MULTIPOINT DOOR LOCK SYSTEM
A multipoint door lock system comprises a door frame having a bolt opening and a secondary opening. A latch takes an activable position when the door is opened and a pre-armed position when the door is closed. A door-locking tip of the latch protrudes from the secondary opening of the door frame and into a secondary bore of the door when the door is closed. A transfer block moves from an inactive position to an active position upon insertion the deadbolt in the bolt opening. A biasing element causes a displacement of a translating member when the transfer block moves to the active position in the absence of a force sufficient to cause a compression of the biasing element. This action of the translating member locks the latch in its pre-armed position within the secondary bore.
TEMPORARY STRIKE PLATE WITH LOCKING FEATURES
A door locking apparatus is provided which includes an integrated plate having a strike plate adjoined to an extension, and a lock coupled to a flexible elongate member. The strike plate includes an aperture and fastener holes, and is configured such that it securely affixes to the recess of a door frame when the door is open. The extension is shaped to protrude from the surrounding frame when the strike plate is installed to the frame. The elongate member extends from the extension and is of sufficient length to wrap around a door handle when the door is closed. The lock can pass through the elongate member and an intermediate portion thereof passes through the lock, or, through an opening in the extension such that the door cannot be opened without unlocking the lock and removing it from the elongate member when the elongate member is wrapped around the handle.
POWER DOOR PRESENTER WITH LATCHING FEATURE
A power door presenter system for pivoting a vehicle door relative to a vehicle body between a closed position and a partially open deployed position includes a presenter assembly mounted to one of the vehicle body and the vehicle door with an auxiliary striker fixed to the other one of the vehicle body and the vehicle door. The presenter assembly has an extensible member configured for movement between retracted and extended positions corresponding to the closed and deployed positions and an auxiliary latch mechanism movable between latched engagement with the auxiliary striker when the vehicle door is indicated as not being under manual control of a user to allow automated return of the vehicle door to the closed position and unlatched engagement from the auxiliary striker when the vehicle door is indicated as being under manual control of the user to allow the door to be moved to a fully opened position.
Roll-door integrated locking solution
A lock for overhead roll doors and particularly a retrofit lock that enables both manual and remote wireless locking and unlocking of a roll door. More specifically, a roll door lock having an interior plate with a cylinder lock aperture, a motorhead gear coupled to a motor and rotationally secured within the housing, and a controller functionally coupled to the motor, wherein the controller may be commanded to operate the motor to lock the roll door lock by causing a blocking coupler edge to reduce the diameter of a ball-pin aperture, and unlock the roll door lock by withdrawing the blocking coupler edge.
Door locking device for locking a vehicle door
Disclosed is a door locking device for manually/physically locking a vehicle door from inside a vehicle, especially a cab door of a truck, comprising a housing including locking members movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. A first lever arm is partly rotatable connected to the housing and a second lever arm is partly rotatable connected to the other end of the first lever arms. A first spring is striving to keep the first lever arm onto or in the housing and a second spring is striving to keep the second lever arm against or in level with the first lever arm and/or in the housing. The second lever arm is provided with a recess by which the first and second lever arms may be pulled out, operated, from their folded position on/in the housing and/or door, by the user/driver, and hooked on/around a rigid locking element/handle.
The presenter assembly has an extensible member configured for movement between retracted and extended positions corresponding to the closed and deployed positions and an auxiliary latch mechanism moveable between latched engagement with the auxiliary striker when the vehicle door is indicated as not being under manual control of a user to allow automated return of the vehicle door to the closed position and unlatched engagement from the auxiliary striker when the vehicle door is indicated as being under manual control of the user to allow the door to be moved to a fully opened position.
Locking Device to Prevent Opening of a Door/Doors
A locking device intended to prevent opening of a door/doors includes a body (2), which is capable of being coupled immovably to a door handle and prevents opening of a door/doors. The body is provided with a coupling arrangement adjustable with adjustment elements for locking the handle against an external surface of the door by being propped immovably on a vertical frame member of the door or on a handle of the adjacent door.
Dual lock system
The dual lock system can have a primary lock having a first bolt, a first external access control interface, a handle on an internal face of the door, a first mechanism to control the retraction of the first bolt based on either one of the first external access control interface and the handle, the first mechanism having an actuator which is moveable vertically in response to the activation of the handle; a secondary lock having a second bolt, a second external access control interface, a second mechanism to control the retraction of the second bolt based on the second external access control interface, the second mechanism having a rotary shaft linked to the retraction of the second bolt; a connecting element connected to transfer the vertical movement of the actuator to a rotary movement of the rotary shaft, wherein both the first bolt and the second bolt are retracted upon activation of the handle.
Hook bolt for door lock
A hook bolt for a latch assembly includes a hook that deploys laterally from a deadbolt when the deadbolt is moved to an extended position. When the deadbolt is actuated, the hook automatically deploys perpendicular to the deadbolt movement to an engaged position within a corresponding opening in a door jamb to secure the door.
Door security device
A door security device may restrict movement of a swinging door. The security device may include first and second door members and a connecting member. The first and second door members may be mounted to first and second door panels, respectively. The first and second door members include first and second slots, respectively. The connecting member has first end with a shape configured to mate with the first and second slots to permit the first end to slide into the first and second slots such that the connecting member extends out of the first slot and the second slot through openings in the first outer face and the second outer face.
