The drop-down door is congruent with a floor panel of the safe, forming a continuous working area. Within the drop-down door, there is a concealed document pocket. The drop-down door is substantially flush with a pair of side walls and a ceiling wall when closed. A spring plunger pushes the door open when the lock is disengaged. The safe has a back-lit shelf within an interior chamber. The safe is secured to the shelf by a bottom lock assembly with rotatable mounting plate concealed by the floor panel of the safe. In one example embodiment, the door is secured by a locking mechanism with a plurality of rotating pins.

Door lock bolt plate pivot system, and associated structures and methods

Disclosed are embodiments of a tapered bolt receiver for a door lock to accommodate misalignment, between a deadbolt mounted to a door, and an opposing jamb. The tapered bolt receiver can be configured to accommodate misalignment for a deadbolt having a non-tapered bolt, such as for an electromechanical smart lock having a battery stored within a battery compartment that is integrated with an enhanced bolt. Also disclosed are embodiments of a deadbolt plate pivot assembly that is pivotably mountable to a corresponding deadbolt assembly to define a plate pivot system, to accommodate a beveled door edge. An illustrative embodiment of the deadbolt plate pivot assembly includes opposing plate that captures a hinge assembly, which can include plastic plate hinges, which serve to locate the deadbolt plate pivot assembly with respect to a corresponding bolt housing, and can provide a spring force and/or constant torque when mounted to a beveled door.

A redundant actuation lock apparatus includes an interface, an electronic mechanism, and a manual mechanism. The interface manipulates lock bar(s) into a locked/unlocked position. The electronic mechanism includes an actuator and power drive. The actuator is disengageably coupled to and drives the interface. The power drive is coupled to and drives the actuator in response to a control signal. The manual mechanism includes a key input and an output. The key input receives and rotates with a mechanical key. The output disengageably couples to the interface and rotates with the mechanical key. The actuator is engaged with and the output is disengaged from the interface in an electronic mode, while the actuator is disengaged from and the output is engaged with the interface in a manual mode.

High-strength Security Lock Cylinder

This invention discloses a high strength security lock cylinder. The lock cylinder includes a front lock housing, a front lock plug, a rear lock housing, a rear lock plug, a horizontal bar, and a lock cam. The front and rear lock plugs are connected with the lock cam and can drive the lock cam to rotate. An electronic locking mechanism is placed inside the front lock plug. The rear lock plug is connected with an axel, which is connected with a knob that contains a digital control board and an electrical power source. A signal transmission channel is formed along the horizontal bar for transmitting signals between the electronic locking mechanism and the digital control board. The lock cylinder is flexible, strong, and resistant to drilling and lock picking and it can be digitally controlled. This reduces the security risks caused by misplacement or unauthorized use of keys.

Integrated mechanical lock and motorized lock mechanism

A locking mechanism is selectively operable both electronically and mechanically by way of an integrated mechanical lock and motorized lock mechanism. A motorized lock mechanism is incorporated with a mechanical lock to provide for keyless access, while the mechanical lock and key system remains as a back-up. A toggle assembly is selectively positioned either mechanically via a first cam, or electronically via a second cam, both selectively operable independently of each other, without interference from each other, to move the toggle assembly to its unlocked position. A spring biases the toggle assembly to its locked position when the first and second cams are in their locked positions.

The lock assembly includes an electric actuator operable to move a locking lug between first and second axial positions to correspond with a locked and unlocked configuration of the lock assembly. The object of the invention is to provide an electronic padlock (1), by means of which the chance of erroneous opening of the electronic padlock is reduced. The electronic padlock according to the invention comprises a body (2) and a shackle (3). The body has latch parts (4), a cam piece (5) and an electronic actuator (6). The electronic actuator (6) comprises a pivot shaft (7), which is arranged to turn the cam piece (5) to release the latch parts (4) from a locking state, and also to turn the cam piece (5) to hold the latch parts in the locking state. In the locking state, the latch parts (4) prevent the shackle (2) from being moved to open the electronic padlock (1). Between the electronic actuator (6) and cam piece (5) there is a blocking mechanism (8). The blocking mechanism connects the pivot shaft (7) of the electronic actuator (6) functionally to the cam piece (5) to turn it with the electronic actuator (6) and prevent any other turning of the cam piece (5) in relation to the body (2).
