AN AIRCRAFT PASSENGER ACCOMMODATION UNIT
The present invention provides an aircraft passenger accommodation unit comprising a seat, a shell that allows a passenger egress between an aisle and the seat through an opening, and a door assembly comprising a door slidable with respect to the shell between a retracted position and an extended position, a slide track attached to the shell, a slide runner for sliding along the slide track, and a connection mechanism for selectively connecting the door to the slide runner, wherein the door has a first sliding mode in which the connection mechanism connects the door to the slide runner and wherein the slide runner slides along the slide track, and a second sliding mode in which the connection mechanism does not connect the door to the slide runner and wherein the door slides in relation to the slide track. The invention also provides a door arrangement and associated methods.

Modified tilt latch bolt
An improved tilt latch bolt for a double-hung window with a groove or channel formed in either the biased or planar portion of the bolt nose for engaging a portion of the window frame when the window is under duress is disclosed herein. The grooves and channels define a depth of at least five thousandths of an inch (0.127 cm). The deformable cantilever, by virtue of being formed above, and extending over the channel, is resilient such that were a portion of the window jamb to clear the width of channel, the deformable cantilever provides a small degree of tolerance to capture the wayward window jamb before it inadvertently rotates out of the sash, for example in inclement weather conditions.
Door Assembly for Railcars
A door assembly for a railcar includes a sliding system and a latching system. The sliding system is operable to slide the door to a side of the entrance of the railcar to provide an opening path to an entrance of the railcar. The sliding system comprises one or more rollers used for sliding the door. The latching system is operable to plug the door to the railcar such that the door moves inward toward the railcar, and unplug the door from the railcar such that the door moves outward from the railcar. The latching system comprises a lever operably coupled with two or more gears. The lever turns a particular number of rotations in a first direction to plug the door to the railcar. The lever turns the particular number of rotations in a second direction to unplug the door from the railcar.
Door latch
A sliding door handle and strike assembly includes a locking member for engaging the strike to prevent the door from opening. The locking member is biased to an unlocked position, until it is moved into a locking position, in which magnetic co-operation acts to hold the locking member in the locking position.
Sash lock capable of bi-directional engagement
A sash lock for a sash window assembly is disclosed. The sash window assembly includes an upper sash window and a lower sash window. Each of the sash windows is mounted within opposed guide rails on a master frame. At least one of the sash windows is slidable within the frame relative to the other sash window. The sash lock comprises either a keeper, with a keeper opening, for mounting on a rail of one of the sash windows or a recess in the lower rail of the upper sash. The sash lock disclosed herein includes a housing having a hole, an actuator arm, and a cam having a cam element for receipt into the keeper opening or the recess. The locking assembly also includes a shaft extending through the housing hole and operably coupling the actuator arm to the cam.
Controllable door lock
A storage lock for a storage door, the lock comprising a lock housing for mounting to the storage door or a storage frame supporting the door; and a lock mechanism arranged within the lock housing, the lock mechanism comprising a latch selectively operable between a locked position in which the latch is extended to engage with the other of the storage door and storage frame to block against opening of the storage door, and an unlocked position in which the latch is retracted to disengage from the other of the storage door and storage frame to allow the storage door to be opened for access to storage, and a latch control system selectively operable between a restricted position to block against operation of the latch out from the locked position, and an unrestricted position to permit operation of the latch out from the locked position to the unlocked position.
Overhead Locking Device
An electric locking device for selectively locking and unlocking a door to a door frame is provided. The device comprises a housing and a keeper movably connected to the housing. The keeper includes a keeper shaft having an axis of rotation. The keeper is rotatable about the axis of rotation between first and second rotational positions, and movable between first and second directional positions relative to the lock housing. The movement between first and second directional positions is generally linear, and the axis of rotation is configured to move relative to the lock housing as the keeper moves between first and second directional positions. When the keeper is in the first rotational and directional positions, the door is secured to the door frame by the keeper. When the keeper is in the second rotational and directional positions, the door is allowed to move away from the door frame.
Shoot bolt for limiting movement of a fenestration panel
A shootbolt system for a fenestration assembly, such as a sliding patio door system, includes a chassis mountable to a stile of a sliding panel of the fenestration assembly, and a shootbolt slidably coupled to the chassis. The shootbolt is designed to be coupled to a corner drive system of the sliding panel for movement therewith upwardly or downwardly along the stile in response to an applied actuation force, such as from an operator handle. When extended, the shootbolt engages a receiver or stop mounted to the frame to prevent the sliding panel from rebounding when an adjacent second sliding panel is slidably moved to a closed position in contact with the sliding panel.
