CLOSING ASSEMBLY FOR MOTOR VEHICLE
This disclosure relates to a closing assembly for a motor vehicle, and more particularly to a closing assembly for body closures of motor vehicles. An example vehicle includes an immovable body component, a moveable body component configured to move relative to the immovable body component, and a closing assembly. The closing assembly includes a locking bolt configured to engage a latch moveable relative to a guide slot between a release position and a closed position. The closing assembly further includes a spring exerting a restoring force urging the latch in the direction of the closed position. The restoring force has no force component along a section of the guide slot corresponding to the release position of the latch. The closing assembly is a low cost and robust assembly which reduces noise associated with closing a vehicle door. These and other benefits will be appreciated from the following description.

A door latch assembly is provided with enhanced acoustic dampening characteristics, and includes a door bolt assembly having an inside barrel and an outside barrel configured for accommodating reciprocal sliding action of the inside barrel between a latch position and a release position. At least one barrel acoustic isolator is associated with at least one of the inside barrel and the outside barrel, and is configured for dampening sound generated by the reciprocal action.

The invention relates to a motor vehicle door which is fitted with a motor vehicle door lock and an associated locking bolt and with a stop device with corresponding damping elements. Said stop device interacts, at least when the locking bolt engages in the motor vehicle door lock, with the relevant locking bolt for damping the movements thereof. According to the invention, said stop device is fitted with at least one deflection lever and a transmission lever. In this respect, the deflection lever interacting with the locking bolt is designed to at least partially absorb the movement of the locking bolt.

The invention relates to a motor vehicle door which is fitted with a motor vehicle door lock and an associated locking bolt and with a stop device with corresponding damping elements. Said stop device interacts, at least when the locking bolt engages in the motor vehicle door lock, with the relevant locking bolt for damping the movements thereof. According to the invention, said stop device is fitted with at least one deflection lever and a transmission lever. In this respect, the deflection lever interacting with the locking bolt is designed to at least partially absorb the movement of the locking bolt.
