DOOR-LOCK CONTROL METHOD
A door-lock control method adopted by a door-lock device and a computer program is present. The method comprises: broadcasting a connecting message in a WPAN at the door-lock device; controlling a mobile device to establish a connection with the door-lock device via the WPAN when receiving the connecting message at the computer program; sending an unlocking command via the connection at the computer; and unlocking a door-lock thereon when receiving the unlocking command at the door-lock device. This application can omit the operations which the householder needs to do manually on the mobile device or the door-lock device, and effectively improves the convenience of use and reduces the waiting time of completing unlocking the door-lock.
Exit device systems and methods
An exit device according to one embodiment includes a plurality of sensors and an electronic dogging mechanism. The exit device is configured to locally analyze sensor data to determine the security state of the exit device, report data to a management system via a wireless communication channel established between the exit device and the management system, and receive and process instructions to perform an electronic dogging operation.
Module and an attachment system
An attachment system for a door or window, the attachment system being configured to sense a condition of a door or window, the attachment system including: a securing member configured to be mounted to a frame member of the door or window; and a module, configured to be coupled to a frame member by attachment to the securing member, the module including a sensor to sense the condition of the door or window, and the securing member including a resiliently biased clip configured to retain the module in attachment to the securing member selectively, wherein the securing member is configured space the module from at least part of the frame member such that the sensor is positioned to sense the condition of the door or window.
