Electrical Alarm and Methods of Making and Using the Alarm
A security tag including: a housing and circuitry which detects a locked state, the circuitry configured to execute a signal transfer function responsive to interchanging a pin and a lanyard in the circuitry, and/or the housing including a replaceable battery compartment locked by inserting either the pin or the lanyard into a lock mechanism which differently secures the pin and the lanyard; and an alarm, in communication with the circuitry, triggered by an undisarmed breach of the locked state.
Electric strike
An electric strike having two keepers arranged to pivot about respective shafts extending in a longitudinal direction, a lock lever for locking the keepers in a door-locking position, the lock lever being arranged to pivot about a second shaft extending in a direction that is transverse to the longitudinal direction and parallel to the backside of the strike; and an actuation mechanism for actuating the lock lever. The keepers form side walls of a bolt cavity and are arranged to pivot between a door-locking position and a door-releasing position. Therefore, the bolt may exit the cavity in two directions, e.g., a first direction for a left-handed closure member and a second direction for a right-handed closure member. The strike can thus be mounted in the same orientation for both left-handed and right-handed closure members.
Privacy lock mechanism
A lock device that prevents operation of at least one chassis spindle from retracting a latch bolt, and which may provide auto-unlock features. Locking of the lock device can effectuate linear displacement of a slider body from an unlocked position to a locked position. Linear displacement of the slider body is translated into rotational displacement of a cam body that includes, or is coupled to, a locking shaft having a cam protrusion, thereby rotating the cam protrusion. As the cam protrusion rotates, the cam protrusion lifts a locking lug to a locked position wherein the locking lug prevents rotational displacement of a first chassis spindle. When in the locked position, a slider arm of the slider body can be positioned in a retention slot. Subsequent rotable displacement of a second chassis spindle can effectuate displacement of the slider arm from the retention slot and facilitate unlocking of the lock device.
Door lock mortise
Provided is a door lock mortise. The door lock mortise includes a structure in which a latch fixing member moves between a latch operating member and a latch cover member when a dead bolt is locked or unlocked. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the door lock mortise including the latch fixing member to have a structural characteristic capable of addressing a problem in that a latch bolt may be moved when the dead bolt is unlocked to release a door lock so that an impact is transmitted only to the dead bolt in a state in which the dead bolt is not unlocked and durability is reduced is disclosed.
Electric strike
An electric strike having a keeper arranged to pivot about a shaft extending in a longitudinal direction, a lock lever for locking the keeper in a door-locking position, the lock lever being arranged to pivot about a second shaft extending in a direction that is transverse to the longitudinal direction and parallel to the backside of the strike; and an actuation mechanism for actuating the lock lever. The strike is provided with a bearing element arranged to bear against the lock lever. The bearing element acts as a stop against possible lateral motions of the lock lever. Such motions may be induced by trying to force open the door lock when the lock lever is in the locking position. By providing the bearing element, it is avoided that the forces due to these lateral motions are exerted onto the second shaft that connects the lock lever to the strike.
METHODS OF OPERATING A LOCK
A method of controlling a lock mechanism of an active door includes transiting an access controller of the lock mechanism to an authorized access mode and transitioning the access controller from the authorized access mode to an entry mode. Transitioning the access controller to the authorized access mode is in response to an authorized user being sensed approaching the active door from an exterior side of the active door or in response to input on a remote device. In the authorized access mode, an exterior handle of the active door is decoupled from a main latch of the lock mechanism. Transitioning the access controller to the entry mode is in response to sensed contact with the exterior handle. In the entry mode, the exterior handle is capable of rotating to transition the access controller to an unlocked mode in which the exterior handle is operably coupled to the main latch.
Dispenser assembly
A dispenser includes a front panel and a body coupled to the front panel to form an interior cavity. The body includes a wall portion having a top portion. An opening is formed through the top portion, and a housing includes a first housing wall and a second housing wall that each extend from the top portion adjacent the opening and into the interior cavity. The first and second housing walls include first and second rails, respectively, which are coplanar and extend from the respective first and second housing walls in opposing directions relative to each other.
Collinear latch and lock
A collinear latching and locking system is disclosed. In embodiments, the system includes a strike with a lock bolt disposed at or defined by an end of the strike. The system further includes a latch pawl configured to surround at least a portion of the strike. The strike and the latch pawl are configured to actuate linearly along the same axis. In this regard, the strike and the latch pawl have a collinear configuration and actuation path. The system further includes a latch cam configured to actuate the latch pawl from a latched position to an unlatched position when the latch cam is turned.
Push-and-pull latch device
The disclosure relates to a push-and-pull latch device including a housing, a latching component, a first elastic component, an inner-sleeve assembly, an inner-shaft component, a second elastic component and a third elastic component. The first elastic component abuts the latching component. The latching component engages an object through the housing. The inner-sleeve assembly is accommodated within the housing. The inner-shaft component is partially accommodated within the inner-sleeve assembly. The second elastic component is abutted between the inner-shaft component and the inner-sleeve assembly. The third elastic component includes a fixed portion connected to the inner-shaft component and an engaging end engaged with a guide groove of the inner-sleeve assembly. By driving the inner-shaft component to move the engaging end relative to the guide groove or move the inner-sleeve assembly relative to the housing, the relative positions between the components can be switched to provide the functions of opening and closing.
Video recording triggered by a smart lock device
An intelligent door lock system coupled to a door at a dwelling. a door status device is at the dwelling. The door status device is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device at the door. The lock device is coupled to the door status device and includes a bolt. An engine, an energy source and a memory are coupled together. A camera is coupled to or part of the intelligent door lock system. The camera is configured to record in response to door lock status.
