Hinged door with latch
A hinged door with a latch described. The latch may be used to secure the door of a cabinet in a closed position. The door hingedly connects to the cabinet by a hinge. The latch includes a handle. The handle includes a pawl tip. The latch includes a base, and the handle rotates relative to the base. The handle is biased to a closed position by a spring or biasing member. The handle and the base are mounted to the door of the cabinet. A striker is mounted to a wall the cabinet. The striker includes a catch that is spaced from an interior side of a wall of the cabinet. The pawl tip of the handle lockingly engages with the catch of the striker to secure the door.
Decoupled latch
A latch includes a retention portion. The retention portion is configured to prevent a first device, coupled to the latch, from being removed while the retention portion is in a first configuration. The retention portion is configured to allow the first device to be removed while the retention portion is in a second configuration. The latch also includes a spring portion configured to allow the retention portion to transition between the first configuration and the second configuration.

ELECTRIC LOCK DEVICE FOR FURNITURE AND STORAGE
An electric lock device for furniture or storage has an RFID transmitter/receiver for communication with portable data carriers. A controller detects a data carrier nearby, reads a set of data from it, and determines if the data carrier is at least an access requesting or function determining type. If access requesting, the controller retrieves identity information from the read set of data, compares the identity information to stored reference information, and controls an electric activator for a securing member. If function determining, the controller retrieves function determining information from the read set of data and performs any of the following: switching to any of a plurality of operational modes having different principles for access control; reading an operational status; or setting an operational parameter. At least one of these actions is variable controlled and based on a variable value in the function determining information.
Integrated mechanical lock and motorized lock mechanism
A locking mechanism is selectively operable both electronically and mechanically by way of an integrated mechanical lock and motorized lock mechanism. A motorized lock mechanism is incorporated with a mechanical lock to provide for keyless access, while the mechanical lock and key system remains as a back-up. A toggle assembly is selectively positioned either mechanically via a first cam, or electronically via a second cam, both selectively operable independently of each other, without interference from each other, to move the toggle assembly to its unlocked position. A spring biases the toggle assembly to its locked position when the first and second cams are in their locked positions.
Lock Assembly
A lock assembly is provided which may be used for instance with mobile mounted appliances and cabinets. The lock assembly is provided to inhibit opening of the doors or drawers and which also shifts the lock assembly so that the lock does not inhibit closure of the door or drawer. The lock assembly also provides visual indication of the status of the lock.
Lock
A lock with a handle assembly and a lock articulating assembly. The handle assembly has a handle member and a lock assembly. The handle member has a central bore and a locking plug groove. The lock assembly has a lock arm with a body positionable within the central bore. The body includes a central bore and a radial bore which is alignable with the locking plug groove. The lock assembly further has an outward locking plug configured to translate along the radial bore and selectively into the locking plug groove. The lock articulating assembly includes a slider (or a second cam), an actuator, a cam coupled to a motor. The cam is selectively engageable with the slider to rotate and/or translate the slider. The actuator is coupled to the slider, so that movement to the slider imparts movement of the actuator.
Medications Dispensing Cart
An medications dispensing cart for dispensing medications includes a cabinet that has a front, a back, a left side, a right side, a top and a bottom defining an internal space. A pair of left walls and a pair of right walls are positioned in the internal space. Drawers are positioned between and slidably coupled to each of the pairs of walls. Rollers are coupled to the bottom and a cooler is positioned in the top. A light, operationally coupled to a power module, is extendable from the interior space through a complimentary aperture in the top. Electronic locks, controlled by a keypad, are coupled to the drawers. A manual lock also is coupled to each of the drawers. A pill manipulator that is capable of cutting and crushing pills is positioned on the top.
Magnet responsive cabinet lock
A cabinet lock includes a latch configured to translate between extended and retracted positions and a lever configured to rotate between engaged and disengaged positions. The latch may be coupled to the lever with a pin in a corresponding slot. When the lever is in the disengaged position the latch may be in the extended position and when the lever is in the engaged position the latch may be in the retracted position. The lever includes a ferromagnetic portion responsive to a magnet within a threshold distance, where the presence of the magnet moves the lever to the engaged position.
