CONNECTION LOCK
A connection lock is provided, including: a driving member, movable between first and second positions; a locking device by which the driving member is restrictable in the second position; a first housing; an actuating assembly, movably mounted to the first housing and assembled with the driving member; a blocking assembly, mounted to the first housing and movable between release and blocking positions; an electronic transmission unit, connected to the first housing; when the driving member is in the first position, the actuating assembly is driven by the driving member to drive the blocking assembly to the release position, the blocking assembly is detachable from an anti-theft hole; when the driving member is in the second position, the driving member drives the actuating assembly and the actuating assembly restricts the blocking assembly in the blocking position so that the blocking assembly is undetachable from the anti-theft hole.
SECURITY APPARATUS
A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object includes a locking head including a first part having a first base portion configured to be inserted into an opening of the portable electronic device, a second part that is separate from the first part, the second part having a second base portion configured to be inserted into the opening, and an aperture formed through the first part and the second part. The security apparatus also includes a cable threaded through the aperture to inhibit separation of the first part from the second part and removal of the locking head from the opening. The cable is configured to engage the immovable object.
DOCK FOR A PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A dock for a portable electronic device includes a base and a first arm supported by the base. The first arm includes a first hook coupled to an end of the first arm. The first hook is configured to engage a first edge of the portable electronic device. The dock further includes a second arm supported by the base. The second arm includes a side door movably coupled to an end of the second arm. The side door has a second hook configured to engage a second edge of the portable electronic device. The side door is movable between a first position, in which the portable electronic device is secured to the dock, and a second position, in which the portable electronic device is removable from the dock.
Holding gear
Holding gear for temporarily fixing a plate-shaped object, in particular a tablet computer, having a first holder which includes a coupling arrangement for connection to a supporting gear and a first receiving section for a positive reception at least in two spatial directions of a first narrow side of the plate-shaped object, and having a second holder, which has a second receiving section for receiving a second narrow side of the plate-shaped object in a form-fitting manner at least in two spatial directions, and further including a flexibly designed traction belt which is connected to the first holder and the second holder and which is designed for transmitting traction force between the first holder and the second holder for fixing the plate-shaped object.
Corner-mounted lock head for computer security
A lock for computer security has housing comprising a bottom wall, at least one side wall and a front wall with a corner region defined adjacent to both the bottom wall and the at least one side wall. A locking assembly comprises a locking assembly body holding at least two locking elements including a main locking element and a movable locking element, both said locking elements being supported by the locking assembly body, and the main locking element extending from and away from the locking assembly body at the front wall of the lock housing. A driver is coupled to the movable locking element, configured to selectively move the movable locking element in frontwise and rearwise directions, and controlled by a locking mechanism. The locking assembly is secured to the housing at the corner region thereof, with the locking elements located directly adjacent both the bottom wall and the at least one side wall.
Support assembly for displaying a portable article
A support assembly having a frame to support a portable article in a display position. The frame has first and second frame parts movable one relative to the other to change a dimension of a receiving space for a part of the first portable article. The frame is configured so that: a) relative movement can be effected between the first and second frame parts between: i) a first relationship wherein the receiving space has a first receiving dimension; and ii) a second relationship wherein the receiving space has a second receiving dimension that is less than the first receiving dimension; and b) the first and second frame parts upon being changed from the first relationship into the second relationship are blocked from changing from the second relationship back into the first relationship.
SECURITY APPARATUS
A security apparatus for a portable electronic device comprises at least one support member comprising opposing side surfaces and a plurality of support member surface features. At least one of the opposing side surfaces comprises a first engagement structure. One of the at least two arms comprises a second engagement structure configured to slidably engage the first engagement structure allowing movement in a first direction and opposing second direction. At least one locking assembly is positioned on at least one of the at least two arms and comprises a plurality of lock surface features configured to couple to the plurality of support member surface features. In a locked position, the at least one of the at least two arms is enabled to slide in the first direction. In an unlocked position, the at least one of the at least two arms is enabled to slide in the second direction.
DOCK FOR A PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A dock for a portable electronic device, the dock includes a base including one or more ports, a cradle defining an interior volume configured to house at least a portion of the portable electronic device, the cradle being pivotable relative to the base to change an orientation of the portable electronic device relative to the base, and a security apparatus configured to be inserted into a port of the portable electronic device upon insertion of the portable electronic device into the cradle to prohibit removal of the portable electronic device from the dock, the security apparatus including a data and power transmission apparatus that is electrically connected to the one or more ports.
Clamp lock for portable electronic device
A clamp lock for securing a portable electronic device includes a body having a slot configured to receive part of the portable electronic device, a lock mechanism supported by the body, and a clamping member supported by the body and operatively coupled to the lock mechanism. The clamping member is movable relative to the body by actuating the lock mechanism between a first position, in which the clamping member extends into the slot and is configured to engage the part of the portable electronic device, and a second position, in which the clamping member is configured to disengage the portable electronic device. The clamp lock further includes a security member coupled to the body and configured to be coupled to an immovable object.
Attachable security cord tether and device
A cable tether for computer and adapter security and theft Prevention. The cable tether has one or two loops at each end of the cable with a crimp-able metal sleeve. The end of the cable is attached to the sleeve forming the end of the loop while the cable loops back through the sleeve forming an adjustable loop. This end of the cable can slide within the sleeve. The loop is placed around the item to be protected or secured and cannot be removed. The loop is then pulled tight by pulling the cable through the sleeve. Once it is tight enough that sleeve is crimped against the cable holding it in place and forming a secure loop. This can be done at the other end to secure the item to a base, table or computer protecting it from getting lost or taken.
