SMART KEY SYSTEM
A smart key system includes: a plurality of mobile devices each of which can be carried by a user, and is assigned unique identification information; and a control unit that is provided in an opening/closing body, performs an inquiry to the plurality of mobile devices by radio wave transmission, and locks or unlocks the opening/closing body when verification of the identification information responded from any of the mobile devices succeeds. The control unit performs simple verification for confirming presence or absence of the plurality of mobile devices within a response area, before verifying the identification information, and performs formal verification of the identification information for a mobile device that has been confirmed to be present by the simple verification, among the plurality of mobile devices.

Opposed hook sliding door lock
A sliding door lock system has a centrally-disposed operator. The operator has a casing with a trigger retractably extended from the casing. An operator mechanism disposed in the casing is operatively engaged with the trigger. A lock remotely disposed from the operator has a housing. A pair of opposed locking hooks extend from the housing and a spring biases each hook into an unlocked position. A block pivotably connected to the housing is configured to engage the hooks when the hooks are in a locked position. An elongate member operably connects the operator mechanism to the block.

METHOD FOR SECURE TRANSMISSION OF A VIRTUAL KEY AND METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATION OF A MOBILE TERMINAL
The invention relates to a method for transmission of a secure virtual key (VK) from a server (50, S) to a mobile terminal (20, T) capable of communicating with the server (50, S), comprising the steps of: a) reception by the server (50, S) of a certification request from the mobile terminal (20, T), b) provision and downloading on the mobile terminal (20, T), by the server (50, S), of a user application (25), and c) provision of the mobile terminal (20, T), by the server (50, S), with a virtual key (VK), and d) downloading and securing of the virtual key (VK) in a security element (27) of the mobile terminal (20, T), characterised in that said security element is formed by an encrypting software environment (27).
CHILD VEHICULAR ABANDONMENT PREVENTION SYSTEM
The present invention, in one form, is an absolute prevention system that will not allow anyone to leave an infant/child or pet in a vehicle unattended mistakenly or intentionally. The system comprises an ECM/ECU with auxiliary wiring connections from the host vehicle wiring, such as the ignition, A/C and heat, door ajar, vehicle seat weight sensors and ABS sensor, interior display screen, door locks, power windows, interior speakers and the vehicles' theft alarm system. In addition, the ECM/ECU will allow connections for a flow sensor/meter, passive infrared sensors, temperature sensor, wireless antenna, voice module, ISO pet chip reader and a hardwired harness. The ECM/ECU is capable of employing 911, GPS location and text message logged love ones.
ANGLE-DETECTING DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY
An angle-detecting door handle assembly comprises: a handle member; a four-bar link configured to move the handle member between at least retracted and presented positions relative to a door surface; a motor configured to actuate the four-bar link; a rotary sensor configured to detect an angle of the four-bar link throughout actuation and generate a signal corresponding to the detected angle; and a controller configured to control the motor based on the signal from the rotary sensor.
Systems and methods for automated operation and handling of autonomous trucks and trailers hauled thereby
A system and method for operation of an autonomous vehicle (AV) yard truck is provided. A processor facilitates autonomous movement of the AV yard truck, and connection to and disconnection from trailers. A plurality of sensors are interconnected with the processor that sense terrain/objects and assist in automatically connecting/disconnecting trailers. A server, interconnected, wirelessly with the processor, that tracks movement of the truck around and determines locations for trailer connection and disconnection. A door station unlatches/opens rear doors of the trailer when adjacent thereto, securing them in an opened position via clamps, etc. The system computes a height of the trailer, and/or if landing gear of the trailer is on the ground and interoperates with the fifth wheel to change height, and whether docking is safe, allowing a user to take manual control, and optimum charge time(s). Reversing sensors/safety, automated chocking, and intermodal container organization are also provided.
