A fixation device for limiting a gap between a first construction component and a second construction component relative to which the first construction component is movable has first and second fitting parts attached to the first and second construction components, respectively. The first fitting part has a fixation projection with first end and opposed second end. The first end is pivotable about a fixation axis fixed at the first construction component. The fixation projection is pretensioned so as to pivot the second end away from the first construction component. The second fitting part has a guiding surface and a holding element. Fixation projection and guiding surface interact such that, when the construction parts are moved toward each other, the second end glides along the guiding surface toward the holding element and catches therein. A folding device of construction components is provided with such fixation devices.

A lock knob attachment includes an attachment portion configured to be attached to a lock bar that is configured to lock a door by sliding in a first direction, and a main body portion configured to be coupled to the attachment portion and configured to extend from the attachment portion to a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. When a direction perpendicular to both the first direction and the second direction is defined as a third direction, a length of the main body portion in a direction along the third direction is greater than a length of the attachment portion in a direction along the third direction.

Device for preventing access to an area of an aircraft

A device for preventing access to an area of an aircraft includes a first vertical frame post designed for attachment to a structure of the aircraft, a second vertical frame post designed for attachment to a structure of the aircraft, a barrier element displaceably connected to the first frame post and including a latching element for detachable connection of the barrier element to the second frame post, and a delay unit including a spring-loaded damping cylinder displaceable into a damping position by a locking movement in opposition to a spring force. The delay unit is designed to release the latching element after a time delay.

Post for two section folding closure and folding closure using same

A female locking post for the free end of a folding closure section, with an inner side for connecting the post to the free end, and an outer side opposite the inner side. Two opposed connecting walls connect the inner and outer sides together. An interior wall, spaced from both the inner and outer sides, extends between the connecting walls. A post opening, preferably extending the length of the post, is provided in the outer side between the connecting walls providing access to the interior wall. An operator with a lock bolt is movably mounted on the interior wall, the operator movable along the interior wall between an unlocked position where the lock bolt is within the post and a locked position where the lock bolt projects from an end of the post. A folding closure incorporating the female post is also described.

An apparatus including a receiving channel and a locking clip for securing a folding door in a closed configuration. The receiving channel is mounted to a side of a door frame associated with a closed configuration of the folding door. The locking clip is mounted to the leading edge of the folding door. The locking clip includes sides that extend past sides of the leading edge of the folding door so as to create a ledge on each side thereof. The receiving channel includes cleats on inner walls thereof. The cleats engage the ledges to secure the locking clip within the receiving channel in a closed configuration. The locking clip may be mounted to a center of the leading edge. The receiving channel may traverse substantially the height of the door frame.

BI-FOLD DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY AND FLOOR ANCHOR ASSEMBLY

A bi-fold door is opened with a lift assembly having a plurality of straps attached to power driven lift drums. A latch assembly retains the closed bi-fold door secure to side columns of a building. The latch assembly has a latch strap attached to a latch drum that accommodates the latch strap to hold the closed bi-fold door in contact with the side columns of the building. A floor anchor assembly anchors the bottom of the closed bi-fold door to the floor below the closed bi-fold door to stabilize and inhibit bending and deformation of the bi-fold door frame.

Fold-Up Window Hardware

A window assembly is disclosed that includes a double-hung window aesthetic with an alternative opening procedure and mechanism. The window assembly may include various hardware systems. The hardware systems may include locking portions to assist in locking sash members to a frame and balance assembly for moving the sash members. The window assembly may be formed of selected materials.

Post for a folding door

A locking post for a closure, the post having front and rear walls joined at their sides by two side walls to form a tubular post having a generally quadratic cross-sectional shape. Each side wall has a groove therein, the groove parallel to the longitudinal axis of the post, and wide enough and deep enough to at least partly receive a locking element carried by the post. The sides of the groove also provide handles which can be gripped to move a closure the post is mounted on.
