LOCKING MECHANISM
Locking mechanisms are designed to retain gates or other passageways in a locked and an unlocked position as a way to pass through a gate in a barrier or boundary, such as a fence, that encloses a space. A rotatable locking arm is attached to the gate while its neighboring fence section has a catch secured to it. When the locking arm is radially rotated to a secured, locked position, it is retained in an enclosed channel of the catch. Any ground heave or movement that shifts the gate with the locking arm relative to the neighboring fence section with the catch will allow the locking arm to move within the enclosed channel while retaining the locking arm in a locked position, which keeps the gate closed and the enclosed space secured.
AIRCRAFT DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM AND AIRCRAFT DOOR ARRANGEMENT
An aircraft door locking system comprises a first locking element fastenable to a first element of an aircraft door arrangement rotatable about a rotation axis and having a receiving opening and a bearing shell. A second locking element is fastenable to a door arrangement second element and comprises a locking bolt. In a release state, the locking bolt is insertable through the receiving opening and, by a rotation of the first locking element about the rotation axis in a locking direction, is positionable in the bearing shell to effect the locking state. A torque-generating device is configured, in the locking state, to generate a torque opposing a rotation of the first locking element about the rotation axis in a release direction opposite to the locking direction if a force directed substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis is exerted on the bearing shell and/or on the locking bolt.
Vehicle interior component
A component for a vehicle interior may comprise a base comprising a bin, a cover configured to move in an opening direction to uncover the bin and a closing direction to cover the bin, and a mechanism to retain the cover to the base. The mechanism may comprise a cam to retain the cover to the base. The cam may rotate to latch the cover to the base and unlatch the cover from the base. The mechanism may comprise an interface to rotate from a raised position to a depressed position to release the cover from the base. The cover may move in the opening direction as the interface rotates from the raised toward the depressed position. The mechanism may comprise a pin. The interface may disengage from the pin to unlatch the cover from the base. The interface may slide against the pin.
LOCKSET AND PALLET LOADING BIN HAVING SAME
Provided are a lockset and a pallet loading bin having the same. A lock hole is arranged at the pallet loading bin. The lockset comprises a lock bar and a handle. A first end of the lock bar is provided with a hook member for fitting the lock hole to realize locking. A connection portion is provided at the lock bar. The lock bar is rotatably connected, by means of the connection portion, to a bin body of the pallet loading bin. Rotation of the lock bar around the connection portion in a plane parallel to an outer surface of the bin body causes the hook member to extend into or retract from the lock hole, thereby realizing locking or unlocking of the lockset. The handle comprises a connection end. The handle is rotatably connected, by means of the connection end, to a second end of the lock bar opposite to the first end of the lock bar. Rotation of the handle around the connection end causes the handle to be positioned close to or away from the outer surface of the bin body. The lockset has a simple structure and low costs, can be processed and manufactured easily, can be operated flexibly with less effort, and adapts to the small thicknesses of an end wall and a side wall of a pallet loading bin.
LATCH DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A latch device for a vehicle includes an engageable member having an engageable notch engageable with a striker, a shaft member by which the engageable member is rotatably supported, a first body including a first support portion by which one end of the shaft member is supported, and a second body including a coupling portion coupled to the first body, and a second support portion by which another end of the shaft member is supported. The engageable member is rotatable about the shaft member between a first position in which engagement with the striker is achievable and a second position in which disengagement from the striker is permitted. With the first body, an entrance of the engageable notch through which the striker comes in the engageable notch in a state where the engageable member is in the first position is covered from one side in an axial direction of the shaft member. With the second body, the engageable notch in the state where the engageable member is in the first position is not covered, but left uncovered in entirety, from another side in the axial direction of the shaft member.
VEHICLE SIDE STRUCTURE
The present application prevents an engaging pin or a catcher pin from damaging an upper surface of a side sill or a lower surface of a side door when the door is closed, and reduces a height of the side sill over which an occupant steps when getting into a vehicle. A vehicle side structure includes an engaging portion that is at least partially provided between a lower part of a side door and a side sill and provides engagement between the lower part and the side sill. The engaging portion includes an engaging pin provided to protrude from an upper surface of the side sill, and a catcher pin that is provided in the lower part of the side door, receives the engaging pin brought into a space above the lower part of the side door, and engages a tip of the engaging pin.
COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance including a door; a key member on the door; a main body; and a latch device on the main body. The latch device includes a first lever, and a second lever that, when the door is being closed, is pressed by the key member to thereby cause the second lever to rotate in a first direction so as to press the first lever and thereby cause the first lever to rotate in the first direction. A spring holding portion is on the first lever. A first end of a spring is attached to the first lever and slidably held by the spring holding portion. A second end of the spring is attached to the body. The spring provides an elastic force to cause the first lever to rotate in a second direction opposite to the first direction when the door is being opened.
Gate latching system
A gate latching system is provided. A gate latching system installed onto a gate hinged to a stationary post for covert, one-handed operation, the gate latching system comprising a latch bar mounted to an interior side of the hinged gate via a plurality of fasteners where a first end of the latch bar rests against the stationary post preventing the gate from opening in an inward direction. The latch bar having a latch affixed next to the first end of the latch bar. An operator lever affixed at a midpoint of the latch bar and a stiff wire connector coupled to the latch and the operator lever and a latch coupling fastened to the stationary post in plane with the latch to optionally couple with the latch.
Lockset and Pallet Loading Bin Having Same
A lockset and a pallet loading bin an associated lock hole. The lockset comprises a lock bar and a handle comprising a connection end. A lock bar is provided with a hook member to interlock with the lock hole and a connection portion. The lock bar is rotatably connected via the connection portion, to a bin body of the pallet loading bin. Rotating the lock bar around the connection portion parallel to an outer surface of the bin body causes the hook member to extend into or retract from the lock hole, thereby interlocking or releasing the lockset. The handle is rotatably connected via the connection end, to a second end of the lock bar opposite to the first end of the lock bar. Rotating the handle around the connection end positions the handle close to or away from the outer surface of the bin body.
