Barrier Access for Autonomous Vehicle
Access control for an autonomous vehicle through a door in a doorway. A magnet is attached to the autonomous vehicle and a magnetometer is located some distance from the doorway. The magnetometer outputs a magnetometer signal in response to detecting the magnet, which causes the transmitter to transmit a detection signal. A doorway device is fixed about the doorway, and includes a receiver, and a locking mechanism with a locking pin. The doorway device retracts the pin to unlock the door for a predetermined period of time in response to receipt of the detection signal, and extents the pin to lock the door after the predetermined period of time ends.
Ground Wire Guidance System for Robotic Vehicle with Doorway Access
A ground wire guidance system for guiding a robotic vehicle through a doorway in a barrier. The system includes a ground wire loop arranged to pass though the doorway in two directions. Plural wires are switched as the loop passes through the doorway such that the pairs of wires conducting are spaced apart, or shielded, such that the robotic vehicle can reliably navigate through a relatively narrow doorway, while one of the wires passes through a central portion of the doorway.
Smart locker
A smart locker includes electronics to operate a user interface, including a keypad, and to receive user commands via the keypad to lock or unlock the smart locker with an electronic lock. The smart locker also receives primary input power and provides direct charging power and wireless charging power for charging electronic devices. The smart locker also is capable of receiving secondary input power to operate the electronic lock in the absence of the primary input power.
Garage door locking apparatus
A garage door locking system that includes a single actuator locking box that integrates with existing garage door openers to form a system that is easy to install and that can not only open and close the garage door, but provide a sequential locking/unlocking function. The actuator utilizes a rack and pinion gear that moves the locking bar in a horizontal position to lock or unlock. A lighted indication LED extends from the system to the outside of the garage door so that the locked state of the door can be seen from the outside. The actuator box utilizes LED lights that light up to show proper alignment of the magnet mounted on the track Specialized clips both tie down the power cords from the actuator box and provide a magnetic activation that indicates to the CPU to move the bar to lock and also indicate the door position at all times.
Rolling door lock
A rolling door lock for a roll-up door, and more particularly a roll-up door that includes a latching handle assembly fitted to the exterior surface of a roll-up door. The latching handle assembly includes a handle and a hook. The rolling door lock attaches to the hook and handle of the latching handle assembly to prevent forced opening of the roll-up door. The rolling door lock includes a main body and a detachable bracket. The main body includes a hook securing portion and a pocket. The pocket includes a slot. During normal use the hook securing portion of the rolling door lock secures the hook of the latching handle assembly, and the detachable bracket secures the handle of the latching handle assembly. The lock mechanism locks the detachable bracket with the handle secured therein to the pocket.
Latching handle assembly door guard
A door guard for use with a latching handle assembly is disclosed. The door guard is configured to use the handle of the latching handle assembly in combination with components of the door guard to protect a pin that fits through a hole in the handle and into a lock of the door guard.
Garage door opener system and method of operating a garage door opener system
A garage door opener system having a garage door opener and a remote input device electrically connected to the garage door opener by an electrical conductor. The remote input device receives power by the electrical conductor. The remote input device includes a device controller to communicate an event message, monitor for an acknowledgement message within a time period, and repeat the event message when the acknowledgement message is not received within a time period. The garage door opener includes a master controller. The master controller receives the event message and communicates the acknowledgement message in response to receiving the event message. Also disclosed is a method of operating the garage door opener system.
Padlock retaining device
A padlock retaining device having: a) a stand-alone body, separate from any locking device or latching device, the body having one or more body attachment facilitators and b) a lock containment section attached to and extending away from the body for accepting and retaining an open padlock.
ROLL-UP DOOR LOCK
Aspects disclosed herein relate to roll-up door locks for roll-up doors. Roll-up door locks may comprise a latch configured to be moved between a latched and an unlatched position as well as a blocker configured to be moved between a blocking and an unblocking position such that in the blocking position, movement of the latch is restricted by the blocker. An electromechancial actuator may be coupled to the blocker to move the blocker between the blocking and unblocking positions. An authentication device may be implemented in the roll-up door lock to validate a credential associated with a user and to in turn send commands to the actuator to move the blocker between the blocking and unblocking positions. In some embodiments, the roll-up door lock may be powered through the use of inductive coupling from a remote device.
Cargo trailer access door security barrier
The present invention is a cargo trailer security apparatus for use with a cargo trailer or similar container having rear entry outward swing or roll-up doors. The security apparatus creates a barrier to entry into the interior cargo space through the rear doors when the trailer is backed against the apparatus. The apparatus includes a base assembly with a bollard, a support assembly having a vertical central post and two parallel barrier mounted on the central post, and a door handle and latch block.
