Compartmented Refrigeration System
A compartmented refrigeration system is provided. The compartmented refrigeration system has a housing with an access door. The housing further includes a refrigeration system that can adjustably reduce the temperature in the housing's interior volume. The refrigeration system includes a compressor, a plurality of condenser coils, at least one expansion valve, a plurality of evaporator coils, and a refrigerant that can travel through the various components. A refrigeration controller is disposed in the housing interior volume to enable a user to adjust the temperature therein. A plurality of compartments is disposed in the housing interior volume. Each of the compartments are in thermal communication with the refrigeration system and further comprise a compartment access door. The compartment access door further includes a lock that a user can use to secure the individual compartment.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEFROST LIGHTING IN REFRIGERATED CASES
A refrigerated display case includes sidewalls, doors, shelves, a cooling system, a cooling coil defrost system, product defrost lights, and a controller. The sidewalls and doors may define an inner volume of the refrigerated display case. The shelves are positioned within the inner volume of the refrigerated display case, are fixedly coupled with at least one of the sidewalls, and are configured to support a product. The cooling system provides cooling to the inner volume of the refrigerated display case and may include a cooling coil. The cooling coil defrost system provides defrost heating to the cooling coil. Each of the product defrost lights are oriented towards a corresponding one of the shelves. The product defrost lights are configured to emit radiative heating for defrosting the product. The controller is operably coupled with the cooling system, the cooling coil defrost system, and the product defrost lights.
Appliance lock assembly
An appliance lock assembly is provided which allows conversion of a residential or static structure-type appliance having at least one door or drawer to be utilized in a mobile structure, such as a recreational vehicle (RV), boat or other mobile environment wherein the at least one door or drawer should be locked to inhibit unintentional opening during mobile operations and scattering of contents from within the appliance. The lock assembly comprises a lock bar which is disposed between a handle and a front surface of an appliance door. The lock bar pivots between an unlocked position, and a locked position wherein the lock bar engages a striker.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes an opening unit such that, when a second door rotates to open a second storing chamber, the second door is separated from a first door. The opening unit includes: a latch hook to be selectively inserted into a latch slot on the front surface of the first door; a pressing portion provided on a door handle of the second door, the pressing portion comprising a guide protrusion having a sloping surface; and a link portion having a contact portion on one end to contact the sloping surface and move upward/downward along the sloping surface, the other end of the link portion contacting the latch hook. When the pressing portion is pressed, the contact portion moves upward along the sloping surface, and the other end of the link portion pushes the latch hook upward with the contact portion to separate the latch hook from the latch slot.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet that defines a storage chamber, an upper door that is configured to open and close an upper portion of the storage chamber by being drawn in and out, a lower door that is positioned below the upper door and that is configured to open and close a lower portion of the storage chamber by being drawn in and out, an upper door restriction unit that is configured to selectively restrict the upper door from being opened, and a lower door restriction unit that is configured to selectively restrict the lower door from being opened. The upper door restriction unit is configured, based on the lower door being opened, to restrict the upper door from opening, and the lower door restriction unit is configured, based on the upper door being opened, to restrict the lower door from opening.
Powered latching apparatus
An apparatus for latching a door having a latching member; a retention cam wherein the retention cam further comprises an extended face and is rotatable about its axis; a spring; a locking member; an actuator; a push out member; and a driving member; wherein the actuator drives the driving member to remove the locking member from contact with the retention cam and the driving member drives the push out member to push the latching member away from the retention cam. The apparatus is capable of assisting both in the latching and unlatching of the device.
REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A refrigerator and a control method therefor are provided. When a user input is received, an upper drawer of the refrigerator is opened by operating an opening/closing motor of the upper drawer, and it is determined whether opening of a lower drawer is detected by an open/close detecting part of the lower drawer when the upper drawer is opened. The lower drawer is closed by operating the opening/closing motor of the lower drawer when the opening of the lower drawer is detected.
SECURE INVENTORY ACCESS AND CONTROL MECHANISM
Secure medication storage is described herein. A smart latch includes an actuator, a communication interface, a display, and a processor. The actuator is configured to open and close a latch to secure a door of the enclosure. The processor can be configured to receive a user credential for accessing the enclosure, validate the user credential for accessing the enclosure, trigger the actuator to open the latch, thereby allowing the door to be opened, and trigger the actuator to close the latch after detecting that the door is closed, thereby securing the door.
REFRIGERATOR AND DOOR LOCK FOR REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator has a door lock. The refrigerator further includes a main body having a storage compartment, a first door, and a second door. The first door is disposed in front of the main body to open or close the storage compartment, and the first door has an opening. The second door is configured to open or close the opening from a front of the first door. The refrigerator includes the door lock configured to lock the two doors. The door lock includes a hook member mounted to one of the first and second doors, and a locking unit mounted to the other one of the first and second doors to restrain or release the hook member. The refrigerator has an anti-unlocking device, the anti-unlocking device is triggered when the first door hits the main body due to being closed, to prevent the locking unit from releasing the hook member.
DOOR LOCK WITH IDENTIFICATION VERIFICATION SYSTEM
The system of the present invention is comprises of one or more door lock units, a data exchange system, and a clerk user interface. The door lock units are mounted to the cooler doors and prevent the doors from opening to allow access to the alcoholic products without authorization. These door lock units include a mechanical locking mechanism, an identification scanner/reader, and a display. The door lock units receives power from a power supply (with a back up power supply standing ready) and communicates wired or wirelessly with a data server and router combination. The data server and router combination also communicates with a clerk user interface, which may be in the form of a tablet, smart phone, laptop, or other computing device.
