Cylinder and control component
20210180361 · 2021-06-17 ·

The present invention discloses a cylinder and a control component and relates to the field of locks, comprising two mirror-symmetric cylinder mechanisms which jointly drive a latchbolt control ring. The present invention enables equal operations on both sides of a door, and that the separate operation on both sides of the door does not interfere with each other. Furthermore, only one cylinder is required, which simplifies the structure and a single motor realizes a not-interfered alternating output on both sides of the door.

LOCK AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING A LOCK CONFIGURATION
20210189769 · 2021-06-24 ·

A lock including a housing having an aperture sized to receive a lock cylinder, and lock componentry positioned within the housing and being adjustable to alter a configuration of the lock, and wherein the lock cylinder is removable from the housing to expose the aperture to provide access to the lock componentry which may be adjusted to set the configuration of the lock. A method is also provided for adjusting a configuration of a lock, including removing a lock cylinder from an aperture in a lock housing to expose the aperture and provide access to lock componentry within the lock housing, adjusting the lock componentry in the lock housing via access provided by the aperture to permit alteration of a configuration of the lock, setting the configuration of the lock via the adjusting of the lock componentry, and reinserting the lock cylinder into the aperture in the lock housing.

Security lock for door
11015376 · 2021-05-25 ·

A security lock for a door is provided having a bracket on the interior side of the door with a locking bolt mounted in the bracket. The bolt is adapted for movement between a raised, unlocked position above a cavity on the floor below the bracket and a lowered, locked position where the bolt is in the cavity to prevent the door from being opened. A bolt restraint is mounted on the bracket and cooperates with the bracket to maintain the bolt in its unlocked position. The bolt restraint, for example, a spring-loaded ball that engages an annular recess in the bolt, releases the bolt into its locked position when a downward force is applied to the bolt. The locking bolt has an enlarged flange that stops movement of the bolt into the cavity beyond a predetermined location on the bolt.
