Locks configured to deter cylinder removal
10876321 · 2020-12-29 ·

Certain embodiments described herein are directed to locks that include one or more cylinder members effective to deter removal of a lock cylinder. In some configurations, the cylinder member is configured to engage a circumferential surface of the lock cylinder to deter removal of the lock cylinder on circumferential rotation of the lock cylinder. In other instances, the cylinder member is configured to etch the lock cylinder upon circumferential rotation of the lock cylinder.

Deadbolt securing assembly
10865587 · 2020-12-15 ·

A deadbolt securing assembly includes a restraint that has a rounded portion being positionable around a stem of a doorknob on a door. The restraint has a rhombus portion that is spaced from the rounded portion. The rhombus portion is positionable around a deadbolt knob on the door when the rounded portion is positioned around the stem of the doorknob. Thus, the restraint inhibits the deadbolt knob from being rotated when the restraint is positioned between the doorknob and the deadbolt knob. In this way the restraint inhibits the door from being unlocked with a key. A doorknob pad is coupled to the rounded portion of the restraint to frictionally engage the stem of the doorknob. A deadbolt pad is coupled to the rhombus portion of the restraint to frictionally engage the deadbolt knob.

Locking devices for pegboard hooks, slatwall hooks, and crossbar hooks

Locking devices for pegboard hooks, slatwall hooks, and crossbar hooks are provided. In one aspect, locking devices are provided for preventing a pegboard hook from being removed form a pegboard. In another aspect, locking devices are provided for preventing a slatwall hook from being removed form a slatwall. In another aspect, locking devices are provided for preventing a crossbar hook from being removed form a crossbar.

MULTIPOINT LOCK ASSEMBLY FOR A SWINGING DOOR PANEL
20200347644 · 2020-11-05 · ·

A multipoint lock assembly for a swinging door panel includes a mortise housing that is installed in a mortise along the non-hinged edge of the door panel. A latch operating mechanism and a lock operating mechanism are disposed in the mortise housing. Each of these mechanisms is designed to be operated with a standard rotary operator such as a handle or knob for the latch operating mechanism and a key and/or thumb turn for the lock operating mechanism. The latch operating mechanism is transitionable between left- and right-hand orientations and includes a deadlatch feature that prevents forced back-drive. Turning the key and or thumb turn of the lock operating mechanism extends a deadbolt and extends upper and lower shoot bolts from edges of the door. When extended, the shoot bolts also are secured against forced back-drive by unique mechanism configurations.

Actuator assembly for locking device

The invention relates to the technical field of locks and discloses an actuator assembly of a combination lock. The actuator assembly includes a fixed motor, a drive shaft fixed to the axis of the motor, a cylindrical spring sheathed on the drive shaft and displaceable axially, a pin installed onto the drive shaft which may screw within two adjacent loops of the cylindrical spring, and a casing installed coaxially with the motor. The casing includes a cavity for accommodating the cylindrical spring, and a second sliding groove formed on the casing, and both ends of the cylindrical spring have a retaining ring extended outwardly from the outer periphery of the cylindrical spring and the retaining ring disposed at the second sliding groove for preventing the rotation of the cylindrical spring.

Swing bolt lock

A swing bolt lock includes a swing post, a cam dog, and an electric device cooperative with a lock bolt. The electric device includes a motor, a slider connected to a rotating shaft of the motor. Without an unlock authorization, the slider is situated in the space at an end of a sliding slot and abutted against the cam dog to prevent the cam dog from moving towards the space at the end of the sliding slot, so as to prevent the lock bolt from entering into the lock housing. With an unlock authorization, the slider is driven by the motor and released from the abutment of the cam dog, and the cam dog is driven by the lock bolt and swing post to enter into the space at the end of the sliding slot so as to release the locking of the lock bolt from turning into the lock housing.

Tubular lock for push locking
11913250 · 2024-02-27 · ·

A tubular lock for push locking has a lock housing, a switching handle mounted in a front end portion of the lock housing, an upper pin seat and a lower pin seat mounted in the lock housing and the switching handle, and multiple pin assemblies and a core shaft mounted in the upper pin seat and the lower pin seat. A key is only needed when unlocking the tubular lock, and then the tubular lock can be locked by pushing the core shaft. The tubular lock can be used to latch a pivotal mechanism. When the tubular lock is in an unlocking state, the user can switch the latch to the locking angular position or an unlocking angular position by turning the switching handle without using the key. Therefore, flexibility and convenience in using the tubular lock can be efficiently improved.
