INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM HOUSING LOCK
An information handling system housing is secured against unauthorized access with a security device integrated in the housing that selectively enables and disables screw movement relative to threads disposed in the housing. For instance, a freewheeling nut in the housing interfaces with an actuator that selectively releases or holds the freewheeling nut relative to the housing. When released, a screw coupled to the freewheeling nut cannot rotate relative to the threads of the freewheeling nut so that the screw maintains the housing secured until the freewheeling nut is held in position to allow removal of the screw.
SECURITY APPARATUS FOR A TABLET
A security apparatus comprises a support assembly and a keyboard retainer. The support assembly comprises a first retaining portion, a second retaining portion pivotally coupled to the first retaining portion, and a lock assembly defining a locked state and an unlocked state. The keyboard retainer comprises at least one base member pivotally coupled to the first and second retaining portions and included a top surface extending along a top surface plane, and an opposing bottom surface. The at least one base member comprises one or more securing members extending from the bottom surface of the first base, and one or more retainers extending above the top surface plane of the first and each retainer comprising a retaining member extending away from the first base.
SECURITY APPARATUS FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A security apparatus for a portable electronic device having an aperture includes a lock mechanism including a lock cylinder and a cam member. The cam member is coupled to the lock cylinder for rotation with the lock cylinder. The security apparatus additionally includes an engagement mechanism including a first finger, a second finger, and a plunger. The first finger and the second finger are configured to be inserted into the aperture of the portable electronic device. The plunger is positioned between the first finger and the second finger and has a cam follower configured to engage the cam member. As the cam member is rotated by the lock cylinder, the plunger pushes the first finger and the second finger apart from each other to engage the portable electronic device. The lock cylinder defines a rotational axis and the cam member is rotatable about the rotational axis.
Phone and tablet case
A case for a portable electronic device includes a substantially hollow housing formed of a first section and a second section. The first section is dimensioned and configured to tightly retain the portable electronic device. A hinged connector secures a first portion of the first section to a first portion of the second section and allows access to the portable electronic device when the second section is in an open position. One or more locking mechanisms removably connect a second portion of the first section to a second portion of the second section and prevents access to the portable electronic device when the second section is in a closed and locked position. A locating device is disposed within or attached to the first section.
CLAMP LOCK FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A clamp lock includes a body, a lock mechanism coupled to the body, and a clamping member supported by the body and operatively coupled to the lock mechanism. The clamping member and body cooperatively define a slot. The clamping member is movable relative to the body by actuating the lock mechanism from a first position, in which the clamping member is configured to engage the part of the portable electronic device, to a second position, in which the clamping member is configured to disengage the portable electronic device. The clamp lock includes a spring configured to bias the clamping member toward the second position. The slot includes an opening at an outer periphery of the body and an inner channel located inward of the opening. The opening has a first height and the inner channel has a second height that is larger than the first height.
Device for presenting small articles in sales shelf systems
A device for presenting small articles in retail shelf systems (1). The device may include a lower part (3) cooperating with the shelf system, an upper part (2) that can be connected to the lower part (3) and a holder (4) for the small article, wherein the lower part (3) and the upper part (2) can be connected via a latching connection or a clamping connection via connecting elements (5) which are formed on the lower part (3) and/or on the upper part (2) and which engage in corresponding receiving openings (12) in the mating piece, and the holder (4) for the small article is connected laterally to the lower part (3) and/or the upper part (2), and at least two holding wings (15) for receiving the small article are formed on the upper side of said holder.
NUMBER LOCK
A number lock has a main rod, a casing, a push knob and two buckles. The main rod is jacketed with a plurality of number rollers, and each number roller is capable of controlling movement of the main rod. One end of the main rod has an operating block and an ejector. The casing has two corresponding pieces enclosing the main rod and exposes a portion of each number roller. The casing further has a displacement space for accepting the operating block and a semispherical space for accepting the ejector. The casing has an elastic piece pushing against each number roller for positioning. One end of the casing is provided with a round rod, and the round rod has a ball socket connected to a cable. The push knob is partially disposed in the displacement space of the casing and connected to the operating block.
ADJUSTABLE SECURITY BRACKET
Systems are directed securing products to merchandise security systems. A merchandise security system comprises an adjustable bracket for securing a product. The bracket comprises three adjustable bracket arms, a base having a surface for receiving the product, and a lock. Each of the adjustable bracket arm extends outward from the base and are adapted to engage with a portion of the product to facilitate securing the product to the base.
ANTI-THEFT PRODUCT DISPLAY SYSTEM
An anti-theft mounting device for securing a component to a mounting surface is disclosed. The anti-theft mounting device includes a first counterpart, a second counterpart, and a fastener. The first counterpart, the second counterpart and the fastener are co-operatively configured such that the first counterpart and the second counterpart are configured for connection in a connected state such that a component-engager is established. The component-engager defines a component-receiving space including a component-engaging surface. While the first counterpart and the second counterpart are disposed in the connected state and the fastener is connected to the mounting surface, the first counterpart is connected to the second counterpart via at least the fastener, and the component-engager is connected to the mounting surface via at least the fastener.
DEVICE BASED LOCK VIA ELECTRICAL SOCKET
An electronically lockable, electrical plug configured to communicate power and data signals to mobile electronic devices (MED) includes a male electrical plug body insertable into a female electrical socket of the MED and plurality of electrical contacts defined in the male electrical plug for communicating the power and data signals to and from the MED, via corresponding electrical contacts associated with an MED electrical socket. The MED electrical socket is shaped and sized to physically receive and support therein said male electrical plug body. Plug locking elements are formed in the male plug body are so formed as to be lockable to or with corresponding, complementary socket locking elements of the MED, so that upon insertion of the male plug body into the MED socket the electrical plug is locked with the MED. An associated, electronically operable locking mechanism is operable to mechanically disengage the plug locking elements from the socket locking elements to thereby enable the electrical plug to be released from the MED and an electrical cable is coupled to the male plug body for electrically conducting the signals.
