Sash window restrictor
A sash window restrictor (20) has a housing (22) which is to be let into a vertical frame member (10) of one sash (normally the upper, outer sash) of a window, at a position, say, 10 cm above the top rail of the lower sash when the windows are closed. A tab (24) is mounted in the housing and can be retracted into the housing or extended from the housing. A mechanism acts between the tab and the housing and allows the tab to be pressed into the housing and held in the housing for a period of time before the tab is released to allow the tab to extend. With the tab extended, the lower sash (12) can be lifted until it reaches the tab (24) but no further, so that a 10 cm gap will be opened at the bottom of the window.
Home appliance
A home appliance is provided. The home appliance includes a main body having an accommodation space, a first door rotatably coupled to the main body to open and close the accommodation space and having an opening, a second door rotatably coupled to the first door to open and close the opening, and a locking device configured to fix or separate the first door to or from the main body or fix or separate the second door to or from the first door. The locking device includes a main ring unit, an operating lever configured to separate the second door from the first door by pressure, and a dual opening preventing member configured to maintain a fixed state of the second door with respect to the first door when the operating lever is pressed in a state in which the first door is open.
MULLION STRUCTURE FOR AN APPLIANCE
A refrigerated cabinet may include: a plurality of side walls forming a cabinet body and an interior storage space, the interior storage space accessible through an opening; a first door and a second door independently positionable over the opening; and a mullion formed by the second door, wherein the first door is configured to engage with the mullion. The mullion is a fixed structure formed by a portion of the second door. The refrigerated cabinet may further include a latching mechanism configured to selectively couple the first door and the second door, wherein the latching mechanism extends through the first door to engage the second door. The latching mechanism comprises a user-actuatable interface configured to decouple the first door and the second when the user-actuatable interface is engaged by a user.
Safety grain bin door latch system
A safety door latch system is presented for a grain bin having a door frame. An inner door is connected to the door frame that is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. An outer door is connected to the door frame and is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. A safety mechanism is connected to the door frame and is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. When the inner door frame is moved to a closed position, a portion of the inner door engages the safety mechanism thereby causing the safety mechanism to move to the closed position. When the safety mechanism is in the closed position, the outer door may be latched to the safety mechanism. When the safety mechanism is in the open position, the outer door cannot latch to the safety mechanism.
AUTOMATIC WINDOW SASH INTERLOCK
A window sash interlock includes a housing configured to mount to a side rail of a window sash. The housing includes a front face that substantially aligns with a surface of the side rail. A locking member is pivotably coupled to the housing about a pivot axis. The locking member is disposed at least partially within the housing and is movable between at least a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking member is biased so as to automatically return to the unlocked position, and in the unlocked position, the locking member at least partially extends from the front face of the housing.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet that defines a storage chamber, an upper door that is configured to open and close an upper portion of the storage chamber by being drawn in and out, a lower door that is positioned below the upper door and that is configured to open and close a lower portion of the storage chamber by being drawn in and out, an upper door restriction unit that is configured to selectively restrict the upper door from being opened, and a lower door restriction unit that is configured to selectively restrict the lower door from being opened. The upper door restriction unit is configured, based on the lower door being opened, to restrict the upper door from opening, and the lower door restriction unit is configured, based on the upper door being opened, to restrict the lower door from opening.
Detachable device for inhibiting air leaks between sliding panels
A panel fastening device that is configured to move together a first frame of a first panel unit having a first glass panel mounted within the first frame and a second frame of a second panel unit having a second glass panel mounted within the second frame. The device includes a suction cup is configured to be coupled to and released from the first glass panel of the first panel unit, and a structure is configured to be pressed against and released from the second frame of the second panel unit.
Door security device
A door security device may restrict movement of a swinging door. The security device may include first and second door members and a connecting member. The first and second door members may be mounted to first and second door panels, respectively. The first and second door members include first and second slots, respectively. The connecting member has first end with a shape configured to mate with the first and second slots to permit the first end to slide into the first and second slots such that the connecting member extends out of the first slot and the second slot through openings in the first outer face and the second outer face.
