ELECTRIC SADDLE TYPE VEHICLE WITH STORAGE AREAS
A motorcycle, or saddle type vehicle, is disclosed that may have at least one seat and at least two wheels, at least one hub electric motor. A large dry storage compartment may be positioned between the rider and steering mount. A rechargeable battery and battery management system may be located below the storage compartment in a battery housing, where the battery housing may be a structural component of the chassis. A rear electronics housing may be attached to and located behind the battery housing, and may contain major electrical components such as electric motor controller and contactors. Two structural members, or frame side rails, may form sides of the storage compartment and extend between the electronics housing and steering mount. The electronics housing may also connect to the battery housing such that the battery housing reinforces and strengthens the chassis, or structural frame. A secondary storage compartment may be located under the seat. Additionally, the storage compartments may have electronic locking mechanisms that are activated via a wireless connection to a remote electronic device.

TENSION CABLE CONTROL DUPLEXER
An electric vehicle includes a charge port configured to selectively lock a charge plug to the charge port, a charge port door configured to provide access to the charge port, a charge port door lock configured to selectively lock the charge port door in a closed position, a primary manual release cable operably coupled to the charge port to manually unlock the charge plug from the charge port, and a secondary tension cable system coupled between the primary manual release cable and the charge port door lock. Actuation of the primary manual release cable simultaneously unlocks the charge plug from the charge port and actuates the secondary tension cable system to unlock the charge port door lock.
VEHICLE INTERIOR COMPONENT
A vehicle interior component is disclosed. The component may comprise a base comprising a bin; a cover moveable from a closed to an open position through an unlatched position; and a mechanism moveable to an extended position to prevent the cover from opening when subjected to an inertial force. The mechanism may hold the cover in a blocked position partially uncovering the bin. The mechanism may be re-set by opening the cover. The mechanism may comprise a blocker to prevent the cover from moving from the unlatched position to the open position. The cover may comprise a cam surface configured to move the blocker to re-set the mechanism and allow the cover to open. The cover may comprise an interface/bottom surface accessible when the cover is blocked by the mechanism. The component may comprise a console; storage compartment; instrument panel; floor console; or center console.
Fuel lid opener
A fuel lid opener-has: a heart cam mechanism that is structured so as to, each time a lifter is push-operated via a fuel lid, cause the lifter to alternately repeat advancing-out and withdrawing, and so as to push the fuel lid open due to advancing-out of the lifter; and a locking mechanism-that can restrict operation of the heart cam mechanism. At the locking mechanism, a time when a stopper is moved by operation of a motor, and the aforementioned restricting is released, the aforementioned stopper engages with the heart cam mechanism and operates the heart cam mechanism. Due thereto, the lifter advances-out, and the fuel lid is pushed open.
REMOVABLY SECURED STORAGE BIN FOR SPECIALIZED VEHICLE HARDWARE
A specialized hardware storage system for a vehicle having one or more selectively removable components includes a storage bin and a lid defining a storage compartment, the storage bin configured to couple to the vehicle. An insert is selectively removable from the storage compartment and configured to receive and hold specialized vehicle hardware. A user is able to open the lid to access the storage compartment and subsequently remove the insert, thereby enabling the user to move the insert to a different location of the vehicle to add or remove the specialized vehicle hardware thereto or therefrom.
VEHICLE FORWARD SENSOR MODULE HOUSING AND COVER
A vehicle with sensor enabled features includes a vehicle frame, a windshield movable between a lowered position and a raised position where the windshield is coupled to the vehicle frame, and a forward sensor assembly coupled to the vehicle frame and including a sensor module disposed within a protective housing assembly. The protective housing assembly defines an open end and includes a front cover configured to removably couple to the protective housing assembly to selectively cover the open end. When the windshield is in the raised position, the windshield covers the open end to facilitate protecting the sensor module. When the windshield is in the lowered position, the front cover is configured to cover the open end to facilitate protecting the sensor module.
VEHICLE WITH INTEGRATED PORTABLE WIRELESS SPEAKER SYSTEM
A vehicle with an integrated portable audio system includes an interior body defining an interior passenger compartment and a docking station having a back wall, an upper wall, a lower wall, and side walls that define a receiving compartment. A wireless speaker is removably dockable with the docking station. When docked with the docking station, the wireless speaker is configured to connect to an audio system of the vehicle. When removed from the docking station, the wireless speaker is portable and configured to connect to a peripheral device for playing audio media on the wireless speaker.
