MECHANICAL EMERGENCY LATCH RELEASE SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE DOOR AND METHOD
A closure panel for a motor vehicle having a power-operated latch assembly with a mechanical emergency release system and method of mechanical actuation of the power-operated latch assembly is provided. The mechanical emergency release system of power-operated latch assembly has a manually actuatable release lever and a cover for hiding the manually actuatable release lever from a user within an interior cabin of the motor vehicle. The manually actuatable release lever is accessible to the user in the interior cabin for activation after the cover has been moved.
ACTUATING DEVICE FOR A LOCK OF A VEHICLE, AND VEHICLE DOOR AND VEHICLE HAVING SAID VEHICLE DOOR
An actuating device (1) for a lock of a vehicle, which is arranged, or can be arranged, on a vehicle, wherein the actuating device (1) has an actuating component (10), which is to be grasped manually and which can be brought from a stowed position into a standby position, wherein the stowed position is a position in which the actuating component (10) to be grasped is stowed and wherein the standby position is a position in which the actuating component can be grasped by a user, wherein the actuating component (10) is operatively connected, or can be operatively connected, to at least the lock of the vehicle in such a way that the lock can be opened by actuating the actuating component. A vehicle door having such an actuating device and a vehicle having such a vehicle door are also contemplated.
Automobile door locking device
A motor vehicle door lock apparatus includes a meshing mechanism configured to mesh with a striker, an outside operation switch, an inside handle, a locking and unlocking mechanism configured to be selectively switched to an unlocking state and a locking state that cannot be released based on a door opening operation of the inside handle, a control unit configured to authenticate a transmitter signal and, when the transmitter is situated outside a vehicle, to enable operation of the outside operation switch when authenticated and to disable operation of the outside operation switch when not authenticated and an electric releasing mechanism to release a meshing of the meshing mechanism by the control unit driving a releasing motor to activate operation of the outside operation switch when the control unit authenticates the transmitter outside the vehicle, regardless of the locking and unlocking mechanism staying in the unlocking or the locking state.

Dual pull latch assembly
A dual pull latch assembly and method of unlatching a panel. The double cable pull assembly includes a pull rod, a selector lever, and a linkage, wherein the selector lever is selectively disposed in a first feature or second feature of the linkage. In another embodiment, the double pull latch assembly includes a release arm, a lever, and a hold open lever to hold the lever in the intermediate position.

Door Flag
A flag mechanism for an aircraft door includes a first arm and a second arm each having a flag on a first end and a catch on a second end. A first cam is operatively coupled to a first latching member and a second cam is operatively coupled a second latching member. The first and second latching members are each configured for latching the aircraft door, which are locked when the first and second cams are rotated to a locked position. A first stud extends from a side of the first cam and a second stud extends from a side of the second cam. The first and second studs are each configured to be received by a respective catch of the first and second arms while the first and second cams are rotated, thereby moving each respective flag from a first position to a second position for simultaneous visual inspection.
Door Latch Positioning Mechanism
A latch positioning mechanism for an aircraft door includes one or more locking members configured to be partially driven into a frame around the door via rotation of a pivot pin. A frame bumper extends outside of the door in a pre-catch position for contacting the frame. A catch bellcrank is operatively coupled to the frame bumper, and a biasing member biases rotation of the catch bellcrank to bias the frame bumper into the pre-catch position. The catch bellcrank is configured to contact a catch cam when the catch bellcrank is biased into the pre-catch position such that the catch cam prevents release of the one or more locking members for locking the door. Upon the frame bumper contacting the frame when the door is closed, the catch cam is released enabling the one or more locking members to be moved into a locked position.
