Latch mechanism
A service latch assembly for a vehicle is disclosed. The latch assembly includes a striker member and a latch mechanism configured to selectively engage and release the strike member. The latch mechanism includes a frame plate defining a guideway configured to receive the striker member, a striker guard inserted into the guideway, a latch member pivotally connected to the frame plate, a stop tab extending from a closed end of the guideway, a stop bumper inserted onto the stop tab, and an over-mold fitted over the latch member. The over-mold includes a pivot limiter bumper configured to cooperate with the stop bumper to limit the pivot of the latch member in an open position and a striker retention feature nested onto an edge retention surface of a first lever arm of the latch member.
Electric saddle type vehicle with storage areas
A motorcycle, or saddle type vehicle, is disclosed that may have at least one seat and at least two wheels, at least one hub electric motor. A large dry storage compartment may be positioned between the rider and steering mount. A rechargeable battery and battery management system may be located below the storage compartment in a battery housing, where the battery housing may be a structural component of the chassis. A rear electronics housing may be attached to and located behind the battery housing, and may contain major electrical components such as electric motor controller and contactors. Two structural members, or frame side rails, may form sides of the storage compartment and extend between the electronics housing and steering mount. The electronics housing may also connect to the battery housing such that the battery housing reinforces and strengthens the chassis, or structural frame. A secondary storage compartment may be located under the seat. Additionally, the storage compartments may have electronic locking mechanisms that are activated via a wireless connection to a remote electronic device.

Tension cable control duplexer
An electric vehicle includes a charge port configured to selectively lock a charge plug to the charge port, a charge port door configured to provide access to the charge port, a charge port door lock configured to selectively lock the charge port door in a closed position, a primary manual release cable operably coupled to the charge port to manually unlock the charge plug from the charge port, and a secondary tension cable system coupled between the primary manual release cable and the charge port door lock. Actuation of the primary manual release cable simultaneously unlocks the charge plug from the charge port and actuates the secondary tension cable system to unlock the charge port door lock.
Locking Device for Illuminating The Plug Contour of a Charging Socket of an Electric Vehicle
The present disclosure relates to a locking device for locking a charging plug in a charging socket of an electric vehicle for charging a battery of the electric vehicle, the charging socket having a plug contour which corresponds to a plug contour of the charging plug, the locking device including a locking member configured to move to a locking position upon insertion of the charging plug into the charging receptacle and further configured to move to an unlocking position upon release of the charging plug from the charging receptacle. The locking device also includes a light guide adapted to illuminate the plug contour of the charging receptacle when the locking member is in the unlock position so as to facilitate insertion of the charging plug into the charging receptacle.
Handle device
There is provided a handle device. The handle device includes a base member, a handle member, and a swing member. The handle member has a grasp portion. The swing member includes a handle-side abutting portion, a base-side abutting portion, and a rotational pivot portion. As the handle-side abutting portion comes away from a bottom portion of the base member, the base-side abutting portion comes close to the bottom portion of the base member.

LATCH MECHANISM
Disclosed is a to a latch mechanism that is operatively connected to a handle assembly or similar release device for a drawer, cabinet or other similar item. The latch mechanism is particularly useful for a drawer in a vehicle, where it may be subject to movement or situations where it is not level. The latch mechanism includes a keeper and a pin that is fitted to a bracket allowing sliding movement of the pin. The pin is biased towards an extended position and may selectively be located within the keeper when in the extended position so as to latch the bracket to the keeper. The pin is selectively engaged by an actuator so that the actuator may move the pin from the extended position to a retracted position, but the pin is also able to move from the extended position to the retracted position without effecting the actuator.
