11739565 · 2023-08-29 · ·

Latch assemblies to secure a door, drawer, or other enclosure are disclosed. An assembly may include a latch and a catch. A latch arm is bendable to transition between an engaging position and a disengaged position. The latch may include a curved flexible support to provide a desired resistance to bending of the latch arm, and the flexible support may be vertically separated from the latch arm. The latch may be made of a unitary piece.

MAGNETIC SAFETY GATE LATCH

A magnetic safety gate latch assembly and method of operation. The assembly includes: a pool latch tube, a user-actuated lid coupled to the top end of the pool latch tube; a rotatable shaft within the pool latch tube, an upper end of the shaft rigidly coupled to the lid, and a lower end of the shaft including a shaped base. The assembly further includes a magnet housing that at least partially encloses the shaped base and includes an aperture to cooperatively engage with the shaped base. The assembly further includes a bottom cover coupled to the lower end of the pool latch tube and enclosing the magnet housing, the bottom cover including an aperture facing a latch pin housing, the aperture positioned to expose a magnet. The assembly further includes a ferromagnetic latch pin and housing, and a magnetic latch pin guide slidably enclosing the latch pin.

Knob assembly with free-spinning ring

An exemplary knob assembly includes a knob having a circumferential channel, and a deformable ring seated in the circumferential channel. The ring is normally rotatable relative to the knob such that rotation of the ring does not cause a corresponding rotation of the knob. When gripped with a sufficient gripping force, the ring frictionally engages and rotationally couples with the knob, thereby permitting transmission of torque between the ring and the knob. In certain embodiments, the knob assembly may include a detent mechanism operable to selectively couple the ring and the knob. In certain embodiments, the ring may include protrusions operable to engage pockets in the knob to provide for rotational coupling.

LOCKING DEVICE AND FOOD PROCESSOR

A locking device and a food processor. The locking device includes a cover plate; an unlocking mechanism including an unlocking key and an unlocking portion connected to the unlocking key. The unlocking portion is disposed in the cover plate and can move in the length direction of the cover plate. A disabling mechanism includes a blocking portion and an actuating portion, wherein the blocking portion can be clamped to the unlocking portion to block the movement of the unlocking portion in the length direction, and the actuating portion is in linkage with the blocking portion in such a mode that the blocking portion moves away from or close to the unlocking portion. After the disabling mechanism is started, a user does not need to press the unlocking key again when needing to open the door.

Safety lock device

The present utility model discloses a safety lock device including a first lock body and a second lock body. The first lock body is provided with a movable member, a first action member and a second action member. The second action member and the first action member are operated sequentially to enable the movable member to act to unlock. The first action member or the second action member is operated individually that cannot achieve the unlocking. The unlocking of the safety lock device is completed only by fitting the two moving members with each other, thereby solving the problems of the easy unlocking by children and the potential safety hazards.

A playpen door, including a door frame; a door body movably mounted on the door frame; and a detection assembly mounted on the door frame and the door body and configured to detect open or closed state of the door body. The door body is hinged to the door frame. A locking assembly is arranged between the door body and the door frame. The locking assembly may be opened by a switch. The detection assembly is mounted away from a position where the door body is hinged to the door frame. When the door body rotates relative to the door frame, the detection assembly may be triggered, at which time the door body may be sensed to be open. When the door body returns to the closed position again after opening, the detection assembly may be triggered, at which time the door body may be sensed to be closed.

Push and slide gate handle

The present gate handle includes a push button that is pushed before the gate handle is slid from a closed position to an open position on top of a support member. The support member includes a resilient button that extends into the gate handle and is pushable out of the gate handle by the push button. The support member further includes side slots that are engaged by side slides extending from the handle.

Keeper apparatus to maintain gate in plane with frame

A keeper apparatus engaged to the lower free end swinging corner portion of a gate, not to either of the upper and lower corner portions having the axis on which the gate swings, and not to the upper free end swinging corner portion where the gate has a main latch. The keeper apparatus joins the shortened ends of a horizontal gate support member and a vertical gate support member where, prior to engaging the keeper apparatus on the shortened ends, such intentionally manufactured shortened ends are free and spaced from each other.
