Device and methods for preventing unwanted access to a locked enclosure
A device for preventing unwanted opening of a locked enclosure includes a lock bolt moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. A face gear is meshable with and rotatable by the worm gear between locking and unlocking positions when the worm gear is driven in the first and second directions, respectively. A blocker member is rotatable between first and second positions. A biasing member is operatively coupled to the face gear and the blocker member to bias the blocker member in a biasing direction. A sliding member selectively disengages the blocker member to allow the blocker member to rotate in the biasing direction. A lever arm is operatively coupled to the sliding member such that the lever arm is in the disengaged and engageable positions when the sliding member engages the blocker member in the first and second positions, respectively.
DISPENSING CABINET WITH EMERGENCY RELEASE
A dispensing cabinet may include a security panel and a plunger having a disengaged position and an engaged position. The plunger may be secured in the disengaged position by the security panel. The security panel may be released in order to transition the plunger from the disengaged position to the engaged position. The dispensing cabinet may further include a lever configured to interface with the plunger and one or more latch assemblies. The lever may shift upwards in response to the plunger being transitioned from the disengaged position to the engaged position. An upward motion of the lever may release the one or more latch assemblies by rotating, to a limit, a cam bracket included in each of the one or more latch assemblies. The dispensing cabinet may be unlocked by the release of the one or more latch assemblies.
SAFE WITH BIOMETRIC LOCK MECHANISM
A safe for the storage of a valuable, such as a firearm. The safe has an imaging system that is used to scan a portion of a human in the near infrared spectrum to image blood vessels and determine if the image matches a stored image and thereafter effect unlocking of the safe. A manual override lock system is provided to manually effect unlocking of the safe.
LOCK WITH SERVICEABLE KEYPAD
An attachment system for a locking system mounted to a closure is provided. A baseplate is fastenable to a mounting surface of the closure, the baseplate including at least one circumferential cutout having an engagement feature, and a locking feature on a surface of the baseplate. A housing has at least one protrusion insertable into the at least one circumferential cutout and is rotatably engageable with the engagement feature to selectively prevent the housing from being withdrawn from the baseplate in a direction normal to the mounting surface. A locking device is disposed inside the housing and is accessible from outside the housing through a cutout defined in at least one of the housing and the baseplate, the locking device operable to rotatably lock and unlock the housing to the baseplate.
Safe
A safe for mounting on a shelf with a drop-down door that provides a work surface to sort a safe's contents. The drop-down door is congruent with a floor panel of the safe, forming a continuous working area. Within the drop-down door, there is a concealed document pocket. The drop-down door is substantially flush with a pair of side walls and a ceiling wall when closed. A spring plunger pushes the door open when the lock is disengaged. The safe has a back-lit shelf within an interior chamber. The safe is secured to the shelf by a bottom lock assembly with rotatable mounting plate concealed by the floor panel of the safe. In one example embodiment, the door is secured by a locking mechanism with a plurality of rotating pins.
Safe and lock detection system
Systems and methods to indicate whether a safe is locked or unlocked.
MULTI-FACTOR SAFE LOCK
A multi-factor safe locking system for use in firearm storage, wherein the factors comprise a user's provided key, a user's biometric data, and a user's provided code. In some embodiments, the multi-factor safe locking system requires the near-simultaneous entry of two users, or dual consent of the two users to enter at least two unique keys, at least one form of biometric data from each user, and at least two unique codes, wherein each user supplies their own unique code to access the safe's contents. In further embodiments, a safe locking system includes a further factor of a result from a blood alcohol test.
Lock
The lock according to the invention is meant for locking cabinets, vaults and different machines. The lock has a lock frame, which comprises a bolt. A lock cylinder has been arranged in connection with the lock frame. The lock frame further comprises a power transmission mechanism between the lock cylinder and the bolt. The power transmission mechanism comprises a transmission lever and a latch. The transmission lever additionally comprises a retaining protrusion. The bolt comprises a locking pin and the lock frame additionally comprises a hole for the locking pin. The lock is arranged to allow movement of the lock cylinder and the power transmission mechanism in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the lock cylinder due to an external hit or drilling of the lock cylinder, whereby the movement in the direction of the longitudinal axis moves the retaining protrusion away from the locking pin. Thus, the end of the locking pin moves into the hole in the frame.
Locking Device for a Lock
A locking device for a lock including a box and a cover, such that the device can be isolated, which box includes therein a motor, a worm screw connected to the shaft of the motor, a locking shaft which is capable of sliding through a hole towards the outside of the box, and an elastic element with two ends, connecting the locking shaft with the worm screw, wherein one end of the elastic element is securely connected to the locking shaft and the other end is inserted between two threads of the worm screw such that, upon activating the motor, the worm screw rotates, moving the elastic element in order to drive the locking shaft, which transitions from being retracted to being extended and viceversa.
ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCKS AND RELATED METHODS
A dial ring assembly for an electromechanical combination lock includes a housing configured to be mounted on an exterior of a securable enclosure, a dial rotatably disposed on the housing, the dial being rotatable about a dial axis for use in connection with entry of a combination, a lever rotatably disposed on the housing, the lever being rotatable about a lever axis, an external generator disposed in the housing, the external generator being configured to generate electrical energy through rotation of an external generator shaft of the external generator, and a gear train disposed in the housing and operatively connecting the dial, the lever, and the external generator shaft such that rotation of the dial rotates the external generator shaft to produce electrical energy and rotation of the lever rotates the external generator shaft to produce electrical energy.
