VEHICLE LOCK-OUT PROTECTION SYSTEM
A lock-out protection system of a vehicle is configured for use with a portable transceiver, the vehicle having an interior and doors configured to open and close to facilitate ingress to and egress from the interior and being lockable and unlockable upon issuance of corresponding commands, and the transceiver configured to send and receive signals. The system can include a processor configured to, upon receipt of a door lock command when a door is in open position and then moved to closed position: determine presence or absence of the transceiver inside the vehicle interior and outside the vehicle interior; and issue a door unlock command if the processor determines that the transceiver is absent both inside the vehicle interior and outside the vehicle interior.
Secondary Retention Device for Transit Door
An overcenter locking mechanism for sliding transit doors with a secondary retention device.
ELECTRICAL DOOR LATCH WITH MOTOR RESET
An e-latch assembly and method for operating for a closure panel of a vehicle, the closure panel operable between an open state and a closed state. The e-latch assembly is configured to control via an open command to operate an electric motor of the e-latch assembly in order to change a state of the electric motor during a latch release operation from a motor home position to a motor open position; and to control via a a reset command to change the state from the motor open position to the motor home position by controlling the reset command only when one or more sensors indicate a position of at least one of the closure panel or a ratchet or a pawl of the e-latch assembly reflecting the closure panel returning from the open state to the closed state.

Door Latch Direct Visual Indication
A latch mechanism for a door of an aircraft comprises a striker pin and a catch assembly. The catch assembly includes a housing, which includes a first aperture and a first outboard surface aligned with the first aperture. The catch assembly also includes a catch pivotably coupled to the housing. The catch includes a recess configured to selectively receive the striker pin. The catch also includes a hook extending at least partially through the first aperture. The hook includes a second outboard surface configured to selectively cover the first outboard surface. The catch is pivotable relative to the housing between an open orientation in which the second outboard surface at least partially reveals the first outboard surface, and a lock orientation in which the second outboard surface substantially conceals the first outboard surface. The recess is configured to receive the striker pin when the catch is in the lock orientation.

Vehicle control system
A vehicle control system includes at least one processor and a storage medium configured to store a program to be executed by the at least one processor. The program includes at least one command. The at least one command causes the at least one processor to execute a key lock-out prevention process of controlling a lock mechanism of a door of a vehicle into an unlocked state in a case where a key that operates the lock mechanism is positioned inside the vehicle, and a vehicle protection process of controlling the lock mechanism into a locked state without executing the key lock-out prevention process in a case where, after automatic stop of the vehicle, an occupant present inside the vehicle is not detected and the key is positioned inside the vehicle.

Vehicle door control system
A vehicle door control system includes a courtesy switch that detects an opened/closed state of a side door, a latch actuator that performs an unlatch operation for releasing a latch that holds the side door in a closed state, an unlatch switch that is provided in a vehicle compartment and is operated by a user when releasing the latch, and a controller that causes the latch actuator to perform the unlatch operation when the unlatch switch is operated. The controller prevents the unlatch operation from being executed in a period during which the side door is in an opened state, even when the unlatch switch is operated.
