Number lock
A number lock has a main rod, a casing, a push knob and two buckles. The main rod is jacketed with a plurality of number rollers, and each number roller is capable of controlling movement of the main rod. One end of the main rod has an operating block and an ejector. The casing has two corresponding pieces enclosing the main rod and exposes a portion of each number roller. The casing further has a displacement space for accepting the operating block and a semispherical space for accepting the ejector. The casing has an elastic piece pushing against each number roller for positioning. One end of the casing is provided with a round rod, and the round rod has a ball socket connected to a cable. The push knob is partially disposed in the displacement space of the casing and connected to the operating block.
External locking device
An external locking device is mounted on a holder. An operation member of the holder is moved between a first position where the operation member is substantially flush with an exterior of the holder and a second position where the operation member protrudes from the exterior. A first electronic device is detached from the holder when the operation member moved to the second position. The external locking device includes a locking member, a shaft member that rotates to a locking position during locking of the locking member and rotates to an unlocking position during unlocking of the locking member, and a moving member. When the shaft member is located at the locking position, the moving member moves to a space where the operation member is to be located at the second position. When the shaft member is located at the unlocking position, the moving member retreats from the space.
SECURITY ANCHOR FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A security anchor for a portable electronic device having an opening includes a body configured to be engaged by a lock head of a lock, a first engagement element extending from the body and configured to be inserted into the opening of the portable electronic device, a second engagement element extending from the body and configured to be inserted into the opening of the portable electronic device, and a plunger positioned between the first engagement element and the second engagement element. The plunger is linearly slidable and subsequently rotated relative to the body to expand apart the first and second engagement elements.
Security apparatus
A security apparatus for retaining a electronic device when being displayed to a customer for evaluation. The security apparatus comprises a housing including a base and a plurality of arms mounting to the base for holding the electronic device. The security apparatus also includes a locking mechanism moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking mechanism is configured to engage each of the plurality of arms to (i) secure the electronic device in the locked position, and (ii) release the electronic device in the unlocked position. The locking mechanism is accessible to a side of the housing which is inaccessible to the customer.
SECURITY APPARATUS HAVING A REMOVABLE LOCK TIP
A security apparatus includes a lock body, an actuator assembly supported by the lock body, the actuator assembly having an engagement feature configured to rotate between a first position and a second position. The security apparatus further includes a lock tip removably coupled to the lock body. The lock tip is movable by the actuator assembly between a locked position, in which the lock tip is secured to the portable electronic device, and an unlocked position, in which the lock tip is unsecured from the portable electronic device. Rotating the engagement feature from the second position to the first position locks the lock tip to the lock body and concurrently locks the lock tip to the portable electronic device. Rotating the engagement feature from the first position to the second position unlocks the lock tip from the lock body and concurrently unlocks the lock tip from the portable electronic device.
GANG CHARGER, SHROUD, AND DOCK FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
An anti-theft device for protecting a portable electronic device from theft or unauthorized removal in a retail environment is provided. The anti-theft device includes a shroud configured to at least partially receive and engage a portable electronic device. The anti-theft device also includes a dock configured to releasably engage the shroud. The dock is configured to engage the shroud in a locked configuration so as to prevent removal of the shroud and the portable electronic device from the dock and to disengage the shroud in an unlocked configuration so as to allow the shroud and the portable electronic device to be removed from the dock.
Apparatuses that secure laptops to display surfaces
A security apparatus secures a laptop, and particularly a convertible laptop, to a mounting surface. The security apparatus comprises a housing assembly, and a first arm assembly and a second arm assembly extending from and retractable into the housing assembly. A first end assembly and second end assembly are mounted to the first arm assembly, and a second end assembly. Each arm assembly secures a first side and a second side of a lower body portion of the laptop. A trapping member is positioned in the housing assembly to lock the arm assemblies. A locking rod has a first end extending outside the support housing and a second end extending into the housing assembly and into engagement with the trapping member, the locking rod configured to move the trapping member into engagement with the first and second arm assemblies.
TOOL-LESS SECURITY APPARATUS
A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device includes a base that defines a cavity extending from a first end of the base to a second end of the base. A holder is structured to engage the base. The holder includes an outer surface defining a plurality of channels terminating at a support surface and a holder groove defined on the outer surface of the holder. The security apparatus further includes a securing portion with a plurality of projections that are each structured to contact the support surface and engage one of the holder grooves. Rotation of the securing portion relative to the holder acts to move at least a portion of each of the plurality of projections into the holder channel and secure the securing portion to the holder, where the portable electronic device is secured between the securing portion and the holder.
MULTI-COMPONENT LOCK FOR SECURING A DEVICE
A lock to secure a device having an aperture includes a first inner lock member including a first body having a first end and a second end, and a first bore extending through the first body. The lock also includes a second inner lock member including a second body having a first end and a second end, and a second bore extending through the second body. Both the first ends of the first inner lock member and of the second inner lock member are configured to be inserted into the aperture of the device. The lock further includes an outer lock member including a third body positioned around at least portions of the second ends of the first inner lock member and the second inner lock member, and a security device inserted through the first bore and the second bore to inhibit removal of the lock from the device.
Cooler Lock
A cooler access control system locks a cooler when occurrence of an event is detected that requires limiting access to the inside of the cooler. Examples of such events include the loss of power to the cooler for a predetermined period of time, the opening of the cooler door for longer than an allowed time, the loss of functionality of a temperature probe and others. In an embodiment, a service mode is supported wherein the door is left unlocked despite the occurrence of such an event, to allow a stocker or other personnel to leave the cooler door open while stocking the cooler with product.
