Soft barrier
The present soft barrier includes sheeting and a frame. The frame includes longitudinal and lateral support members. The sheeting is in a relaxed state when the lateral support members are in a retracted state. The sheeting is in a taut state when the lateral support members are in an extended fixed state. The sheeting may be in either the relaxed state or taut state when the longitudinal support members are in a retracted state or an extended state. A first adjustment mechanism for increasing or decreasing the longitudinal length of the barrier is a quick slide mechanism. A second adjustment mechanism for finely increasing or finely decreasing the longitudinal length of the barrier is a rotatable mechanism.
AUTOMATED GATE FOR ROBOTIC MOWERS
An automated gate for robotic mowers may include at least one door that may be sized to receive a robotic mower, and it can be installed in any fence to enable the mower to move between the yards on its own. The at least one door of an automated gate may provide optional capability to lock when not used by the mower and unlock automatically when the mower gets close. By default, the at least one door may remain unlocked, yet closed, thereby providing a cost-effective solution for customers who do not have to worry about pets. An add-on module may be provided that may add a locking mechanism and triggering mechanism, thereby providing end users with the ability to lock the automated gate completely.
Gated barrier with lift lock
The present lift lock is employed on a gate that is swingable and liftable on a first axis. In a first position the lift lock is on the first axis and in a blocking position that prevents the gate from being lifted relative to a barrier having the gate. The lift lock is slideable away from the first position on the axis to a second position away from the axis where the lift lock is in an unblocking position, thereby permitting the gate to be lifted on the axis. The lift lock snaps into and out of the second position.
KEYLESS GATE LOCK APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A keyless gate lock apparatus and system. The keyless gate lock apparatus and system of the present disclosure may comprise a lock assembly comprising a housing configured to be coupled to a first surface of a gate or a fence, a lock plate configured to be coupled to a second surface of the gate or the fence, and a lock bar comprising an elongated body extending from a first end to a second end. The lock assembly may comprise an electronic lock assembly configured to establish a wireless data transfer interface with a mobile electronic device and selectively actuate at least one locking mechanism to unlock the lock bar from the lock assembly in response to authorizing an access request from the mobile electronic device.
Gate having four pins and stairway post adapter
A gate apparatus that includes a gate, an elongate member or gate base for the ends of the gate, and a stairway post adapter such that a wooden stairway post can serve as a base for a gate without harming the wood of the stairway post. The stairway post adapter includes a vertical or longitudinally running channel for receiving the gate base, a horizontally or laterally extending channel for receiving a strap, and a recess or receptor or face for confronting a section of a stairway post. The gate base includes an upper and lower eyelet. Each of the ends of the gate includes upper and lower pins for engaging the upper and lower eyelets of the gate bases. On the hinge side of the gate, the pins are relatively long and remain in the eyelets as the gate is lifted and swung. On the latch side of the gate, the pins are relatively short such that that latch side of the gate can be lifted and disengaged from the eyelets and then swung open. The gate is extendable and retractable in length, and is reversible.
Wireless smart lock systems
Systems and methods for providing a wireless lock system include a locking device wherein the locking device comprises a retractable bolt and a wireless communication transceiver. The systems and methods can also include a bolt catch that is configured to couple with the retractable bolt, wherein, when coupled, the bolt and locking device are locked into a static position relative to the bolt catch. A keypad programmable with a plurality of combination buttons and a wireless communication transceiver can be configured to communicate with the bridge wirelessly. The bolt then protrudes from the locking device to couple with the bolt catch and decouples from the bolt catch and recedes into the locking device in response to one or more wireless signals received from a wireless device. A wireless communication bridge device may also be utilized to provide additional wireless communication links to further devices to expand user reach and interoperability.
GATE ASSEMBLY EMPLOYING A DUAL ACTUATOR LATCHING MECHANISM
A gate assembly including a pivoting gate element secured to a doorway and/or passageway and employing a dual actuator latching mechanism having a simple yet unique locking lever and pawl mechanism for remote and manual latch release freeing the gate to swing to an open position, and automatic re-locking of the latching mechanism. The gate assembly includes a frame element for supporting the pivoting gate element and securing the gate to a doorway and/or passageway as well as latching the gate to a closed position at the frame element.
Hands free gate
The present gate includes a barrier frame and a gate in the barrier frame. The gate is opened by inserting a foot into a foot opening in the gate, which action compresses springs disposed about pivot pins between the gate and the barrier frame and draws an extended latch downwardly and out of a latch receiver that is bottomless, which action unlatches and frees the gate from the barrier frame such that the gate can be swung open. Downward travel of the gate is minimized until a foot pushes a pivoting stop out of the way.
GATE LATCH ASSEMBLY
A latch assembly includes a rose, a handle rotatably coupled to the rose and rotatable around a rotation axis, and a latch. A biasing member is disposed within the rose and engaged with the latch. The biasing member being selectively connectable to the rose. When the biasing member is connected to the rose, the latch is pivotable around the rotation axis between a latched position and an unlatched position via the handle. The latch biased towards the latched position. When the biasing member is disconnected from the rose, the handle and the latch are rotatable together around the rotation axis between at least a left-handed configuration and a right-handed configuration. The biasing member connecting to the rose to secure the handle and the latch in either the left-handed configuration or the right-handed configuration.
Gate
A gate may generally include a gatepost and a plurality of rails pivotally connected to the gatepost and having a plurality of posts hingedly attached to at least one of the plurality of rails. The gate may include a lift system having a translating device in communication with a sprocket, wherein the lift system provides an adjustable force to rotate the plurality of rails from a horizontal position to an upward position. The adjustable force may be provided by a turnbuckle. The gate may include a ground anchor system that allows axial rotation of the plurality of rails about a longitudinal axis of the gatepost.
