Door latch system
This invention relates to a door latch system. The door latch system includes: a housing; a latch pivotally and rotatably installed in the housing; a main locking member slidingly installed in the housing for locking the latch; a sub-locking member slidingly installed in the housing and disposed in one side of the main locking member; a hook pivotally and movably installed in any one of the main locking member and the sub-locking member; a stopping threshold formed in the other one (wherein the hook is not installed) of the main locking member and the sub-locking member; and a locking plate slidingly installed in the housing for pivotally moving the hook, wherein the main locking member and the sub-locking member are sliding together when the hook is held by the stopping threshold by the sliding of the locking plate, and only the sub-locking member is sliding when the hook is separated from the stopping threshold by the sliding of the locking plate, so that even if the door lever is being pulled when the door is being locked, the unnecessary force is not transferred to the other components such as a latch, a main locking member, and the like.

CLOSURE LATCH FOR VEHICLE DOOR
In an embodiment, a latch includes a ratchet and pawl. A lock includes a link pivotable between unlocked and locked positions wherein a release lever operates the pawl, and the lever disconnects from the pawl respectively. A cam rotates between unlocking and locking positions wherein the link can move to the unlocked position, and the link pivots to the locked position respectively. An override member rotates between actuatable and non-actuatable positions wherein the lever can engage the override member to unlock the cam, and the lever disconnects from the override member respectively. The lock is positionable in an unlocked state wherein the link is unlocked, a locked state wherein the link is locked, the cam is in the locking position and the override member is actuatable, and a second locked state wherein the link is locked, the cam is in the locking position and the override member is non-actuatable.

CINCH OVERRIDE MECHANISM FOR LATCH ASSEMBLY
An override mechanism for a cinching latch assembly includes a claw rotatable between open and closed positions, the claw spring biased toward the opened position to allow opening of a latch. Also included is a cinch drive link rotatable between an override and non-override positions, the cinch drive link in operative contact with the claw in the non-override position and disengaged from the claw in the override position, wherein operative contact between the claw and the cinch drive link biases the cinch drive link toward the override position. Further included is a guide surface. Yet further included is a cinch override lever defining an opening, the bearing of the cinch drive link disposed within the opening and moveable within the opening. Also included is a cinch override pawl rotatable between an engaged condition and a disengaged condition, the engaged condition locking the cinch override lever.
