DOOR LOCK SYSTEM WITH ONE OR MORE VIRTUAL FENCES
An intelligent door lock system is coupled to a door at a dwelling. A sensor is at the dwelling. The sensor is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device at the door. The lock device is coupled to the sensor and includes a bolt. An engine, an energy source and a memory are coupled together. A camera is coupled to or part of the intelligent door lock system. The camera is configured to define a safe zone in the dwelling in which an occupant, and a non dwelling occupant third person is allowed into the dwelling.
LOCK ASSEMBLY
A lock assembly, comprising: a drive hub configured to be rotated in a first angular direction; a latch having a latch engaged position; a lock having a locked position; a first locking member configured such that, when the lock is in the locked position, the first locking member retains the latch in the latch engaged position; and a second locking member configured such that, when the lock is in the locked position, the second locking member prevents the drive hub from rotating in the first angular direction.
Electrical alarm and methods of making and using the alarm
A security tag including: a housing and circuitry which detects a locked state, the circuitry configured to execute a signal transfer function responsive to interchanging a pin and a lanyard in the circuitry, and/or the housing including a replaceable battery compartment locked by inserting either the pin or the lanyard into a lock mechanism which differently secures the pin and the lanyard; and an alarm, in communication with the circuitry, triggered by an undisarmed breach of the locked state.
Lock system
A lock system for controlling access, for example to a room or building, is disclosed. The lock system comprises a bolt module in which control of the bolt can be configured differently on the two sides of a leaf or door. Control of the bolt module may be provided by various locking modules, which are also disclosed herein. The bolt module is reversible for left handed or right handed operation. In one embodiment the bolt module comprises: a bolt moveable between a thrown position and a retracted position; and a first rotor assembly capable of accepting a drive element, the first rotor assembly arranged to drive the bolt. The bolt module may also comprise a second rotor assembly. The bolt module may comprise an anti-thrust member obstructing driving back of the bolt under action of an external force on the bolt. The bolt module may comprise a lockable cover.
ANTI-THEFT DEVICE FOR DOOR LOCKS
The anti-theft device is configured in a door lock, and contains a first blocking piece, a second blocking device, a positioning piece, and a lever. The first blocking piece contains a first section and a second section bended and extended perpendicularly from the first section. The first section has a first through hole and a second through hole. The lever is engaged by a lock heart of the door lock. When the door lock is locked, the lock heart is turned to engage the lever so that the lever drives the first blocking piece downward by its first through hole. The second section of the first blocking piece as such blocks a lock tongue of the door lock so that the door lock cannot be opened without using key.
VIDEO RECORDING TRIGGERED BY A SMART LOCK DEVICE
An intelligent door lock system coupled to a door at a dwelling. a door status device is at the dwelling. The door status device is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device at the door. The lock device is coupled to the door status device and includes a bolt. An engine, an energy source and a memory are coupled together. A camera is coupled to or part of the intelligent door lock system. The camera is configured to record in response to door lock status.
Method for operating a door and components related to the same
A method of operating a door system includes sensing a user on an exterior side of a door panel in physical propinquity to the lock such that the lock transitions from a sleep state to an active state, authenticating the user when the lock is in the active state before converting the lock from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration, and converting the lock from the locked configuration to the unlocked configuration in response to transition to the active state. Authenticating the user includes receiving an authentication signal from a remote device on the user in physical propinquity to the to the lock.
MODULAR CYLINDRICAL LOCKSET
An exemplary product line system includes a common platform and a plurality of component families, each of which includes a plurality of interchangeable component species configured for use with the common platform. The common platform includes an inside drive assembly and a chassis assembly including a chassis and an outside drive assembly. A lockset assembled from the system includes the common platform and a plurality of modular components. Each of the modular components corresponds to a respective one of the component families, and is provided as a selected species of the corresponding component family. The lockset has a function defined by the set of component species installed to the lockset. The function of the lockset can be changed by altering the set of component species installed to the lockset without disassembling the chassis assembly.
DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY WITH WIRELESS OVERLOCK
A door latch assembly includes a housing; a bolt configured to the extend from the housing in a first direction and retract into the housing in a second direction; a handle connected to the bolt; a lockable, blocking member configured to prevent movement of the bolt; a controller configured to place the door latch assembly into an overlock mode; an actuator in communication with the controller, the actuator configured to prevent movement of the bolt in the overlock mode.
MULTIFUNCTION HUB CORE FOR MORTISE LOCK AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A multifunction hub core for a mortise lock comprises a mortise lock body having a deadbolt operable by a first control member on the outside of a door and a second control member on the inside of the door, and a deadbolt arm with slots for receiving a hub core. The deadbolt arm is rotatable inside the mortise lock body to move the deadbolt between retracted and projected positions. The hub core disposed in the deadbolt arm comprises projections allowing it to fit in the deadbolt arm slots in one of two positions. The first position allows the second control member to move the deadbolt between retracted and projected positions and is known as the standard function. The second position allows the second control member to retract the deadbolt from a projected position, but cannot project the deadbolt from a retracted position, and is known as the classroom function.
