Motor vehicle door lock
A motor vehicle door lock includes a rotary latch which in a locking position encompasses a locking element that is pre-tensioned in a direction of an open position releasing the locking element. A pawl is in engagement with the rotary latch such that the latch is inhibited from moving towards the open position. A coupling section of the pawl is coupled to a drive element which moves the pawl between an engagement position and a release position, the release position allowing the rotary latch to move toward the open position. A force is applied to the pawl only in the engagement position thereof and the force application holds the pawl in engagement with the rotary latch.

Motor-vehicle door lock
The invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock comprising a locking mechanism, also at least one locking element (3), an electric drive (5, 6, 7) for the locking mechanism, and at least two stops (20, 21, 22, 27) for the electric drive (5, 6, 7) and/or the locking element (3), wherein one of the stops (20, 21) is associated with the locking element (3) and the other stop (22, 27) is associated with the electric drive (5, 6, 7) and both stops (20, 21, 22, 27) are arranged on a common stop contour (23).
Latch device for vehicle trunk lid
The present invention aims to reduce the operation noise of a latch device for a vehicle trunk lid when the lid is opened. A latch device for a vehicle trunk lid includes: latch 16 that is engaged with a striker; ratchet 18 that is engaged with latch 16; opening lever 43 that causes ratchet 18 to rotate in a direction in which ratchet 18 is disengaged from latch 16; output member 39 that rotates opening lever 43 in the release direction. Opening lever 43 is rotatable between an unblocked position where it is rotatable in the release direction and a blocked position where it is prevented from rotating in the release direction by colliding with the output member. When driven and rotated, output member 39 abuts against opening lever 43 that is in the unblocked position and rotates opening lever 43 in the release direction to the blocked position, and opening lever 43 is further rotated a predetermined angle by colliding with output member 39 in the blocked position.

Method for producing motor vehicle door locks with a rolling surface as a locking part contour
The invention relates to a method for producing motor vehicle door locks with the locking parts: a rotary latch and a pawl. Said latch and the pawl are stamped from rolled sheet metal defining vertical or approximately vertical edges with corresponding latch surfaces on the rotary latch and the pawl, and subsequently are provided with a covering while maintaining the catch surfaces. After stamping, the locking parts are bent in the region of the main latch and/or another latch resulting in the formation a contour which is void of stamped channels, and are then inserted into the lock housing box.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING A BOWDEN CABLE AND BOWDEN CABLE
The disclosure is directed to a method for manufacturing a Bowden cable, in particular a Bowden cable of a closure element arrangement of a motorized vehicle, comprising the step of applying a noise dampening sleeve to a Bowden cable housing. It is suggested that the noise dampening sleeve is molded onto the Bowden cable housing.
