The mobile device can further help the item deliverer to determine whether or not he or she is delivering the item to the correct location.
Locking device with embedded circuit board
Electrified access-control technology devices for a door, particularly electrified locks for a door, having embedded circuitry therein, and methods of making the same. One or more printed circuit boards (PCBs) having various electronic circuitry are secured inside a housing that encases an access-control device, particularly a lock, for a door. The one or more PCB(s) may be embedded on an internal surface of the housing such that the embedded PCB resides inside the housing along with the lock itself. The embedded PCB(s) avoid interference of both any working components of the lock inside the housing and any openings residing in the housing.
Door lock and arrangement for transferring power and information to door lock
Lock arrangement including a counterpart of the lock and a lock with a lock case. The lock case, which can be installed in a door, includes a locking latch and a latch mechanism, which includes an electrical device for opening and/or closing the locking latch. The counterpart of the lock can be installed in the frame of the door. A device for wirelessly sending electrical power to the lock case and/or into connection with the lock case is arranged in the counterpart of the lock; a mechanism is arranged in connection with the lock case for wirelessly receiving electrical power from the device for sending electrical power that is arranged in connection with the counterpart of the lock. Electrical power is arranged to be transmitted from the device for sending electrical power to the mechanism for receiving electrical power, when the lock case and the counterpart of the lock are at a certain distance from each other. The mechanism for receiving and device for sending electrical power are also arranged to transfer encrypted information relating to the operation of the lock.
INTELLIGENT DOOR LOCK SYSTEM WITH NOTIFICATION TO USER REGARDING BATTERY STATUS
An intelligent door lock system provides notification of energy source status. A position sensing device is configured to be coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device. The position sensing device sensing position of the drive shaft assists in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device. An engine with a memory is provided, with the engine coupled to the positioning sensing device, and a circuit coupled to the engine. An energy source is coupled to the circuit. A server is associated with the intelligent door lock system and provides notification of energy source status.
LOW-POWER-CONSUMPTION INTELLIGENT ELECTRIC LOCK MECHANISM
A low-power-consumption intelligent electric lock mechanism includes a lock case, a lock-cylinder housing, a motor, a strike plate, a first reset spring, a central rod, a spiral propulsion structure and a holding block. The lock case is fixed within a door frame, the lock case and a lock inner housing form a chamber for accommodating the lock-cylinder housing, two ends of the central rod are respectively fixed to two side walls of the lock-cylinder housing, one end of the first reset spring is fixed within the strike plate, another end of the first reset spring is held against an inner wall of the lock-cylinder housing, one end of the spiral propulsion structure is mechanically connected with the motor, another end of the spiral propulsion structure is connected with the holding block, a top portion of the holding block is held against a bottom portion of the strike plate.
VIDEO RECORDING TRIGGERED BY A SMART LOCK DEVICE
An intelligent door lock system coupled to a door at a dwelling. a door status device is at the dwelling. The door status device is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device at the door. The lock device is coupled to the door status device and includes a bolt. An engine, an energy source and a memory are coupled together. A camera is coupled to or part of the intelligent door lock system. The camera is configured to record in response to door lock status.
Door lock system coupled to an image capture device
A wireless access system at a building is provided. A door lock system includes: a lock status device configured to be coupled to the drive shaft of a lock device, the lock status device assisting in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device. A processor is coupled to the door lock system. An image capture device at the building is configured to be in communication with the door lock system and capture an image of an object in the vicinity of the building.
