TWO-PULL, AUTOMATIC RESET, LATCH SYSTEM
A two-pull, automatic reset, latch system is configured to operate during a no-power scenario and a power scenario. The latch system includes a release system, a release lever, and a coupling lever. The release lever is pivotally engaged to a stationary structure about a first axis. The coupling lever pivots about a second axis offset from the first axis, and is adapted to couple the release lever to the release system during a no-power scenario and upon two actuations of the release lever. The coupling lever is further adapted to maintain decoupling of the release lever from the release system during a power scenario.

Vehicle Door Opening Structure
An embodiment vehicle door opening structure includes a first door unit positioned at a side of a vehicle and including a first door, a second door unit including a second door positioned adjacent to the first door, a locking device configured to selectively lock the first door unit and the second door unit together, and a controller configured to fix the locking device so that the first door unit and the second door unit are configured to be opened together or to release the locking device so that the first door unit and the second door unit are configured to be opened independently.
Two-pull, automatic reset, latch system
A two-pull, automatic reset, latch system is configured to operate during a no-power scenario and a power scenario. The latch system includes a release system, a release lever, and a coupling lever. The manual release lever is pivotally engaged to a stationary structure about a first axis. The coupling lever pivots about a second axis offset from the first axis, and is adapted to couple the release lever to the release system during a no-power scenario and upon two manual actuations of the release lever. The coupling lever is further adapted to maintain decoupling of the release lever from the release system during a power scenario.

Vehicle door latch device
Provided is a vehicle door latch device capable of shortening of energization time to an electrical drive source while a moving member is restrained by abutting against a stopper portion and improvement of durability of the electrical drive source. A control unit of the door latch device controls an electric motor for driving a sector gear in a release direction based on a door operation of an operation switch, and controls to stop a power supply to the electric motor when the latch is rotated from the full-latch position to the open position and a full-latch detecting switch is activated while the moving member is brought into abutment with the stopper portion and is stopped.
Latch apparatus of tailgate for vehicle
A latch apparatus of a tailgate for a vehicle is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base supporting a driving motor for supplying power and having an insertion groove for inserting a striker. A latch lever is rotatably disposed close to the insertion groove of the base. The latch lever is pushed to rotate when the striker is inserted into the insertion groove, and covers the striker inserted in the insertion groove. A release unit is disposed close to the latch lever on the base. The release unit is configured to transmit power from the driving motor, fix a position of the latch lever rotating to cover the striker, and allow the latch lever to rotate when the driving motor is operated. A cinching unit, operated by the power from the driving motor, is disposed close to the release unit on the base.
Log wrapper safety device
A device for securing logs from harvested timber to a transport vehicle, or logging truck, using log wrappers. The log wrapper securement device can be located in the inspection cavity of a forestry grapple. The forestry grapple is attached to a log loader. The log wrapper securement device includes a base plate sized and shaped to replace the inspection plate covering the inspection cavity. The base plate includes a slot sized and shaped to receive a portion of a chain end link or other chain links of the log wrapper, which can be inserted manually. The loader operator can remotely control the actuator to secure the chain link and release it, once the log wrapper is positioned over the other side of the logging truck. The log wrapper securement device can potentially reduce injuries and save lives.
POWER DOOR PRESENTER WITH LATCHING FEATURE
A power door presenter system for pivoting a vehicle door relative to a vehicle body between a closed position and a partially open deployed position includes a presenter assembly mounted to one of the vehicle body and the vehicle door with an auxiliary striker fixed to the other one of the vehicle body and the vehicle door. The presenter assembly has an extensible member configured for movement between retracted and extended positions corresponding to the closed and deployed positions and an auxiliary latch mechanism movable between latched engagement with the auxiliary striker when the vehicle door is indicated as not being under manual control of a user to allow automated return of the vehicle door to the closed position and unlatched engagement from the auxiliary striker when the vehicle door is indicated as being under manual control of the user to allow the door to be moved to a fully opened position.
Door opening/ closing device for vehicle
A door opening/closing device drives a slide door to a locked state under authentication communication between an authentication ECU of a vehicle side and a mobile device, when the slide door is in a closed and unlocked state and the presence of a user is detected by a detection unit.
