ADJUSTABLE BACKSET LATCH
An adjustable latch configured to accommodate different backset lengths. The adjustable latch includes inner and outer housings, at least a portion of the inner housing being structured for axial and rotational displacement within the outer housing as an engagement projection of the inner housing is displaced about an adjustment slot of the outer housing. The apparatus may include a bolt assembly having a bolt rod and a latch bar, the bolt rod having projections that are structured to be adjacent to the latch bar when the bolt rod is at a first rotational position and at first or second axial positions. When the bolt rod is at a second rotational position, the axial positions of the bolt rod and the inner housing relative to at least the latch bar and outer housing, respectively, may be adjusted to adjust the backset setting of the latch.

Lock devices, systems and methods
Disclosed are various embodiments of lock devices, systems, and methods. A lock of the application can include an internal mechanism to permit backdriven operation and lost motion operation. In one form the lock can be made from an assembly of parts that have locating features that require one way installation/assembly. The lock can include an internal power source capable of driving electronics used to determine handedness of a door.
DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY
A door latch assembly includes two receptacles and latchbolts mounted to a door panel, two actuating levers connected to the latchbolts, a base support attached the door panel, a sliding member slidably attached to the base support, two cranks attached to the base support and engaged with the sliding member, two couplers attached to the base support and coupled to the cranks, two seats attached to the couplers, and two adjusting devices each include one end threaded with the seat and another end threaded with the actuating lever and for allowing the actuating levers to be moved and adjusted relative to the seats with the adjusting device.
Encapsulated bearing block design for adjustable hook latch
A latch mechanism includes a hook body having a hook body load bearing plate; a hook mechanism, the hook mechanism having a hook with a threaded shaft, the shaft defining a longitudinal axis with respect to the hook body; an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust an axial position of the hook with respect to the hook body; and a bearing block, the bearing block having a block load bearing plate disposed between the adjustment mechanism and the hook body load bearing plate, the bearing block including a first boss configured for engagement with the adjustment mechanism, a second boss configured for engagement with the hook body plate aperture, an inner diameter hole that allows the hook shaft threads to engage with the adjustment mechanism but provides suitable clearance within the second boss inner diameter to prevent the hook shaft threads from bearing out as required in Aerospace design.
DOOR LATCH
A latch assembly that is adjustable between first and second backset settings. A cam is rotatable about a cam axis, and facilitates linear displacement of a latch link in a first direction. A multiplier link is rotatable about a multiplier link axis that is offset from the cam axis can be rotated in the first rotational direction by engagement with the latch link. A latch bar is coupled to the multiplier link and is linearly displaced in a second direction by rotation of the multiplier link in the first direction. The latch apparatus also includes a latch bolt that is coupled to the latch bar, the latch bolt being displaced toward a retracted position by the displacement of the latch bar in the second direction. The latch assembly can also include a dead latch link can block retraction of at least the latch bolt.
