Handle mechanisms
A handle mechanism includes a gear drive having an interior end and an exterior end; an inside handle fixed to the interior end; a button; a finger; a handle drive; an outside handle; and a spring. The button has an interior end and an exterior end, which is positioned within the exterior end of the gear drive. The handle drive is positioned within the exterior end of the gear drive and is rotatable relative thereto. The outside handle and the handle drive rotate together. The outside handle moves between a first position, wherein it is constrained from rotation, and a second position. The finger is fixed to the exterior end of the button, which moves between a first position, wherein the finger causes the gear drive and the handle drive to rotate together, and a second position. The spring biases the button and the outside handle toward their first positions.
Gate latch
A gate latch configured to enable opening and closing thereof with only one hand. Comprises an integrated housing with an internal slide caused to move from a first position at one end of a slide sleeve member to a second position at an opposite end thereof, functionally related to corresponding pivotable movement of a fork member. When the fork member is disposed in a first, orthogonal position the gate latch is closed wherein a lip member is interlocked with a mated tongue member. When the fork member is disposed in a second, linear position the latch is open wherein the lip member is disengaged from the mated tongue member.
WINDOW LOCKING DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A locking device for a sash window having a window sash moveably mounted in a window frame, the locking device comprising a body and a locking element moveable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The device includes a sensor system to detect whether the window sash is in a closed position in the window frame and also to detect whether the locking element is in the locked position. The device includes a first sensor comprising a first lock sensor component mounted for movement with the locking element and a second lock sensor component mounted to the body. The device also includes a second sensor comprising a first window sensor component arranged to be mounted to the sash window and a second window sensor component mounted to the body. The device includes a detent mechanism which acts with the positional arrangement of the sensors to provide a reliable system.
Adjustable gate latch assembly
A gate latch assembly includes a first door mountable portion including a first body and carrying a pivotable latch bar that extends outward from a side of the first body, and a first handle part operatively connected to effect pivot of the latch bar when the first handle is rotated, a second door mountable portion including a second body and carrying a pivot bar, and a second handle part operatively connected to effect pivot of the pivot bar when the second handle is rotated. The gate latch assembly can be assembled in either a first configuration to permit rotation of the pivot bar away from its neutral position in only a first direction, or a second configuration to permit rotation of the pivot bar away from its neutral position in only a second direction that is opposite the first direction.
VERTICALLY ADJUSTABLE SASH LOCK
A vertically adjustable sash lock is described that improves the seal of windows. The vertically adjustable sash lock may include, for example, a housing configured to be coupled to a first window sash and a rotatable cam configured to rotatably engage with a keeper bracket coupled to a second window sash. A vertical member may be positioned through a threaded aperture of the rotatable cam. A knob coupled to the vertical member may drive a rotation of the vertical member, causing a vertical position of the rotatable cam relative to a bottom surface of the housing to adjust accordingly.
Vehicle door latch device
A vehicle door latch device includes: a body includes a striker advancing groove into which a striker advances along with closing movement of the door; a latch configured to interlock with the advanced striker so as to be rotatable from an open position to a latched position; a pawl configured to be biased to rotate, in a direction towards an engaged position where the pawl is engageable with the latch in the latched position from a released position where engagement with the latch is canceled, and restrain the door in a closed position by rotating from the engaged position to the released position in conjunction with rotation of the latch, rotating from the released position to the engaged position by biasing force, and engaging with the latch; and a buffer that is made of an elastic member.
Hood latch release handle
A mechanism configured to fasten a hood panel to a vehicle body for covering a vehicle under-hood compartment includes a pivotable latch. The latch has a primary catch portion that facilitates closure of the under-hood compartment via the hood panel. The latch also has a secondary catch portion that limits position of the hood panel within a predetermined distance from the vehicle body and generates an opening between the vehicle body and the hood panel. The latch additionally has a release handle that shifts into the opening to permit operator access to the release handle for releasing the secondary catch portion to uncover the under-hood compartment. The mechanism also includes a resilient element that selectively preloads the primary catch portion to facilitate closure of the under-hood compartment and preloads the secondary catch portion to limit the position of the hood panel within the predetermined distance from the vehicle body.
FITTING FOR AN OPENABLE ELEMENT
The present disclosure relates to a fitting for an openable element such as a door, locker, hatch, window, or the like, and an openable element preferably comprising the fitting. The fitting includes a housing arranged at one side of the openable element. A shaft extends extending from the housing, such that when the fitting is arranged to the openable element, the shaft extends through a hole image of the openable element. An actuation member is arranged on the shaft and rotatable relative to the housing. The fitting further includes a fixing member arranged axially along the shaft between the housing and the actuation member, such that the fixing member is rotatable relative to the housing and the shaft between an inserting position and a first fixing position.
REMOVABLE WINDOW SYSTEM
A vehicle that includes a vehicle body defining a plurality of openings configured for receipt of a window, and a plurality of retention features that are configured to maintain the window in the opening and permit the window to be easily removed from the opening. The retention features include a rotatable latch that is configured to maintain the window in the opening. Rotation of the latch permits the window to be removed from the opening. A rotatable handle is coupled to the latch that is configured to rotate the latch. A wave washer is coupled to the handle between the handle and the latch, wherein rotation of the handle rotates the wave washer into and out of engagement with the latch to rotate the latch.
