LOCKING MECHANISM
A locking mechanism for a door has a lever that is mounted on the door that can be rotated on the door to enable the door to be opened or closed. A first disc, located on the door, is triggered by moving the lever. A shaft is located on the door in contact with the first disc and moves along an extension direction when the first disc is triggered. A slot is located on the body in the direction that the shaft extends, and into which the shaft is inserted in a removable way. The locking mechanism has an open position (I) in which the shaft is located far from the slot and the door can be opened by the user and a lock position (II) that limits the movement of the door, in which the shaft is almost completely contained in the slot.
COLLINEAR LATCH AND LOCK
A collinear latching and locking system is disclosed. In embodiments, the system includes a strike with a lock bolt disposed at or defined by an end of the strike. The system further includes a latch pawl configured to surround at least a portion of the strike. The strike and the latch pawl are configured to actuate linearly along the same axis. In this regard, the strike and the latch pawl have a collinear configuration and actuation path. The system further includes a latch cam configured to actuate the latch pawl from a latched position to an unlatched position when the latch cam is turned.
Refrigerator
Provided is a refrigerator including a body including a storage space; and a door configured to open or close the storage space, wherein the door includes a first door rotatably connected to the body by a hinge; a second door provided to be rotatable with respect to the first door; a magnetic member provided at the body; and a locking device provided at the first door and configured to interact with the magnetic member, wherein the first door and the second door are unlocked in a state where the first door is closed, and the first door and the second door are locked in a state where the first door is opened.
DRAWER LOCK ASSEMBLIES
A drawer lock assembly is provided including a housing having a front face and a rear face; a barrel having a first end extending perpendicularly from the front face of the housing and a second end extending through the rear face of the housing; a locking actuation member disposed through the first end of the barrel; a driver disposed through the second end of the barrel to engage the locking actuation member; a bolt including a first member offset from a second member in a parallel relationship, the first member includes a slot configured to receive a cam of the driver; and an endplate configured to retain the driver and bolt in the housing, the endplate including a channel configured to receive the second member of the bolt, wherein upon actuation of the locking actuation member, the second member extends beyond the housing to engage a recess of a structure.
Household appliance with a safety device to prevent the exit of cloths and related safety device
The present invention concerns a household appliance (1), such as a washing machine and the like, comprising a chassis (11), a drum (12), for containing clothes (P), said drum (12) being contained in said chassis (11) and accessible through an opening (13), and a door (2), hinged to said chassis (11), for closing said opening (13), characterized in that it comprises a safety device (3) arranged to interact with said door (2) and configured to interrupt the operation of said household appliance (1) in case of said clothes (P) contained in said drum (12) exert a stress on said door (2) exceeding a safety threshold. The present invention also relates to a safety device (3) to prevent the exit of clothes (P) from a household appliance (1).
Deadbolt lock
A deadbolt lock includes a positioning member mounted to a lock part. A protective member includes a recess formed in one side thereof and is mounted to the lock part and the positioning member. A covered area is formed between the positioning member and the protective member. At least one fixing member is connected to the positioning member and located within the covered area. An outer cover is mounted to the protective member and the positioning member. The at least one fixing member is compact in size to reinforce the protective member to reduce manufacturing cost. The protective member and the outer cover are not damaged by impact from outside of the deadbolt lock to enhance safety features of the deadbolt lock.
CLUTCH FOR DOOR LOCK
In some embodiments, a clutch for a door lock may include an output gear including a plurality of inner detents and a lag plate rotatable relative to the output gear and configured to generate friction when the lag plate rotates. The clutch may also include an input cam configured to be coupled to an output shaft of an actuator, where the input cam is configured to switch between an engaged state and a disengaged state. The clutch may also include a ball bearing configured to engage one of the plurality of inner detents when the input cam is in the engaged state. The ball bearing may also be configured to disengage from the plurality of inner detents under frictional force generated by the lag plate when the input cam is in the disengaged state and the output gear is rotated by an external force.
DEADBOLT ASSEMBLY FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY SECURING CO-MOUNTED DOORS TOGETHER AND ACTUATING AT LEAST ONE DEADBOLT
A deadbolt assembly for securing co-mounted doors together and activating at least one deadbolt may include at least a first retention component and a first actuator interface mounted to or defined by a first coupling assembly of a key-side assembly operatively mounted to one of the co-mounted doors, and at least a second retention component and a second actuator interface mounted to or defined by a second coupling assembly of a lever-side assembly operatively mounted to the other of the co-mounted doors, at least one of the key-side assembly and the lever-side assembly including a deadbolt assembly having a deadbolt configured to be responsive to actuation thereof to extend a deadbolt therefrom, wherein actuation of the deadbolt assembly also causes the first and second retention components to secure the first and second coupling assemblies to one another.
REVERSIBLE DOOR LOCK WITH STATUS INDICATOR
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a reversible door lock having a status indicator. For example, a door lock according to the present disclosure may include an escutcheon plate having a window through which an indication of the door status (e.g., locked or unlocked) may be viewed. The door status may be indicated through the window via a status indicator ring that turns as the lock transitions from one state to another via an actuator (e.g., a thumbturn). Moreover, the lock may include a drive wheel operatively coupled to the actuator and the status indicator ring such that the drive wheel moves the status indicator ring as the actuator is moved. The drive wheel may be capable of moving between a first orientation and a second orientation relative to the status indicator ring such that the door lock operates in a first direction (e.g., a right-hand direction) when the drive wheel is in the first orientation and in a second direction (e.g., a left-hand direction) when the drive wheel is in the second orientation.
