CARGO CONTAINER WITH INTEGRATED LOCKING APPARATUS
A cargo container with integrated locking apparatus that is configured to provide operational control of an overhead style door that is operably coupled to the cargo container so as to allow or inhibit movement thereof. An actuator assembly is mounted adjacent a track configured to have wheels of an overhead door traverse therethrough. The actuator assembly is operably coupled to a movement assembly via a drive member. The drive member is movable between a first and second position and is operable to move the first lever arm and second lever arm of the movement assembly. The movement assembly is operably coupled to a pin member wherein the pin member is operably coupled to the second lever arm. The pin member is movable between a first and second position wherein in the second position the pin member extends into the track so as to inhibit movement of a wheel therepast.
Cable release system for a hold open rod mechanism
A cable release system configured to unlock a hold open rod mechanism or latch mechanism includes an actuator having a handle and a cable attachment. The cable release system also includes a cable connected at one end to the actuator and at another end to an unlocking mechanism associated with the hold open rod mechanism or the latch mechanism. The cable release system also includes the actuator being configured to move the cable and operate the unlocking mechanism associated with the hold open rod mechanism or the latch mechanism. The cable release system also includes the actuator and the handle being configured to be moved by personnel to move the cable and operate the unlocking mechanism associated with the hold open rod mechanism or the latch mechanism. The cable release system also includes the cable attachment including a lower slide and a release slide.
VEHICLE POP-UP HOOD APPARATUS
A pop-up hood apparatus includes a hood, a hood lock mechanism, a support mechanism of the hood lock mechanism, and an actuator that displaces the hood lock mechanism upward. The support mechanism includes a movable block that supports the hood lock mechanism and a base block and that supports the movable block such that the movable block is slidable upward and downward. The base block has a long hole that extends along a vertical direction. A protrusion part that is slidably inserted in the long hole is provided on the movable block. A resistance-applying part that comes into contact with the protrusion part and that applies a resistance to the protrusion part is provided in at least a higher region of the long hole than a required elevation position of the hood.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR A MOVABLE PART OF A VEHICLE
A locking device for a movable part of a vehicle, in particular for a bonnet of a vehicle, having a locking mechanism which can be mounted on the body side and intended for receiving a lock holder arranged on the movable part, and also having a raising mechanism which can be brought into contact with the lock holder and intended for moving the movable part into at least one protection position, wherein the raising mechanism has at least a first overload protector, with the result that, in a load situation, the movable part is movable from the protection position into an impact position.
Latch Assembly
A latching mechanism for securing a door mounted to a door frame comprises a striker pin mounted to the door frame; a pawl comprising a first arm for holding the striker pin captive when the pawl is in a latching position; and an actuator moveable relative to the door for opening or closing the door. The actuator is configured to pivot the pawl from the latching position to an open position according to movement of the actuator. The actuator comprises a biasing mechanism for urging the pawl to remain in the latching position until a resistance of the biasing mechanism is overcome by operation of the actuator.

Locking device comprising a shape memory element
A locking device that includes: a locking element, movable between a locked position and an unlocked position and being forced to its locked position, a pin, and an actuator of the pin, the pin being configured to move the locking element from the locked position to the unlocked position when the actuator is actuated by changing the shape of a shape memory element. The pin is movable between: an extended position, in which it moves the locking element from its locked position to its unlocked position, and a retracted position, in which it releases the movement of the locking element to its locked position.
Pyrotechnic Latch Actuator Responsive to a Decompression Detection System and Method
A system for monitoring a pressure change within at least one compartment of an aircraft and operating a pyrotechnic device associated with a door latch, includes a securing mechanism arranged in an aircraft door that includes a pyrotechnic actuator and a latch bolt. The system includes the pyrotechnic actuator configured to move the latch bolt when the pyrotechnic actuator is actuated. The system also includes a pressure sensor configured to provide a pressure signal. The system also includes a controller configured to determine a pressure drop representing a decompression event. The system also includes an output driver configured to generate an output signal to actuate the pyrotechnic actuator when the controller determines the occurrence of a decompression event.
