Intelligent door lock system with manual operation and push notification
An intelligent door lock system is provided with a push notification. A sensor is configured to be coupled to a drive shaft of a lock. The position sensing device senses position of the drive shaft to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock. An engine with a memory is coupled to the positioning sensing device. The engine and an energy source are coupled to the circuit. A push notification is provided to a dwelling user when a lock of the intelligent door lock system is manually opened.
Deadbolt and passage lock adapter
A system that includes a lock adapter assembly configured to be installed on a door. The lock adapter includes a motor assembly comprising a motor configured to provide a rotational force, one or more cords configured to convert the rotation force from the motor into a linear force, a deadbolt lock actuator configured to match to an existing torque blade of a deadbolt lock mounted in the door, a passage lock actuator configured to match to an existing torque blade of a passage lock mounted in the door, and one or more latch spool configured to transfer the linear force from the one or more cords to the deadbolt lock actuator, the passage lock actuator, or combination thereof.
Intelligent door lock system retrofitted to existing door lock mechanism
A wireless access control system is provided to lock or unlock a first door at a dwelling of a user. A user remote access device accepts input based on haptic feedback or motion. The user remote access device is configured to be in communication with an intelligent door lock system at a dwelling with a door and associated lock. The intelligent door lock system includes: a position sensing device coupled to a drive shaft, with the position sensing device sensing position of the drive shaft and configured to assist in locking and unlocking the lock, an engine with a memory coupled to the positioning sensing device and the drive shaft, and an energy source configured to provide electrical energy. When the user remote access device is at an exterior of the dwelling, and in a close proximity to the dwelling, in response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion, the bolt is caused to move and the first lock is locked or unlocked. The user remote access device is configured to be in communication with a second lock at a vehicle of the user or at an office of the user. In response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion the second lock is locked or unlocked. The remote access device has a controller for using haptic motion to lock or unlock locks.
Intelligent door lock system retrofitted to exisiting door lock mechanism
A wireless access control system is provided to lock or unlock a first door at a dwelling of a user. A user remote access device transmits a first signal and a second signal. The user remote access device is configured to be in communication with an intelligent door lock system at a dwelling with a door and associated lock. The intelligent door lock system includes a position sensing device coupled to a drive shaft, with the position sensing device sensing position of the drive shaft and configured to assist in locking and unlocking the lock, an engine with a memory coupled to the positioning sensing device and the drive shaft, and an energy source configured to provide electrical energy. When the user remote access device is at an exterior of the dwelling and in a close proximity to the dwelling, the drive shaft is caused to rotate by the engine and the energy source to provide an unlocking of the door when the door is in a locked state. The user remote access device is configured to be coupled to a second lock at a vehicle of the user or at an office of the user. The second lock has one or more wireless communication devices configured to receive the second signal causing the second lock to lock or be unlocked. The remote access device has a controller for generating the first and second signals. The controller generates the first and second signals in response to an action taken by user relative to the remote access device.
Exit device rod adjustment
A latching device may include an actuator configured to actuate between an actuated state and an unactuated state, a first rod including a threaded end, and a first rod coupler operatively coupled to the actuator and the first rod and configured to transfer force between the actuator and the first rod. The first rod coupler may include a rod receptacle configured to rotate about a first axis and to at least partially receive and engaged the first rod. The first rod coupler may also include a rod adjuster rotatably coupled to the rod receptacle and configured to rotate about a second axis to rotate the rod receptacle about the first axis. The rotation of the rod receptacle may change the position of the first rod relative to the actuator.
Intelligent door lock system for use with a door assembly
An intelligent door lock system that permits both electronic and manual control of a deadbolt. The door lock system can include an inner bezel assembly, an outer bezel assembly, and a deadbolt assembly, where the deadbolt assembly can be coupled to the outer bezel assembly via a twist-lock feature. The inner bezel assembly also includes a puck assembly that seats within an inner bezel. The puck assembly can be retained within or released from the inner bezel via a latch assembly. The outer bezel assembly includes a display assembly that seats within an outer bezel. The outer bezel is coupled to a motor chassis assembly that includes a motor and gear assembly having a series of gears that translate movement of dial elements or a motor into movement of a bolt element between locked and unlocked positions.
